    Pork Belly Bao Buns
    Heather R.

Traveling through the area, I stopped because of the good reviews and photos from previous customers. Easy to view menu online, friendly attentive staff, and pretty clean restaurant. I ordered the Bao buns and a tonkotsu ramen to go. Portions were generous. The pork belly on the bao buns and ramen is thin sliced probably for ease of cooking; however it causes the pork to be easily overcooked and lacking that depth of flavor. The ramen broth does have good depth of flavor, but is far from my favorite ramens. The soft boiled egg was overcooked and did not have good flavor. The broth and meat did not reheat well, and even the noodles though I added them cold to hot broth to keep them from overcooking. A+ for the staff, but sadly the food falls flat. I would not return if I was in the area.

    Cucumber roll

The only thing I can really comment on is the sushi. I mean Service was great, but I didn't really ask for much. The main thing I'm looking for is a roll without rice, and they have a great one wrapped in cucumber. I do not recall the name, but it was delicious and beautifully put together. This is the kind of place I would walk in, grab a roll and leave.

The calamari appetizer was delicious; came with this spicy mayo dipping sauce that was great. The fries were also delicious here. The seasoning on both appetizers were great. I got the eel nigiri and it was good- really tender and full of flavor.

Lunch special of sushi roll and gyoza
    Julie M.

My sister and I happened upon this lovely restaurant for lunch today, and now we can't wait to go back again! We both ordered the same lunch special that included half a signature roll of our choice and gyoza. We loved the Texas roll and the gyoza. Next time I want to try the tempura and udon. The service was great and we were served very quickly. A new favorite restaurant for us!

Second, the decor was beautiful and the vibe was giving a tree house. And the reason why you're reading this, the food! Takoyaki 10/10: Very delicious and crispy takoyaki with mayo on the bottom. Seared Hotate: This was the appetizer that shook me and my friends. Wabi House has somehow turned scallops into steak. They were very delicious, tender, and juicy. Unfortunate that it only came with 4 pieces Very delicious ramen with chewy noodles! All of these noodles held their sauces and soups very well. Our only complaint with the general noodle dishes were that they had little meat or only one slice of meat. The slice was so delicious and tender, it fell apart when I bit into it! Unfortunately wish I had more. Shoyu Ramen 8/10: A very good savory standard ramen! Not sure how to describe the flavor but it is just a good salty soup when you want something heartful and salty. Spicy Miso 6/10: Not much to it but spice! It came with no meat and I could unfortunately only taste the spice. Dry Garlic 7/10: I did not actually expect for this to have no soup, I guess I should read better, but this was delicious! If you love garlic, this is for you! It helped with my cravings and was so filling. Didn't get to try any dessert but maybe next time!

The atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. The only other con was the menu is a little difficult to follow so you will probably have lots of questions while your ordering if your not familiar with this type of food. I just asked the cashier what her preference was when it came to soup base and choice of meal and she gave me some excellent picks.

You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. With the ramen, you have the option to customize the type of ramen bowl they offer along with different soup bases. I was happy to see they had a garlic ramen with tonkatsu soup option. There's also a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, other noodle dishes, and desserts. They even have Korean street foods such as tteokbokki, pancakes and buldak stir-fried noodles. Along with my ramen, I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken karaake. The texture of the meat tasted like a meatball or ground chicken. While I liked the ramen in general, the soup was a bit on the salty side and that's coming from someone who likes her food salty. My friend didn't think so and literally slurped her bowl to the last drop. I will likely return to try other items on the menu, especially with it being so close to home. It's nice to have a ramen option nearby. They also offer bingsu which looks to be a smaller to-go version that looks interesting to try.
