This place is in the North Shore and have a lot Of beautiful designs in clothing, I like the big waves and the flowers they have on the shirt, they also carry yeti and also Hydro flask in many designs :) the staff is really nice, the store is clean, the great tHing it is also next to Morimotos shave ice :) read more

Actually I was headed to Footlocker but it was not opened (even tho Yelp said it was opened at 10am which I found out from this shop staff that they open at 11am)but this shop was.... Yay! Bought my daughter a pair of slippers (baby slippers) the cashier was really helpful. He even explained that the slippers i had in my hand at the time was made from reusable Items. This store has a lot of different surf or skate items. Clothing, shoes, flasks, etc. located in the middle of kamakana alii on the movie side. Lots of parking available at the mall. read more

I recently had the privilege of shopping at your store at Kamakana Alii....I say privilege as I have NEVER had such awesome, fantastic , and over the top customer service ! Kara was so helpful ! She took the time to find items at other locations , and listened to my concerns over and over and over ! Hahaha I was so unsure what to get for myself ! She asked me open ended questions that made my decision easier! She also told Me about her experiences , which helped tremendously ! She was so kind and thoughtful ! I made a couple trips to the store and each time she was the same .... Perfect! You are very lucky to have her ! I must also comment on Rusty as he also helped try and locate an item that was unavailable ... He is also the epitome of awesome customer service ! For such a young person to be so kind and helpful to an older customer says tons !  Even though I have passed the bikini body , and don't surf.. You are always greeted when you enter the store. They offer their help without making you feel uncomfortable. When you do ask for help they are so eager to assist you. I really enjoy shopping here as opposed to some other surf shops who don't acknowledge you and appear so bothered that you even came in. Your customer service is outstanding. read more

T&C Surf Designs (Ka Makana Ali'i). (3 stars). My rating has nothing to do with the service but for the record I have been here 5 times now and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I would rate Ala Moana and Pearlridge as 4 stars. This is a smaller and more "focused" supply of surf and skate gear as well as hydroflasks and women's wear. I guess I am used to the other locations where they have their T-Shirts in every style, color, and size... This location has the bare essentials but I guess if you're not looking for a particular style or color this store should have the sizes you need. I'll be back to check out the store again I'm sure! But for now I'm just happy I found a cute little phone charger in the form of a pink pig!! I love Mr. Bacon!! :) read more

Love, love, love this location! The staff here rocks!!! I came into this location after seeing the T&C Instagram post featuring the sakura (cherry blossom) Hydro Flasks. I HAD to have the black one! I checked online, but they were sold out. I was hoping to nab one at my closet location. When I arrived, the gentleman (I believe the manager) said sadly they were sold out, but...He'd call around at other stores to see if they had any in stock. I wasn't going to bother, but he said it was no trouble and started dialing another store as we spoke. Sure enough he found me one at the Kahala location!!! He got my information and told me they would give me a call as soon as it came in. And, sure enough a couple of days later he rang my cell and told me it had arrived! He said they could hold it for me for two days, which was very nice. But, I didn't wait a minute! I immediately headed down to the store and picked it up. The staff recognized me as soon as I walked it. They're always so pleasant and cheerful; more like family. I love that! The same gentleman that assisted me before was there again and rang me up while informing me of the hydro flask and T&C logo hydro flask warranties. Very informative! Thanks again T&C Ka Makana Ali'i!!! I will definitely be back for more goodies! PS: I loved the black T&C Sakura Hydro Flask so much that I ended up buying two more in the other color choices! Me and my family went to look for skateboards here and we had barely anyone help us, the lady at the cashier just kept side eyeing my dad and brother as if they were going to steal the boards. We came to the pearlridge location and we already had 4 employees come up to us to assist and offer help or advice in a spand of 5 minutes! And WAY more welcoming vibes, Insane difference. I don't recommend the kamakana location unless you're okay with just being stared at, smh. read more

Saturday nite went to grab a little boogie board for my nephew. They had the right color i was asking for & the girl was very polite with a cute smile. She had the greatest customer service I've came across too. People like her makes the shop for pure .... Ying & yang like the symbol. She asked if I saw still shopping or she cash me out very generous. I told her I'll look around some more for a few more stuffs. As I walk around the shop,the employees were very helpful with their support and services. I grab some waxs stickers n a waxs scrapper. As she cashed me out she had the biggest smile n happy go lucky attitude that made my night. I wish I knew her name to add it but I'm sure she'll be there working again. The number listed here is incorrect. Search Google for the correct number. I am so thankful that they made the exception to place a board that I have been wanting to buy for my kids. The covid pandemic has made outdoor gear very popular...and with good reason! The staff are friendly and the selection in this T&C store may not be as much as the Pearlridge or Ala Moana, however, you can always ask for the staff to check if other stores has an item you are looking for. Not helpful nor friendly staff. Bought a hat yesterday and I was the only one in there. There were 4 young girls working all just standing around the register talking story. I guess business must be good that you don't need to see if a customer needs help with anything. No big deal. Here's where my issue is. When I went to the register to pay 3 of the 4 girls walked away and the last of them made it seem like it was a big deal to ring me up. She asked if I'd like to purchase a bag I politely said no and she took the receipt and put it on my item I just bought and said nothing else. I don't know if she was pissed off that I didn't buy a bag from her, but it sure looked that way to me. I felt like she did me a favor buy having to ring up my sale. I should've just asked for a refund and bought the item elsewhere. I may still do so based on how rudely I was treated. Bottom line no aloha spirit. read more

Customer service is always awesome no matter what location I go to (pearlridge, ala moana, Kapolei), I am always greeted every single time. And this is in the past 10 years I been shopping here. I mostly shop here during the holidays when there's sales and it's always convenient when looking for numerous friends and family members, as well as myself. This T&C location is within the Ka Makana Ali'i Shopping Center in Kapolei, HI. This one is somewhat smaller than most T&C Surf Shop locations on O'ahu. Typical of other T&C places, they carry surf brand apparel, merchandise, clothing, accessories, and many more. They are and will always be known for their t-shirts and surf gear stuff. Nowadays, they are also always known for other things like Yeti / Hydro Flasks and outdoor lifestyle kind of things. I came here on a random weekday after to buy a shirt. It was not too busy as expected. The staff and customer service is pretty good. The prices are decent and seem like on the higher end depending on what brand you guy. They have many name brands of a lot of different items. They always have some sort of sale going on all season long. If you are looking for a long time locally known surf lifestyle kind of store, they have a T&C in Kapolei. read more

I love many of the T&C's on this island. There is nothing wrong with this location or store but because they focus on skate stuff and their store is smaller than most T&C stores, they don't have as much variety of shirts, shorts, hats, etc... Still would come back to this place jus because of the location and service. read more
