    P1. Chicken Poke Bowl

This was supposed to be chicken and I truly have never felt more disgusted by this it was chewy like if it was rubber I couldn't swallow by how nasty it was .Please if you go i'll recommend you to please don't order the chicken and i've tried other bowls with tuna and also caused me a stomach ache:/

Used to be a favorite place but it's gone down hill. Been to this place greater than 10 times and the last 4 visits have gotten worse and worse. Skimping on portions, increasing prices (which I can understand), poor communication and service. Today we waited 20 minutes for 3 bowels of build your own that we had to self order with their new kiosk, no one ever said hi, or even acknowledged us or the delayed make time. We saw them making mobile orders, which is fine, but acknowledgement would be nice. Eventually people came to dine in and 2 separate groups were receiving service as the bowls sat on the counter in the middle of production. Our ticket number was never called, they stapled up our bag and handed it to us and never said a word. Update: got home and 2/3 bowls were incorrect. 1 bowl didn't have the extra sauce as we paid extra for. And the 2nd bowl was not a custom but a duplicate of the first ordered. Called the location to ask for it to be refunded or to corrected and was met with defense that they had made it and they remember doing it correctly. The employee then tried to process a refund and we were told that their kiosk was not processing correctly. I am pleased to say that they offered to give us cash back instead, but we do have to go back to the shop.

Ok Poke. This area has A LOT of poke competition and I like this subway/chipotle style, build your own poke bowl concept at Hawaii poke and grill. What I had was just ok but it could've been my own fault for doing the wrong combinations. The staff was extremely accommodating and nice, allowing me to try different sauces on the side but the contents themself weren't packing a punch. Part of it was the temperature, everything seemed to be exactly the same room temperature where I would've preferred my crisp veggies be slightly chilled, like a slightly chilled cucumber, slightly chilled radish, even the tuna seemed to be room temperature. I think this little adjustment would go along way, adding to the texture and refreshing nature of the Poké bowl. Unfortunately, the soda machine was out of ice during my visit but I did see some good employee training and quality control measures of pokey creation for online orders. It appears they have the leadership needed to make this a great establishment. Give the food 3 starts but adding employee, accommodation and positive training for overall 4 star review.

I love the poke at this place!! They opened not too long ago and I'm so glad I checked them out! We've actually ordered from them several times because we loved their food so much! Service is always fast and friendly! I love that they give you the option to build your own bowl. I choose that every time and salmon and tuna are my favorites. The portion sizes are more than plenty to be filling for one person. Prices are reasonable. They also have plenty of other options to choose from, if poke is not your thing! Definitely recommend checking them out and I will definitely continue returning for their delicious poke!

    Thai tea with boba
    Marica M.

I love poke and was so excited to try somewhere local that is near our house. However, I feel like Hawaii Grill and Poke missed the mark for me. The Thai tea that I got was probably one of the worst drinks I've ever had before. You could hardly call it a Thai tea. It lacked flavor, was mostly milk and wasn't very sweet. The boba was cooked properly so that was their redeeming factor. The poke bowl was average to me. It definitely wasn't the best poke bowl I've ever had and I found it to be small for what it was. Would I order from here again? If it was desperate for a quick poke fix and it was convenient. But I wouldn't be going out of my way to eat here.

I'm excited for another lunch option around this part of town. This place just opened on Monday, and people are already getting on the takeout game. Let's dive right in to what they have to offer. *Poke: You can build your own poke bowl, or pick from one of their signature poke bowls. The base for the signature bowls can be either brown rice, sushi rice, or noodles. I went for the aloha bowl with sushi rice. They have the right amount of poke sauce. The red onion flavor was a little strong for me. Sushi rice could use a little more seasoning. The star of the show was definitely the tuna and spicy salmon. Overall, my bowl made a very well balanced meal with the veggies, proteins, fats, and carbs all in one go. *Milk tea: My friend had the matcha milk tea, and loved her drink. I really enjoyed my Thai tea as well. You can add jelly or boba to the drinks. I'm coming back for these In the future. The restaurant has an option to dine inside or outside. It might be nice to play a little background music for the diners inside. There's a private parking lot shared with other businesses. All the workers were super friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up! Go check them out!!!

We have visited this location a few times now, and it's been good every time. The staff has been friendly, and our food is done quickly. We've ordered online and in store and both were quick and easy. The bowls always seem to have plenty of protein and sauce. We will definitely be back.

Pretty decent spot for poke! I got a build your own poke bowl and crab rangoons. The poke was yummy and fresh. They definitely put plenty of sauce on there. The pieces of fish were pretty big. I kinda wish they were sliced a bit smaller. Same with the avocado, mango, and pineapple. Super big pieces makes it hard to get a little bit of everything in one bite. The crab rangoons definitely didn't have any crab in them so it's was just cream cheese. They were very good though, just misleading calling them crab rangoons. The add one were a little pricy but came with a good portion. I ordered from their website and it was much cheaper than ordering through an app for pickup. I'll definitely come back!

Wow! This place deserves more 5-star reviews in yelp! I am very picky with Poke bowls and I often drive to Ahi poke bowl in arlington. This place is even better?! All ingredients are fresh! Staff are very nice and genuine. I ordered diy poke bowl with salmon, sushi rice, cucumber, seaweed salad, edamame, masago ( fish eggs ) , tamago ( egg ) and eel sauce plus ponzu sauce ( soysauce-ish ) Note: for DIY poke bowl, fill out the paper form then get in line to give it to cashier. If you can't find it, it's the same row as mattress firm. Note to owner: Please update location in Apple maps and google maps. It was directing to petco/gamestop area! I almost gave up finding it.

    Volcano bowl drenched in sauce..

I really hate to post low ratings but my ratings will always be honest. My sister and I were excited that there was another Poke place near us. We decided to stop by. There were very few pros and many cons. It was very clean inside, that's a pro. But the downfall was the price and not the best customer service. My sister got the volcano bowl. It was drenched with sauce.. just by looking at it, you'd think she asked for extra sauce. Before I ordered my bowl, I asked if I can have any substitutions if I ordered the volcano bowl. He said yes for no extra charge. The lady working with him came over and tried to charge me $2 extra for ONE substitution. It was confusing and embarrassing because there was a line. All the waiting for the other customers could've been avoided if it weren't so confusing. So I ended up building my own bowl. 2 bowls and 2 bottled drinks came out to be $30. Doesn't even seem right. Sounds like we got overcharged which doesn't sit right with me. Won't be returning

My friend's custom bowl, definitely slightly larger size bowl than mine.... DAMN

This gotta be the SLOWEST poke spot I've ever been to in my life. The typical poke spots I go to, they do it like Chipotle style/Subway where they make it as you choose your toppings/goods to put in the bowl. For THIS one, you fill out a paper like you would do for Which Wich? And hand it to the cashier. Maybe it's just because we came at the worst possible time (8:15), but we waited about 20 minutes until we got our order of two bowls. Food wasn't bad though, but at the same time nothing out of this world in terms of the flavor. They DO have some cool options however, with NOODLES as a potential base, and some other cool toppings I don't typically see at other poke shops. Flavor wise, I felt like it was pretty okay. MEH. Nice customer service though. Oh yeah they have 0 music in the background too which is a little strange but WHATEVER

We were so excited to have another poke place open up nearby but we're left very underwhelmed. Service was good we were greeted with a friendly face who helped break down the menu and ordering process for us. The food was good but it just lacked the authenticity of real Hawaiian food. It was basically Asian styled food. It was a little pricey too 3 entrees ended up being 40$ without tip. The steak fried noodle dish was steak meat on top of lo mein. The steak dinner plate was your typical run of the mill beef rice place. I did a build your own poke but was disappointed by the lack of fish options. I ended up getting salmon and eel and it was yummy without any fishy smell. They limited you to 3 toppings of every category which isn't something I've seen a poke place do before. I also noticed that they had a chicken poke bowl option. Not something I'd try myself but a good option for someone who wants to try a poke bowl without the fish. Not a bad place to eat but if I'm craving poke I'd probably just go to poke stop instead

We had a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend because it gets busy especially on a Friday and parking is limited. Once we were seated, the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu. We started with the hand rolls, the Masu Tartare and Toro Tartare and both were delicious. I personally loved the Masu more, but you really can't go wrong with either. We also ordered calamari, which arrived a bit later. It was okay, nothing spectacular, not as crispy as I hoped but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. For sushi, I had the Spicy Atlantic Salmon and the Kani Koi. I absolutely loved the Spicy Atlantic Salmon...it was definitely a favorite but my fiancé preferred the Kanikoi, so everyone wins. We also tried the Kamasu - Barracuda, which was just as delicious. Overall, everything was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try more hand rolls and a few other dishes.

I am a Sushi novice to say the least, but my grandson and daughter wanted to introduce me to his new favorite restaurant, he's 15 so I had to see what he was raving about! The only reason I gave 4 stars is, cuz I am not educated on all things sushi and the extensive menu didn't really break down what each category really meant, the place was packed so clearly it's a newbie issue. I mentioned to our server Cameron, who was so polite and professional by the way, that it might be fun to host a monthly Sushi 101, where people could make reservations and for a flat rate the attendees could learn the difference between sashimi, sushi and all the other preparations for the cuisine. People could taste and sample each type and learn a little bit, giving them confidence to put Hush in their local food rotation. I really enjoyed my experience, and will do some research on the different options so I can try some new foods, I have no doubt I can ask my server, but that would have made me uncomfortable making the rest of my party wait while I learn, this was a spur of the moment invite so I didn't have time to do research, totally my problem. I will be going back once I learn more! I enjoyed my food, the Tempura Shrimp roll, we also really liked the smoked salmon roll, the crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice, all was delicious! Very nice place for a date night, if you like sushi you won't be disappointed!

Alright now, this place is a gem!…read more I work with someone who raves about this place, and I finally decided to try it. Walking in, the young lady at the register was so sweet and pleasant. I had an online order and arrived a bit early, she politely let me know there would be a little wait, and I did not mind. I would, much rather wait, than walk in twenty minutes early to see my food just sitting there. It is a small space, but one that comes with warmth. What I chose: Mixed Plate Teriyaki Beef - The first bite, YES! The meat was seasoned so well, I was afraid the teriyaki sauce would overtake the flavor; it didn't. Both, the sauce and the seasoning complemented each other very well. The beef was thinly sliced and free of fat. I can't stand enjoying a bite, and out of nowhere, boom, a piece of fat. I'm not a beef person, but I'm so happy I tried something different. Hamburger Steak: I couldn't wait to try this, it's delicious! The patty is plenty and well seasoned; it isn't heavily seasoned, but well seasoned. It was juicy and not dried out, which sometimes happens. The gravy was perfect, and went perfectly with the meat patty. Next time, I will ask for more gravy and onions. I love grilled onions with meat patties. With my order, I asked for steamed veggies, but received rice instead. I don't eat rice often, but this is the one time I was happy with the mishap. I had a small bit with the gravy and patty, delicious!! Sides: Mac Salad and Rice - I didn't order rice; instead, it should have been steamed veggies. As I said above, the rice ended up being a great mishap; it was perfect with my meat patty and gravy. The mac salad, sadly, I didn't like. It wasn't horrible, it just didn't hit the right taste buds. Chocolate Mac Nut Cheesecake: I only tasted a spoonful of this, but it was good. I wouldn't get it again, for me, it was too sweet. They do have another cheesecake, which looks like a plain cheesecake, with a sauce on top. That, I will try. Spam Musubi: There seems to be more rice than what I am used to, so I cut it in half, and it made for the perfect bite. This was more than enough food; I have plenty to take to work for lunch and will have more to enjoy for dinner. I am so happy I visited. I will definitely visit periodically for a hamburger steak, and I am anxious to try their panko shrimp. Add them to your list, it is a must!!
