Tried Hawaiian Bros for the first time recently and I was honestly surprised by how good it was. The food came out pretty quick and everything tasted fresh. I got the chicken plate with rice and mac salad. The chicken had a lot of flavor and wasn't dry, and the portions were bigger than I expected. The mac salad was decent too, way better than I thought it would be. It's not some crazy fancy place or anything, but for a quick meal it's definitely worth trying. Prices were fair for how much food you get, and the workers were chill and helpful when ordering. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice too. Poor customer service. They took away swapping veggies for the rice bed. Hey that's fine I'll buy the side of veggies and can you add the meat on top like you guys used to. No, apparently not. I have to do that myself. Our side mac was skimpy & so was the meat in both our meals. Almost $40 for 2 meals, a soda and small side of Mac is kind of crazy. No music and with unfriendly staff it is one of the coldest dine in experiences I ever had. I'm not sure if anyone that thinks this is Hawaiian food has ever had Hawaiian food. It's not Hawaiian food. F's Hawaiian and some of the other ones out there at least taste like the Hawaiian foods you actually get in Hawaii. This was just chicken with the sweetest sauce on it. I genuinely would never go there again if I want 'Hawaiian style food' the macaroni was gross too, nothing like Hawaii. I was breaking down my equipment from DJing & a friend of mine mentioned this spot. I was trying to figure out why the place sounded familiar & it came to mind that a rep from here came to my job a few months back to drop off promo. I'm glad I got to finally check this spot out as I enjoyed the Molokai Chicken. This one came with a little spice and that's what stood out on the menu, outside of the fact that just about every dish they have, I'll try. The chicken wasn't too sweet, light on the spice level & got the job done. The chicken sits on top of rice while a ball of rice is separate on the side. Macaroni salad was the other side & I gave that to my partner (I don't like macaroni salad no matter who makes it so this has nothing to do with theirs). There are sauces that they offer: teriyaki & pineapple bbq. I grabbed one each & used the pineapple bbq sauce a little here & there and it was really really good. They need to bottle that!! I used the kiosk to place my order & the food didn't take long. I'll be back because I wanna check out the spicier chicken (Kilauea Chicken), let alone (again) the rest of the chicken dishes, they also have slow roasted pork, which I know I'd slap some of that bbq sauce on. read more

It's bright and airy inside. You order only on kiosks, but there is 1 staff member that can help and cleans tables, etc. she was SO stellar the day I was there. She brought my food to my table, and gave me a bag and threw away my trash. My spicy chicken was good. I'd like it spicier. But I'd definitely go back just for a dole whip! $20 total was kind of pricey for the amount of food I think. read more

The food is genuinely great and I love it. The problem is the atmosphere and the bombarding for tip money. You walk in and see screens to order, asked for a tip, then you have to take your reciept to somone to get a cup. You fill up the cup yourself and sit down. Its quiet. Someone brings you food in plastic containers on a plastic tray with a plastic fork. You finish and you clean up yourself. WHY was I asked to give a tip? This was our first experience at this establishment. You order from kiosks and it's pretty self explanatory. My wife tried the Luau Pork with macaroni salad and pineapple chunks. I ordered the Kilauea Chicken with macaroni salad and pineapple chunks. First the good. The serving size is more than average. My wife said the pork was good. I tried a bite of her pork and I thought it was delicious. It was nice to see a seasoning flavor on it instead of just pulled pork. My Kilauea Chicken was spot on. It had a very nice "bite" that got exponentially spicier, the more you ate. It was definitely not overbearing spicy. I would definitely order it again. My wife tried a bite and she liked it, but said that it had a tad more of a bite than she likes. My wife and I both loved the pineapple chunks as they were super sweet and juicy. Now, the bad. The macaroni was disgustingly over mayoed. It was so bad that my wife said she wouldn't finish it and would never order it again. I love mayonnaise, but it even turned me off. I wasn't seasoned or had any vegetable accompaniments which would have helped. The next time she is going to just ordered the seasoned vegetables as will I. We will be back as I wish to the Luau Pork as a meal. YMMV with the macaroni salad. The Dole whips were tangy and good as a dessert. read more

They have the best food in town. I love that place, but in the last month, they cannot even get work done. I am sure others are seeing this. I pulled up about a month ago and ordered my typical Honolulu classic. They said I had to wait ten minutes. Forget that. I just left. Just went last night. I noticed the online order line (separate from non-online line) was five cars thick. That's unusual because I might see one car in line. It was their official opening day today and they were really efficient even though there was a really long line. I wish I took more photos. They have quite a big parking lot behind their building. Not sure how this place has less than 5 stars. The people are super nice, it's beautiful and clean, and the food is absolutely bussin'. Donniesha is the queen hostess to help first-timers like myself. The portions of the two protein combo were huge. I got the Kilauea and the Honolulu as my two proteins. It came with a gang of rice, and the best macaroni salad I've ever had. The Kilauea was perfectly HOT and the rice and Mac with teriyaki sauce balances it all out. This is our second visit to Hawaiian Bros. The first visit was the location in Owasso. Once again we were impressed with this new fast food concept. On this visit we ordered the Molokai chicken lunch plate with rice, macaroni salad and the Honolulu Chicken lunch plates with rice and macaroni salad. We also added an extra meat side of Luau pig and a Spam Musabi (spam seaweed wrapped sushi) Both the Molokai and Honolulu chicken were moist and tasty! I really love the macaroni salad here. It's very much like traditional mayo salad but the black pepper spices added to this make it top choice for me. The service was quick at this location and the food was fresh. The only thing we really struggled with on this trip was the luau pork was a little dry, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp too long. Last time I had the pork at the Owasso location I remember it being better. Overall we really dig this Hawaiian fast food restaurant. The modern spin on the decor inside mixed with Hawaiian music adds a special touch. Only thing missing is a window showcasing the ocean views. I ate there on a Sunday 90 degree afternoon. The outside patio was packed with families. Driving into the lot you can see this was well thought out - from the look of the place to the big parking lot, wide drive through lane, good parking and covered patio in front. The entry sign says drive through and doesn't mention inside or patio dining, which makes me wonder if they lose sit-down business. If someone had not told me I could eat inside or on the patio, I wouldn't have known of those options. Maybe 'drive through or eat inside' would be in order? The flyer says 'Home of the plate lunch' with a picture of a white styrofoam 3-divider carry-out container loaded with meat in the front large compartment, rice in one small compartment and macaroni salad in the other small one. So you know this is not a tablecloth and silverware experience, lol. I was intrigued because honestly, who would advertise up front - Hey, we serve your meal in a 3 compartment cheap styrofoam to-go container! LOL but it works and lends itself to the quirky 'island' theme. But they do fill up those 3 compartments! There are 5 chidken options: Huli Huli, Molokai, Honolulu, Kilauea, plus Luau pig and a veggie plate. You can also go with your own mix of the above with a 'mixed plate' option, so they are flexible. I ordered a small size of the Kilauea as it was marked 'hot', which is a sweet and spicy grilled chicken with 'lava hot sauce'. I'm used to hot food so to me, this was medium, and a good choice. Heat on my lips, but could still taste the food. Don't let the 'hot' icon on the menu scare you away as it was a good mix of hot and sweet...yum. I also ordered a large Honolulu chicken so I could take half home to my wife. It was savory with garlic, green onions on top, and sesame sauce. Delicious. For us, having a macaroni salad with it seemed odd at first, but it really complimented the spice of the Kilauea and heavier sesame of the Honolulu. The white rice was a good compliment as well. I asked about fried rice, but after eating it I realized plain white rice is the best to balance the flavors of the chicken . Portions were very good, too much to eat in one setting, the staff very friendly and helpful. I didn't try the 'spam musubi' or Dole soft serve. Having been to Hawaii and eaten from a food truck or two, my first thought was a Hawaiian food truck decided to build a brick and mortar restaurant. Fun place, very clean, open, and not the usual generic Oklahoma BBQ or Asian choices on every corner. It is patterned after Hawaiian food, so if you want something that is in between the usual suspects for a quick meal, this is a good place to eat. Used to be a nice place for quick service and quiet atmosphere. Now they got rid of all their good drinks and the staff is nowhere to be found half the time. The lady who was handing out food was loud and obnoxious. She constantly yelled and didn't even bring me the tray of sauces and napkins, just pointed at the front and said I could grab them myself and continued her conversation with other customers. Being a true fan of F's Hawaiian, I ventured to Broken Arrow to try this new establishment. I'm glad I waited after their opening week as there was only a few cars in front of me in the drive thru. Being from So Cal and loving L& L, this place is pretty good. I ordered the Huli Huli chicken with double macaroni salad. The combo comes with rice under the meat. Sticky rice was, well, rice and sticky. Nothing fantastic. I am not a fan of the macaroni salad. It was way too peppery and I've never had Hawaiian Mac salad that way. It tasted only of pepper. The chicken however was pretty awesome and the little container of teriyaki sauce. The drive thru service was great and efficient. I will go back again and try inside. read more

Food was very good, but serving sizes were very disproportionate. Vale for the money was poor. We ordered: 1) a large mixed plate with Huli Huli Chicken and steamed vegetables (opted for pineapple skewers instead of macaroni salad as the side) and an additional pineapple skewer 2) a classic mixed plate with Huli Huli Chicken and Honolulu Chicken (opted for steamed vegetables instead of macaroni salad as the side) As the photo shows, both plates were the same size. We don't understand why one pineapple skewer (3 pineapple chunks) and steamed vegetables as the second entree on a large plate is roughly $5 more than the classic plate with two chicken entrees. I called and spoke with the manager about the serving size differences. She informed me that having steamed vegetables as the second entree makes the larger plate feel lighter. I attempted to explain that it wasn't the weight of the plate that is concerning, but rather the serving size difference between a large plate and a classic plate. She said that without being able to see the difference, there was nothing she could do. No polite offer for a future discount or other attempt for resolution. I politely advised that I'll know better next time (don't know that there will be as roughly $18 is a lot to pay for the large plate shown). read more
