Completely impressed. They have a locker with sandals, a plush robe and a chocolate waiting for you at your arrival. Next, a calm and relaxing area with snacks, tea and water for you to sit while you wait for your therapist and then a rainfall shower with tons of products for you to use to finish it off. A week ago I had my first massage at this location. I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely Hawaiian decor and how clean it was. I was looking forward to this massage. I actual needed this massage as I had kinked my neck and had been trying to work it out for last few days. I was hoping the massage would help. Explaining to my masseuse Juan that I was looking for relief in my neck and shoulder. He stated he needed to go deeper to help me find permanent relief. Great fine. I wanted relief. The massage started out normally however became very awkward and uncomfortable. He had me moving around a lot, grabbing my hip area and pulling quite aggressively, sitting me up at one point while I'm holding my sheet feeling very vulnerable to massage my arms and shoulders and then finally climbing onto the table to straddle me to reach my low back was quite shocking. He had applied so much coconut oil that it had soaked me and the sheets I was using. I've had many massages but this one was by far the most unusual and awkward. I did not leave there feeling refreshed but still sore and now stunned at what just happened. I can't imagine this is a typical method of massaging experience for your clients as this left me more sore than when I came in. Very disappointing. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. read more

This is by far the worst customer service oriented spa. The equipment is kept in disrepair. The Sauna is not kept at a temperature that is conducive to a therapeutic level. The infrared light has been broken for a while The first time I tried the sauna they gave me a flash light. The robes have been stained brown around the neck area. My father had a stroke, and because I did not give them 24 hours notice they charged me $50. I called as soon as they open. I will make sure to tell my Dad next time to wait 24hours before having a stroke. I called the manager because they sent me an email that said 30, and she told me that it was a per hour. She refused to do anything about it. I was giving direction to the last therapist. That I needed a deep tissue to stretch out my muscles so instead of using her fingers in the muscle she lifted my legs. That is not why you get a massage. Take your business somewhere else and you will have a better experience. read more

This was hands down the best massage I've had. I did the Hawaiian experience with a body scrub, mud masque and massage. It was two hours. I've never done a traditional Hawaiian massage where there is no sheet... Only two towels. But Jose was amazing, very professional, explained everything in the beginning before we started and then after each part of the massage. I was given a locker, fluffy robe, and slippers. I took a shower after each step in an amazing shower. I felt so pampered and totally comfortable in the towels. I will definitely be back and will treat friends for birthdays and Christmas! Their health plan is a scam. You think you're paying less but they require you to tip the massage therapist way over 20%. They tell you not to come in, if you're sick. If you call in and cancel due to illness, they cancel your appointment and charge you for your full service. They can then book a walk-in, in your place and they are getting paid double for that hour. Due to their crooked contract, they stole $90 from me when I was trying to do the right thing. Perhaps I should've gone in anyway, and infected the whole place? They then would've had to shut down for five days. I spoke to the manager about my situation, and she could care less. I explained it took me two weeks to get my appointment and if I would've been able to get in when I wanted to, this whole situation wouldn't have happened. She didn't care. When I told her I was canceling my plan with them, she then said you have to use up your credits soon, otherwise they would keep the money and I wouldn't get any services. She also stated they would be charging me for that month. I then cancelled and booked my appointments right away. I now have nothing to do with this business. I can see why some of their great massage therapists left. read more

This was the weirdest experience I've had for a massage. The place is nice and the people are friendly. However the massage beds are super uncomfortable and the sheets are itchy. I asked for deep tissue and did not feel like my massage satisfied what I was looking for. My masseuse was nice. The warm towels they use are itchy and they leave them on far too long so then you have cold washcloths on your face for like 20 minutes. Also after I left I noticed I had 4 bites on my legs that weren't there before. Pay the extra money to go to a massage therapist. read more

First time here for a massage and loved it! I don't get massages very often and have been on the hunt to find a place that will work for when I do decide to get one. From the front desk to the massage therapist, it was amazing and friendly the whole time. I love the atmosphere as it's very calm and welcoming. The robes and sandals they give you are very comfortable, bathrooms and lockers are very clean and the room for the massage is welcoming. I had Shay for the massage and she was incredibly informative, welcoming, and made sure I was comfortable and knew what to expect the whole time. I did the Waikiki massage and she warned me it would be very oily, which it was, but I knew that since she warned me and it was no problem. The pressure and techniques she used were fantastic and I was so bummed when it ended wishing I would've paid for a longer massage. I highly recommend it as I feel so relaxed, came home in a great mood, and will definitely be back when it's time for another massage. Their wellness program prices are reasonable and would do it if I got massages more often but very tempting to do it. Loved it wasn't high pressure and felt they just cared for what was best for me. I had a Maui Relaxation Massage from Victor. It was wonderful. He turned the ocean sounds up for me, so I could imagine I was at the beach being pampered. His rhythm matched the sound of the waves which was so soothing, I walked into a wall when I got up. If "Driving While too Relaxed" was a thing, I should have been pulled over after I left. I really appreciated choosing my own scent for the massage (so many spas use lavender, and I must be the ONLY person on the planet that hates lavender) and the enormous shower with multiple showerheads. Listening to my choice of music in the private, infrared sauna was fun too. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back. I took off one star because I felt pressured, upon check-out, to purchase a membership. That's not the best way to end an enjoyable experience. read more

Wish I new about Groupon before I went in for the first time, masseuse was good, soft light in dark room with relaxing music playing, maybe a nice soft soothing aroma would be great to add in ,.. they have a tip chart of what you should tip them, doesn't go by price goes by minutes ex. 90 minutes $31 and change. , my robe had makeup rings stains,.... but the people there are pleasant , they offer additional services like steam shower and sauna. If you like deep tissue or firm pressure type of massage, this is not the place for you to go. The place is clean, nice and cute and the staff are nice. After reading the reviews, I was so looking forward to this Hawaiian massage experience, however, we didn't enjoy it at all. First of all, my masseuse was a pregnant woman (I am not saying pregnant woman cannot do their job well), just she didn't explain the procedures before it started, and she literately climbed up on my massage table without telling me... so I got very scared when I heard her movements (I was completely naked with only a small towel covering my butt since I was facing down) and starting wonder what kind of weird treatment it was. But she didn't do anything crazy just to rub my back. But the "pregnant woman climbed onto a table" part scared me, I was so afraid she got slipped or whatever would go wrong.... Besides this, her touch and pressure was not as firm as I expect (again, cannot really request a pregnant woman too much hard work)... I knew it's like a "body flow" massage, but I couldn't feel the flow and no connections during the massage... I think they try to be professional and nice there, I like their attitudes but the quality of the massage just not something I would accept for the price I had to pay.... so think twice if you like deep tissue or any pressure point massage... but if you are a fan of Swedish massage, it probably will be a fit for you. read more

I have been going to this Spa for 3 years and have a membership. I feel the quality of the services and staff have changed this year. I was extremely disappointed how my issue was handled at my last visit on July 15. My husband and I went in for massages and I had a facial. The visit was part of his birthday gift and we were meeting friends for dinner later that night which we had to cancel because of how my face looked after my facial. I had a more than normal reaction to a mask the aesthetician used on me. My face became extremely red, hot and got swollen. I felt uncomfortable like I got a bad sunburn. The aesthetician informed me it would subside in 2 hours but my face did not go back to normal until the following morning. The aesthetician, Dakota, who performed my facial needs to properly inform clients of any type of side effects from any product. Especially if a customer informs the aesthetician that they have "very" sensitive skin and is also on the customer's history chart. Also, a facial should be a relaxing experience and the aesthetician shouldn't force products on customers. Immediately after my facial Dakota turned on the bright lights and read a list of products available for purchase that she used on me. In prior facials at this Spa I'm left alone to relax and put on my robe before the lights are turned on. I'm covering my eyes and trying to pull up the very sheer sheets and Dakota did not get the hint that I was uncomfortable. The administrative staff, Acalia, should be properly trained before being left in charge. The whole time she was confused and did not know how to manage my concern. Acalia informed me if I wanted to follow up with my concern I needed to wait until July 25 when the manager returned from her vacation. Again my treatments occurred on July 15. The whole experience was unprofessional, disappointing and no one has followed up with me at all which gives me the impression they do not value my business. All I was told is that my reaction was due to the fact that "my face really needed oxygen." The staff was dismissive and I was not even given any aftercare information. Acalia called the manager, Sara, at their Scottsdale location and informed that Dakota would be sending me a copy of the products she used for my reference, which I have also not received. I was hoping someone would follow up with me before I completed the online survey or this review but no one that I mentioned above has reached out to me. I will be canceling my membership of 3 years and going to a new establishment where the staff is properly trained and have managers available at least the following day to follow up with customers regarding a concern or issue. read more

What an awesome relaxing experience! The spa itself was immaculate the staff and atmosphere superb! My only lament is that I don't live here and they are not in New York. If they were I would be a monthly regular with Cindy. I didn't get to experience the massages but from what family tells me they are addictive. Don't walk run crawl hop however you move get there!
