I really really want to like this place. I've been going sporadically for years and they can't seem to get it together. It is a great venue and I continue to go back with the hopes that they'll have worked out the kinks with each new iteration. Nope. For one, this place has had several owners, but they can't seem to get the stinkin' volume right. It is so LOUD! Ear piercing loud. Like, can not have a conversation without leaning in and yelling loud. Are we 18 with a fake id on dirty 6, or what!? Secondly the prices are criminal. We got a frozen margarita (from a machine) and a can of Lone Star...$40 with a tip. A can of Lone Star was over $15. Are you kidding? And there was no table service either. Stale chips and canned cheese for $10. Pretzel (which was likely bought frozen in bulk) and "cheese" for $18.00. Yes, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. No menu, no price preview either. We had drinks and dinner at Jack Allen's for less! Haute Spot...get it together! They should charge a small fee for entry, allow re-entry, charge $5 a plate for the b-team ballpark food (or bring in foodtrucks), charge half or 1/3 of what they do for drinks, expand the beer selection (they had no ales or porters), lower the volume juuuuust a tad, and make this place the fabulous place it can be! Venue was really nice. Very comfortable and inviting. Restrooms were convenient and clean. Sound was great. Food was really pedestrian. Beer selection was extremely limited. Black Joe Lewis and Selfless Lovers put on a great show. I will definitely go back, but will eat before going. read more

Very annoying venue. Security guard had snarky comment for wife as we entered venue. "Did you paint these pants on?" No wrist bands were offered upon entry and we were harassed by EVERYONE until finally a manager or something offered to get us each one. Asked for ID multiple times. Asked for tickets multiple times. The table system incredibly annoying. Various sections, private areas, etc. Harassed about that by every passerby/employee. Just a frustrating experience and sucked the fun out of the whole night. And the nachos...my word...worst than you get at a middle school football game. read more

I went tonight to see Bret Michaels. Overall, this is a fantastic venue. The atmosphere feels comfortable and laid back. Employees are nice and there's a good vibe. There are large trees, several bar areas, awesome food trucks, free water, and some fun sitting areas. Being close to home, I could see myself going regularly to some of their budget friendly shows just because it's a nice hang out spot. There's really only one negative, but to me it's a big one. The stage is so low! It looks to be about a foot tall. They had a smaller stage that jutted out into the crowd where Bret did most of his performance. I'm guessing it was about 2 feet tall. With everyone standing you really can't see the performance. I was only about 15 feet from the stage, but for the most part I could only see his head and sometimes his shoulders. At one point I went to the back to view from a distance, but that wasn't any better. It seemed like the only decent viewing spots were in the very front or the VIP balcony in the back. Several people would hold their phones up high to take video. Watching through a phone in the air actually gave the best view. If the stage ever gets an update it would be five stars all the way! read more

I went there to see Suede which is always a packed house. I loved all of the white lights in the trees and the sound was good. The bathrooms by the bar were very clean. I did think the bar drink choices were limited (no Ruby Red Deep Eddy?!) and the drinks were pricey at $11 each. The bartenders definitely could have been friendlier, especially after having to wait over 10 minutes in line for a drink. Also, they said that it was 16+ but there was a 7 or 8 year old right at the front of the stage. I would try this place again. read more

I saw Tom Keifer / LA Guns and Faster Pussycat back in June and I thought the venue was very accommodating and there really is not a bad seat in the house (most of its standing). And I believe its the most people for a concert that it has held. The place was packed. What was surprising is how good the sound was. read more

Went there for the first time and am very impressed with the event space design , outdoors , open spacious -- corn hole , mini golf putting area , table tennis -- completely remodeled outdoor venue -- staff was awesome, food and drinks were great -- we are so lucky to have this venue not far north of Austin , super easy access off 183. Wade Bowen concert. Ordered 6 tickets online and was only given one option in the first 2 minutes of ticket sales. I had to choose a table in GA. Concert did not sell out immediately. When we arrived all GA tickets were standing only. It appears that seating changes after you purchase tickets, as I am seeing this in other reviews as well. Not cool, false advertising, I wouldn't have purchased those tickets. Also, lines for bar were terrible. Many "managers" running around, not very efficient. Couldn't even see Wade Bowen... not sure how that seating plan was decided. This was my third time at Haute Spot and by far the worst. Not sure what is going on, but definitely not worth it this time! read more

Show was to start @ 7:00, doors yo open at 6:30. Have been standing in line sine 6:20. It is now 8:00 and still have not let anyone in. Very poor management and planning. Will be the last time I come here. At this point I'm not going to be able to even see the show. Horrible!!! read more

The last two incarnations of this venue were pretty terrible. So, I thought I should give some credit for the much improved food and service. I have one major complaint though. I went for Sunday brunch and the music volume was so high it was hard to enjoy the meal. It's like the owners don't know the difference between a Saturday night concert and a Sunday afternoon... brunch. Hint: two different crowds, moods, atmosphere, etc. I might come back for a show, but not for brunch. read more

I'm new in town so I wanted to try this place and just go for food and drinks. They said I had to buy a ticket for a concert that I did not want to attend pay for. I get to the door and it turns out I do have to pay. I'm a teacher and I'm trying to be really good with my budget so I did not expect to spend $22 on a concert. But the guys that were singing we're OK. I mostly just like being outside in a rocking chair taking off my shoes and rubbing my feet in the fake grass. Thank goodness the weather was good. Unfortunately the food wasn't so save your money on that or eat before you come. Apparently there is a full menu and then there is a concert menu which I did not like because it gave me very limited choices. I wanted a grilled chicken sandwich and I couldn't get that during a concert. So if you are going to come hungry please take a look at their website and their menus before you come and decide whether you wanna eat here or not. The service was good though the waiters and waitresses gave me good attention and brought my food and drink out in a timely manner. read more

Love the venue, service is good but they forgot to bring us flatware and took a while to get our server. We went on a Thursday night and the music , if one could call it that, was so loud our ears were reverberating. We couldn't hear each other snd were basically using sign language. We c as me tee we ice on two Thursday nights in June snd the band was much better snd enjoyable. Not even sure what this band was playing- way, way too loud. The servers were saying the same thing. Great music, beautifully designed with nice bathrooms. Comfortable seating. The service was great and friendly. Kept waters coming without being asked. Would like a way to tip on the app for that. So happy this place is in Cedar Park. Fried pickles were a little spicy and yummy. Spent about what I would spend on a movie and saw a great show. We'll be coming back a lot. read more

Beautiful venue. Sunday brunch consisted of a somewhat limited but good buffet. I wish we'd been able to order off the menu as well. The atmosphere is beautiful, and we definitely want to come back for live music events. There were lots of families brunching, but there were also a lot of unsupervised kids running around. At least two tables were hit by footballs, with no visible staff or parent response. If you want a more peaceful experience, maybe choose another place. read more

We went in for the opening night to see Justin Furstenfeld, flew from North Carolina. I absolutely love the setup and the purpose of the venue, staff was very friendly and understanding, we went there to enjoy the music, obviously, but were told that there would be food, so we didn't eat dinner. I understand this was the first night for reopening, but our food order didn't come out til the show was nearly over. We waited about 2.5 hours, but hopefully they will learn from that experience and will improve in the future, in my understanding the food at the venue used to be provided by food trucks and this issue was completely understandable. To start, let's just agree that using "haute" was poor decision-making. It's a real word, folks, and it doesn't describe this venue. This place isn't terrible. It is in the middle of nowhere, but the parking is ample, and the grounds are really nice. There's lots of space to spread out and enjoy an evening under the oaks with some good live music. I've heard this place has turned over quite a bit, and to me, it just doesn't feel finished...like they haven't quite got it all worked out yet. Tonight there was a private party + VIP + general admission and very poor signage. It was hard to tell where we were supposed to be, and where we weren't. We were supposed to get. A free drink with our VIP wristbands, but we didn't. The only bonus we could see from even getting VIP was getting to stand in the balcony. The bartenders in VIP were not friendly at all, but I can't speak to all the others. The worst part about this venue is the stage. As others have commented, it's seriously low to the ground so seeing over people, even from the balcony, is a challenge. Overall, it's ok. The sound was good and I'd return if there was someone I REALLY wanted to see was playing, but I'm not sure how highly I'd recommend it. read more

First concert here since it has opened as a event center and I find it quite fitting for this type of venue. NJ(one of the event managers) was so helpful and so nice! The sound from the stage is perfect which I was not expecting from an outdoor venue. The light show that they had with this event was awesome. read more
