Hawk Movers were totally awesome! Pricing is straight and easy to understand with No Hidden Fees. I called around to several moving companies and went with Hawk because of pricing and positive feedback. So, I am leaving this feedback to maybe help someone who can not decide on which company to pick. Moving is hard enough so finding a good moving company should not add to your stress. I was called 3-day before the move to confirm. Then I was called the day of the move to give me a heads up that they were on there way. Once the guys arrived, they were very motivated and courteous. They were efficient but careful with all of my household goods. Nothing was broke and no scratches on the walls. I was in the military for 20+ years so the government paid for all my moves. Hawk Moving is great! My husband travels 4 days out of the week, and I am the person in the household who had to arrange the move. Sometimes as a woman I feel like I am taken advantage of, and I'm not comfortable having men come into my home. But, as soon as I talked to Clay on the phone, I was impressed because he was so nice and friendly. I called several other moving companies, and the men who answered the phones just sounded downright scary! I told my husband I want to go with Hawk, just because I felt they were trustworthy! My gut instinct paid off! The movers were great, clean-cut, and NON SMOKERS! (The last move the movers kept stopping to take smoke breaks!) I had an excellent experience with Hawk Movers. They were punctual, professional, and incredibly hard-working. The movers, Joseph and Jorge, were very accommodating on our long distance move. They took great care of our items. The price was competitive (I got several bids from different companies), and the price was exactly what the office had quoted. They did not try to upsell me or rack on extra fees the day of the move like some other moving companies do. I also felt rest-assured because they are listed on both the U.S. gov and Texas DMV websites, which means they are licensed and insured. Overall, it was a seamless, easy move. My husband and I have moved many times over the past few years. We have used many large van lines and found ourselves unsatisfied by their impersonal services. Hawk moving was wonderful from the beginning to the end of our move. It was the first move we had that we did not have any damage to our furniture or the walls in our home. The movers who moved our furniture and boxes were polite and hard working. They set up furniture in five bedrooms, the office, dinning room, kitchen game room and dinning room and did an amazing job. Having worked with moving companies 17 times i"over the past 35 years, I must say this was the best experience I have had from start to finish. I really liked the fact I was charged an hourly rate plus a trip charge and they was it no hidden fees. The quote was prompt and competitively priced. I also appreciated Hawk Moving for their follow-up emails after my no pressure quote that provided very useful moving tips and what to expect from your move.
