They offer good options for special dietary needs. The vegan sandwich is based on Old Bay marinated tofu, and they are not kidding about that. It is really, really Old Bay flavored. The tomato and avocado livens things up, but honestly the best part of the sandwich was still the sourdough bread, which is fair enough for a bakery. As busy as they were, they still made sure we felt taken care of. There was also a young lady bagging orders who jumped in and out of conversation while working--just as friendly and welcoming. Service like that is refreshing and definitely made an impression. He jokingly asked if he'd see us next weekend... and yeah, we'll definitely be back. The shop was clean, noise level was moderate, and there are a few tables if you get there early or get lucky, but most people seemed to be ordering to go. Lighting was good, and I didn't really notice any music. Price-wise, everything felt more than fair for the quality. They told us everything is cooked fresh daily and they basically go until they sell out--which makes sense given how much business they were doing. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and a great mix of sweet and savory. Honestly, the only regret I had was not trying the breakfast sandwiches--we watched a few being made and they looked serious. Overall, this was an all-around great visit.
