It was awesome to check out Honor, definitely enjoyed their classes and such a great workout! Upon entering the studio is spacious, modern, and clean. I love the aesthetics here! I spoke with another student who was super friendly and motivating on her way out with her third time coming! She talked highly about Honor and seemed energetic and kind on her way out when I was entering in for my first class here. The person covering the desk was nice and both instructors I have taken were awesome. They have great music and help with form, I definitely felt the push and burn from doing Honor Pilates. Their machines are newer and easy to use if you are familiar with the older traditional reformers. Parking was easy when I came here, but it was mid morning during the weekday which makes it less busy.

The entire reason for my recent inquiry was simply to add members to my account--something that should be straightforward. I've left two messages, and neither call was returned. Even after bringing up the fact that my calls have gone unanswered, there seems to be no response or indication that anyone really cares. Membership rates continue to go up, and at this price point, I would expect responsive customer service to be a pivotal part of the club experience. If a longtime member is trying to add people to an account and can't even get a return phone call, something is seriously missing. Even when visiting the membership office in person, the atmosphere feels completely different than it used to. The employees often seem disengaged, almost as though they don't want to be there. I've enjoyed the Bay Club for many years, which makes this decline even more disappointing. What happened to customer service? Come on, Bay Club--get your act together.

How I haven't written a review for High Voltage Fitness yet, I have no idea!…read more Since I live at Torrey Gardens, I get full access to the facility here, along with the classes that are scheduled. Unfortunately, I have not attended any of their classes, but I have made use of pretty much every piece of equipment they will allow me to have. I say this because the trainers here have a closet full of goodies that they use for their clients. What they do have out is already pretty outstanding, especially because it's part of Torrey Gardens. Key fob needed to get in, open 24 hours. Equipment uses air pressure for resistance. This is totally new to me, but I have used it and have found very positive results. There's no barbell or a bar to hang from to do pull ups from, but there's plenty of workarounds. The dumbbells are easily the best thing about this place, as they go real heavy (up to 100lbs!). Their cable machines are good, and they have a great assortment of leg machines. They have good kettlebells, good cardio machines to include one rower and hand crankers. They also have two foam rollers, which are essential! The trainers are always busy with their clients, and they know what they are doing! If you live here, you need to utilize what you are paying for included into your rent! I will definitely continue to workout here as long as I'm living in Torrey Gardens!

They have showers if you are in a hurry in need to be somewhere they are clean! The only complaint I have is the wipes for the equipment are always out... oh and there are quite a few guys here who don't like to wear deodorant so when that happens it's hard to stay cause the smell is rough. One of the things I like about the cardio equipment here is it is timed for 30 minutes so usually people are not on it for an hour. It really frees it up for other people to use so your not waiting. One of the best apartment gyms for sure. I have not tried the personal trainers but they do offer them. They also have classes like yoga if your interested.
