In short there are a few restaurants located in the same building where consumers can order from any one or multiple they would like and have it prepared there on the spot. Cool, I know. Anywho, we tried the small teriyaki chicken plate each with additional vegetables and a side of pineapple. The meal was very reminiscent to our Hawaii days and we did enjoy it. However, we did have to send the order back twice because they kept getting it wrong. Lastly, I endulged in the pineapple soft serve. It was airy, light, & not too sweet just like I remember it being in Hawaii at the Dole plantation. If you've never been to Hawaii and tasted pineapple soft serve you're in luck! I am a DoorDasher, I go to a lot of restaurants. Many that I go into are just blah places with a not-so-pleasant feel there. From the first time I went into Hawaiian Bros, I felt, may I say, an OHANA spirit. They are so inviting, to the point of making you to either not leave or for sure that you are coming back soon. The man at the front door, Owen, is the absolute friendliest person I have ever met. He asks you if your day has been good, makes sure that the order is right and he has the biggest smile on his face every time I see him. ( which is everyday.) The food is awesome. That is the right word. The macaroni dish is truly a masterpiece. We order it by itself sometimes. The restrooms are always perfectly clean and well stocked. I would surely recommend this place to anyone. If you are wondering where they are, they are across the highway from Baylor University. Worth the trip for sure. read more
