Life Time is great! I come here 1-2 times a day and I absolutely love it. I love the pool, the machines, the squash courts, hot tub, treadmills, massage chairs, etc. I'll never go to any other gym. They also offer an array of classes, and up to 150+ a day. They have a spa, PT, a chiropractor, etc. available on site as well. I highly recommend checking this place out!

It was surprisingly easy to find parking. The staff was really nice. Everything was really clean. Weather was perfect. All the vibes were there. I really enjoyed the bathroom very modern. We will definitely be coming back to do more classes here.

Darryn at the front makes all the difference when you are welcomed properly and professionaly with warm and real enthusiasm you naturally want to go more often and she is extremely intelligent with a masters in bio btw sam is the goat.

No towels on the main floor this morning. I'm leaving in disgust! Jo, do your job!!!!! This club charges absurd monthly dues for the service provided. Everyone please contact corporate.

Oh my goodness! Such a great experience. I was able to visit the La Jolla gym and I had the most amazing time. Everyone was accommodating and very welcoming as I was out of town on a visit from Virginia! Overdue... ***Review based on visit from August 2022! Being that CALI is my home it was nice to be back and feel the vibe of the beach and energy from the gym... collectively. Would definitely recommend this gym. It was so clean and exquisite, its mere essence, very classy.

This Life Time location is everything you would expect and more for a higher-end gym. A few bonuses include a spa, salon, and cafe that you wouldn't expect for a gym location; an all-in-one. A bonus is you get free parking with your membership ( a huge deal for this cute neighborhood). I would just note this is more of a higher end gym, so the price point will be higher. It's in a different league than 24Hr fitness and LA fitness, and comparable to an Equinox.

I'm truly grateful to have found a functional fitness gym that complements my marathon training and is helping me rebuild after taking two years off heavy weight training. The classes are super structured and always well explained, with built-in modifications if needed. One thing I love is that each station has a TV screen showing the movements, so even if you forget, you always have a visual reference. The programming is intentional--it keeps you from getting overly fatigued or risking injury, while still challenging you to push hard when it's your turn. The rotating group format includes rest blocks that give you just enough time to recover and hit the next set strong. I love that part so much! The mix of cardio and functional strength is solid--it never feels like too much of either, and the balance is thoughtfully spread out throughout the week. And the best part? It's a real community. Everyone is genuinely supportive and here to help each other hit personal goals. Parking is super easy, too! There's a convenient lot behind the building shared with Harry's Diner, plus plenty of neighborhood parking nearby, so I've never had trouble finding a spot--even in La Jolla. The facility itself is insanely clean, well-stocked with PT and mobility tools, and clearly designed with so much intention. The gym itself is always clean, packed with all the equipment you could need, and ready for any fitness level. The classes are SOLID. Whether you're into functional fitness, HIIT, strength or hybrid training, the coaches are experienced and incredibly and actually care about helping you hit your goals. But what really makes FitStop special is the energy--everyone's in it together, cheering each other on, making workouts way more fun (and a little less painful). Ryan, Cassie, and the trainers go above and beyond--they're always around to chat about nutrition, recovery, or whatever else you want to know more about. It's more than a gym; it's a community where fitness feels less like a chore and more like something you actually look forward to. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel supported, challenged, and part of something bigger, this is it.
