Was able to get a cup to enjoy during my visit

A humble, unpretentious and small establishment that feels exactly what locals need. There's nothing modern about this place.. it's unapologetically itself. Ordered an 8oz americano. It was sufficient on its own. I was told that they get their coffee from Cafeto in Eugene. Well played. Staff were helpful and service was fast. There is a bathroom for customers which is always a plus. Prices are very fair for the area. Food options are limited to pastries and oatmeal. Parking is a challenge but there are so many great places to visit once you are situated in the Village. Pass on the Starbucks down the street and try this place instead!

This teeny tiny coffee shop is pretty good--it makes me wonder why someone would choose Starbucks over this place for their cup of Joe. Their prices aren't bad, except that they charge $1.25 for a breve drink which is kind of ridiculous. I ordered a chai and their chai was REALLY good. It had a very subtle taste and I wish I knew that brand they used because if it's available I'd consider buying it to make at home. They only have two or three tables and maybe a couple theatre chairs, so it's not really a place that might be comfortable for folks to hang out terribly long. (Maybe that's why one would choose Starbucks instead.) There's only street parking but this is definitely a neighborhood hangout.

Matcha latte with a surprise ingredient. Super good

10/10 The coffee hit the spot at a reasonable price with excellent service from a super welcoming and helpful staff (shoutout Olas!!). Had no expectations coming in but was surprised by the space. Every seat was comfortable and well spaced out and conducive to chatting and working or just relaxing and people watching. I can tell I'll be coming here a lot more often. Olas explained the history of the corner sweating and was super/well above expectations attentive and caring. Sometimes it really pays to explore new coffeeshops!!! Great hours and environment and cute neighborhood to enjoy. I would bring friends and family here.

Pros: good quality beverages, we had both latte and dirty chai, both delicious Cons: not much, this is a small establishment so seating is limited and there is only one barista

Marionberry with cream cheese Fazzoletti, and vanilla latte.

Delicious vanilla latte and amazing service. Their CC machine was down so bring cash. A small gem in Multnomah Village worth checking out!

The single barista handled the overwhelming number of people that were there with poise and speed. The coffee was perfect too!

They have great scones. This is always what we order here. They have cranberry, buckwheat and a special blueberry cream version. We stopped by after eating at GIGI's, to get a scone. There were only buckwheat, that's not our fav. We were hear for cranberry. It's the best. We were about to leave, with sad looks on our face. I figured I'd just ask... you never know. The person behind the counter said they would check, it might be a long time if they are baking. Fingers crossed! We had some hope... but really I didn't think they had any. The person came back and said, YES we have them. They are fresh out of the oven!!! OMG From sadness, to hope, to surprise happiness. But then we tasted one in the car. I don't think I can go back to just buying room temp scones anymore. I'd really like to sign up for the hot scone club. Any scone fans out there need to try this. It was so delicious!

The dough was light, crisp, and perfectly delicate, and the rhubarb was the true star--tart but beautifully balanced, not overwhelming at all. I went mid-morning, and it was fresh, not sitting around, which made a big difference. I honestly wish I had grabbed a second one, but my waistline politely voted no.

The inside is very small so not a place to linger or come with a group. I ordered a strawberry matcha and it was so good. The service was great. It may have just been our experience, but the first impression wasn't great. Location - If you're not familiar with the area, I highly recommend using GPS because it's tucked away on the corner of a large apartment complex and is easy to miss. It's essentially hidden. There are fewer than a small handful of guest parking spots in the complex, and the rest are reserved for residents. Street parking is available, but that's limited as well. Service - This is the primary reason for the rating. The staff member who helped us came across as less than friendly. Since it was our first time, we mentioned we were leaning toward one drink and just wanted to confirm a few things about less ice and size. He responded with "What drink?" and proceeded as if we were ready to order, without really addressing our questions. It wasn't the words themselves, but the tone and approach that felt rude. When I later asked for a receipt, he pointed to the tablet screen where it mentioned receipts would be emailed, though he did eventually hand me a printed copy. Overall, the interaction just didn't feel welcoming. Drinks - We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee with less ice, though it still came with quite a bit of ice. The ube was more of a thick cream consistency, which just isn't personally my preference. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, similar to what you would typically find elsewhere.
