Halal Chicken Tikka - tender chicken boneless dark meat marinated with yogurt and spices to make it tender. The chicken was bone fall off. . halal beef Bihari Boti - chunky spices marination sauce like a masala marination. The beef was tender and wasn't over cooked. . The kebabs here pairs so well with the Afghan rice with raisins, juliene cut carrots and lamb cooked in it with spices too. I had a butter naan with it as well. . The kebabs here is wonderful and authentic. I really enjoy it and can't wait to come back for more. The mint chutney is perfect pairing with the proteins. would not recommend using this as a venue. i love supporting muslim owned businesses but this place is over priced (although beautiful) and the owner seriously needs to work on their customer service. For one - we had to bring in our own coke/pepsi/beverages because he didn't offer any as part of the catering service. He is also really rude to the women and I have heard many complaints from the women in my community of how him treating them in an incredibly rude manner, he even tried to argue with one of the ladies when she brought it up. read more

We were excited that this place is being utilized again as Haveli grill. Came here during the Ramadan Iftar which was really delicious and thankfully not crazy spicy. The negative were the outside smokers smoking right in front of the door. I'm allergic and super sensitive so upon exiting the building and going to the parking lot my face was exposed to the harsh chemicals which is causing facial irritation now. It would be nice if they created a shaded roof or mini tent at the end of the buildings corner further away from the entrance as a place for designated smoking. Other than that, you can tell they were quick in service, had more than enough food if you didn't choose something earlier. For the tandoori chicken, I would suggest adding salt because it looked good but was flavorless. I'm so glad there's an authentic Pakistani flavored restaurant in the area! I was in the neighborhood and wanted to get some tandoori chicken legs and naan. I ordered for pickup and my order costed around $17. The pickup process was quick and easy. The food was ready on time and all I had to do was pay and leave. Once I got home and opened up my food I saw the two most depressing tandoori chicken legs I've ever seen. They were so tiny and were not filling at all. This was extremely disappointing. The chicken had some flavor but lacked that char you look for when getting anything cooked in a tandoori oven. This can also be said about the naan which lacked flavor. The place was empty when I got there and I should taken that as a sign. Overall, I wouldn't go back and didn't have the greatest experience. This is probably one of the only decent locations nearby, as in the Sac area, that serves Halwa Puri. Visited Haveli on a random Sunday back in Feb to try their buffet. You won't be disappointed by their buffet options but their Al carte is way better! They serve Halwa puri on Sundays only during a short 3-4 hour timeframe during lunch. Come quick, hungry, but not hangry like me, and enjoy a fresh puri with Halwa. You can request fresh puri to be brought to your table, as well. read more

After a long day of driving I was looking for a close restaurant to my hotel and this was within walking distance. So after looking at the menu I decided to give it a try. The hostess greeted me walking in it was not busy, and I was promptly seated. Within a few minutes she returned to take my order. So after looking over the menu I opted for the house cucumber salad and some very nice curried chicken. It literally took about 15 minutes tops from the time I placed my order to the time my server returned with my salad and then another minute or two total until my Chicken Korma appeared at my table. The cucumber salad is a large plate of fresh garden greens with chunky style tomatoes and cucumbers, on a bed of ice berg and topped with red onions with lemon wedges on the side. Italian dressing also on the side. The salad was freshly made and large enough to share. Fresh greens, crunchy veggies and chunks of tomato it hit the spot, nothing fancy but very good. The Chicken Korma which is a savory and spicy Curried Chicken chunks in a spicy red curry that has some zip to it though not overpowering. A nice sized portion and with the Tandoori Naan it was a very good meal. The Tandoori Buttered Naan, was absolutely baked prefection, a nice sized bread sliced in two halves. This was so good it totally could be a meal on its own and at $1.50 cheap! A Hot Green Tea to finish my meal and I was good to go for my evening ahead. A nice meal and a very inexpensive by comparison. Amazing food, always same quality and made fresh. Goat doesn't even taste like goat because they season it so well it has this rich delicious taste to it. If you never tried goat you should here because you won't even know you're eating goat. Naan is perfect. Rice is great as well. Chicken is a bit dry for my liking however the flavor makes up for it. Mango lassi is perfection. This is the kind of smoothie I can drink every day, super smooth and flavorful. Service is great to, they are attentive and if you need anything they are ready to help. Restaurant itself does not have the best interior, or welcoming look to it but the big windows lots of natural lights and amazing food that they serve makes up for it. We drove from Stockton here as a friend recommended it and we were up for a date night and drive to get out of the house. There is only outdoor seating due to the State pandemic restrictions but that didn't matter, it was lovely. They did their best to turn the patio into something inviting and comfortable. We were greeted and seated right away. They had music playing and asked if was too loud for us, it wasn't, we enjoyed it. They brought us bottled waters right away and food came out very timely. Delicious fresh food prepared right when you order. I took my family for taste testing for our wedding event. Everything was absolutely delicious and had just the right amount of spice. I needed to have a sit down dinner and my hotel had this restaurant within it's boundaries, so I tried it out. It was basically empty so I was quickly seated and given water and a menu. I wanted to try a tandori chicken leg, but staff said it wasn't available, so I got a 1/2 tandori chicken, which strangely, was available. Seems like they could have cut one of those to give me a leg...but no. Also got some basmati rice and some garlic naan. The rice was a huge platter. Wayyy more than I could eat, but no smaller portion was available. So, after ordering, I waited...and waited...and waited. Something like 45 minutes for my meal. Not a good look. Hope your business stays open, but that your management will improve on the wait times and food availability. We enjoyed a delicious dinner! It took a long time for them to take our order and a very long time to get our food, but it was beyond good! For a very hungry family of four adults, we ordered: -Family Size Mixed Grill - came out on a sizzling platter with a base of onions that caramelized beneath the meat. My favorite was the sesame, but other family members had other favorites. Would order all three again! We had a good amount of leftovers, but everything was so good there isn't anything we wouldn't order again. We were happy to take food home. The atmosphere is pretty casual - no decor or music. The people working there talked loudly amongst themselves and didn't seem to care about the ambiance for their guests. The bathroom is clean but the floor seems to have so much cleaning product residue that it was sticky. When we asked for the bill to pay and leave, the waiter told us to go to the register. We never saw the bill, we were just told a total. It was reasonable and about what we had estimated, but it would be nice to get a bill at the table. Authentic but not over the top. They have a weekend buffet that includes salad, samosas, chai, biriyani, saag, makhani, tandoori, multiple desserts - basically everything you would want. And the buffet happens every night during the month of Ramadan! During Ramadan the restaurant is bustling; very fun and lively. To top it off, the staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Never again. Where do I start? Ordered lunch through GrubHub. Go to pick it up once I get my notification and the employee I spoke to defensively says they never got my order. He offers to make my food, which I accept because I'm hungry. I get to wait even longer. Call GrubHub, who says the restaurant accepted my order 40 minutes earlier. Was there a miscommunication? I'm not sure. What I do know is that there was hardly two bites of actual chicken in my Chicken Karahi. Half of what was in the container was joint, bone and gristle, with the rest being sauce and peppers. The sauce was very tasty, but I'm still hungry because THERE WASN'T ANY CHICKEN IN IT. The people working in the back definitely looked like they were slacking off and taking their sweet time, the wait was way longer than it should've been bc the restaurant was pretty much empty at the time I was there. The restaurants vibe screamed run down, but that doesn't always mean it's bad bc many "run down" looking places have good authentic food. I asked the person at the register why the difference and was told, "it's the new price" I mentioned that the new price should be posted or the old menus should not be placed for review by customers. Ok after my experience at Indian oven I was pretty scared I've been here before but I'm not sure if I reviewed it. The tandoori chicken leg was very good the chutney could be better. The goat korma and karahi was excellent and chicken tikka masala was good also. Tandoori roti was very good too I usually get garlic naan. Took home chicken biryani and it was not very flavorful also got chicken karahi which was good. My top dish is probably the goat karahi. read more

Yesterday we had a small celebration and had a great time at Haveli. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly too. One suggestion would be to train your staff to check in on the guests frequently to attend to their needs. This was the only thing that was missing, compared to American restaurant service. We have been coming here for years, a couple of times it wasn't a good experience but we never stopped going since this is normal with the Desi restaurant business in the US. Besides the spices. I was able to handle the spices but my better half was not. So he enjoyed the food but not like I did. Decor was beautiful and it was a clean place to eat. I was hesitant to eat here at first because of the bad reviews. But I was like yolo. I had a very good experience. Food was so good. Flavorful and (warm). The naan can be a bit thinner but it was still good. Server was nice and friendly. Chai was bomb. And the dessert was good too. I didn't see or taste anything wrong with it. Over all food was spicy but it worked perfect for me. But if you cant handle spices then you going to the wrong place lol . Give it try tho. read more
