We found this place closeby to an Airbnb we were staying in and now we have visited 5 times during our last 3 trips! The pretzels are delicious and they always have a new flavor of ice cream or a food item on special! We've tried the strawberry, blueberry and peach soft serve already! (Peach is my fav so far!) They do meat filled pretzels as well as pretzels sticks and various treats! They also have hard ice cream and food on their menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My little one enjoys the pretzels, ice cream and the fun playground and pond with ducks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The playground is great and they also have little machines where you can grab some food for the ducks (the fish eat them too !).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The general feel and vibe is so comforting and warm - my husband loves going there for that reason alone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathrooms are spacious and the women's bathroom has a changing table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have information for tourists and local things to do as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of the best parts about Hayloft is their mission - they work to support at risk youth in the community and all the people who work there are volunteers! The ladies were baking them right in front of you! They were juice and yummy with cheese! They're served warm which was great on a rainy day. We had the campfire fries & the Roast beef & cheddar pretzel sandwich. The RB & C sandwich had plenty of meat & the pretzel dough was crusty on the outside buy nice & chewy on the inside. I should have ordered a sauce to go with it...bbq or a honey mustard would add an extra tastiness to it. The campfire fries have pulled pork, cheese sauce, bbq sauce & sour cream & green onions on them. Could have had a little more of the meat, but they were still tasty. For dessert we had the fresh peach sundae which had soft serve vanilla ice cream pilled high with peaches & whipped cream. So good!!! I have been here twice (never realized where it was located until a friend brought me). I love the pretzel logs. Today I tried the cheesesteak pretzel log which was flavorful and then my husband and I shared a waffle cone. It was busy because it was a Saturday night on a warm, summer day, BUT the lines move quickly. There is plenty of parking - there is overflow parking beyond the pond. I highly recommend this restaurant as it contributes to the well-being of her youth. All services are run by volunteers graciously giving up their time in the service was exceptional. I don't know why it took me so long to find out about this place but so thankful I did! Since my first visit we've been here several times, sometimes traveling the distance from Landisville to New Holland just to pick up one of their pretzal logs. At today's gas prices that's saying alot! A pretzal log is like an explosion of flavor in your mouth. With a crispy outside and gooey inside it comes stuffed with different ingrediants. There's cheesesteak, pizza, chicken and ranch, and the list goes on. The corse sea salt adds the perfect pop of saltiness. My personal favorite is the chicken and ranch. The pretzal log is one of several pretzal items they offer and in addition to freshly made soups, salads, and boxed to go items. And who can forget ice cream! The inside has a log cabinet feel and upper and lower dining. Outside there's picnic tables, a pond with gazebo for feeding the ducks, and a kids play area. The entire property is super clean and well maintained. The employees are Amish/Mennonite and very friendly. Across the street is a farm stand selling fresh produce and plants. It's a short drive off Route 23 in the heart of Amish Country. A must visit for tourists and locals alike and sure to be a favorite amoungst your youngest family members. read more

It's too bad no ones reviewing this place, this yelp page is for the new business, the old business yelp page is showing the business closed which it did, now it's completely different, no more animals which is too bad but things change. The place looks fantastic outside, my wife & I went to the walk up window and what I saw inside looked really nice, very open now, before it was stuffed with shelving and all the stuff they sold, now it looks mostly food driven. I knew that Hayloft candles was gone which my family had been going to for more years then I can remember, but we thought we would try this anyway, especially since we go to the stand across the street anyway.
