It's made with lychee juice rather than puree and didn't have any actual lychee in it, so it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. For appetizers, we ordered the shumai and shrimp tempura. Both were decent, although the shumai arrived a little cool and could have been served warmer. The highlight was definitely the Love Boat for Two, which was a HUGE assortment of sushi and sashimi. We really enjoyed it. The fish wasn't quite as fresh as some of the sushi and sashimi we've had elsewhere, and the sashimi was cut much thicker than I personally prefer. On the bright side, I guess that means we got more fish, so that's not exactly the worst complaint to have! One random thing I really appreciated was the temperature inside the restaurant. Missouri is pretty hot and humid, but I also hate walking into a restaurant where the AC is blasting so cold that I need a jacket. Miyabi had it just right. There were a few things that could have been better, particularly the service and some of the food temperatures and freshness, but I'd still give Miyabi a solid four stars.
