I initially hired them because they told me they would get rid of the rats in our home. They said they would take everything out of our attic and sterilize everything. They did not do that. Nothing but the old insulation was removed and nothing was sterilized. They only did one attic space initially even though we have 3. It looks months and pur stuff was still never sterilized or removed. We called them back recently to place more traps and seal any additional holes. They placed traps and left. They didnt even bother to look for other places to seal. Now they call me up to 6 times a day asking for money. They won't cancel my service. They won't send anyone out to check for holes. They claim the system cancels appointments if I'm not paid up, but why would I continue giving money to people who keep screwing me over?? Do not recommend. read more

UPDATE: I reached out to the email provided and the response was just confirming my appointment. I explained that I was wondering about improvements to the communication system, and the only response was to reach back out to the customer service line that I had issues with. I did reach out and the representative first stated that there were no notes on the file, then when I asked her to add the notes for the next appointments, she said "oh I see them now" and I requested that she read them to me so I can verify. She refused and only responded with "what you requested is on here" I asked why she couldn't read them back to me and she deflected to saying the scheduled appointment will be done. So I am officially leaving Hawx and found a local pest company that lets you speak directly to the technicians and has already proven their communication system. Also they are much cheaper. They have consistently had no to poor communication with the technicians. I leave notes service requests with the representatives and almost every time the technicians come out and have no idea what service they are providing or what they are supposed to be doing. I always request a call ahead and they rarely do that. The next rep always apologizes and says they will notate the account and the. The same problem happens. For the price it is very annoying. The technicians are nice and knowledgeable but the lack of information sharing wastes so much time and delays what would otherwise be simple projects. read more

Knowledge or honesty of salesperson could improve. I was repeatedly told that the service is eco-friendly, non-toxic & safe for myself, pets, & garden. I was told it was all natural until I researched myself & 2 synthetic ingredients came up. Then he asked the technician to show me the chemicals. Hawx own website says that a vegetable garden needs to be protected in several ways because if the chemicals get on the garden, the vegetables are unsafe for consumption. This is already off to a bad first impression. I feel I was told lies to make a sales contract. read more

My landlord uses Hawx to help keep critters and pests at bay in our home. We moved in about 6 months ago and Hawx had done a great job overall servicing our home. Their team is responsive and personable, however, Todd Saylor shines brighter by miles. Todd has serviced our home a few times, and I personally requested him to come back for a reoccurring issue that others were not putting in the time to assess. Todd is thoughtful, kind, extremely knowledgeable and patient, but most of all he is not satisfied until the problem is resolved at the source and won't just leave the issue with a bandaid fix. I've been with Hawx for 6 years (since 2020), and the service quality has clearly declined. Up until 2023, technicians were knowledgeable and thorough, but since 2024 most visits feel rushed and inconsistent. (My 3 stars are for few technicians good technicians) Reminders now come the night before instead of in advance, and basic services like treating basement/garage baseboards are often skipped unless repeatedly requested. Some technicians don't even bring the necessary materials. On one visit, no granules were applied despite the spreader appearing full, and a simple request to replace a glue board was denied as technician didn't had any even i was the first call of the day for him. Overall, the service no longer matches what's advertised. I've already renewed, but if this continues, than we have to thinkof alternatives. I hope Hawx takes steps to improve training, accountability, and overall service quality and we not need to look for alternatives after getting service from Hawx for 6 years. read more

We were told the products they use are "natural" and "safe" ...found out they use toxic insecticides that are NOT natural or safe. Labels give warning like: "Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid breathing spray mist or vapor. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling, and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic skin reactions in some individuals." "Causes moderate eye irritation. Harmful if absorbed through skin, swallowed, or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist." "This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds if bees are visiting the treatment area." If we had known they were going to be spraying toxic chemicals on our lawn we wouldn't have signed up with them. Talked to a customer service person...they don't care that they gave us misinformation or that the toxins are bothering us. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! read more
