There was so much delays due to the amount of people trying to refi and buy homes in this house frenzy Hawaii is having. I was very upset at a point in time but it was from the other end of our HELOC transaction. Lauren was very good at making feel at ease. I was going to not continue due to the delay but like the saying goes, high risk high reward. What I was originally going to do was do a refinance on my condo but what happened was that I could get a lower rate and pay less fees at closing if I went with the HELOC route. I would also get to pay off my mortgage balance and SAVE a ton of money on interest!
