I had just gone to get coffee and decided I wanted a bagel for lunch. I was with my partner and we decided to give this place a go instead of our other bagel spot! I was impressed with how many bagels they had already sold through. Luckily they still had my favorite Cheese bagel. In addition to Chive cream cheese which is my only go to! As a NYer living in HB, their lack of urgency in providing food for their customers is un real. Currently it's 6:30am and have been waiting for a pre ordered sandwich for now 40 minutes. They put way too much sweetened condense milk in their Vietnamese iced coffee. And their food isn't that great of quality. Breakfast sandwiches have eggs cooked in a microwave. We drive past this place all the time, but today decided to actually go inside and try the food. Fresh and DELICIOUS bagels and croissants (The lox and cream cheese bagel is marvelous). Fresh squeezed juices and custom drinks made to order. Very friendly staff. They also had it decorated for the holidays with a beautiful tree and wall decor. It was a pleasant surprise how lovely everything was. I think we found a new secret hidden gem and will definitely be going back to try other goodies. read more

Ok... So HB Bagels has such a special place in my heart. It's family owned and run and they are the nicest and sweetest family. I mean when I say family run, even young kids are working the counters and taking the orders. I love that and as questionable as labor laws go, I will always support businesses that are family owned and operated. These kids will grow up learning about hard work, waking up early, and the value of money. Are the bagels good? Yes Service fast? Very Smoothies? The kids loved them Coffee? Average Customer Service? Fantastic Price: Decent Yea, you can go to Starbucks or Bagelmania but why, when you can come here and get pretty much the same thing but you'd be supporting a family rather than a big business. I am from the Jersey/New York, so bagels in California don't compare at all. HOWEVER, I find these bagels to be pretty decent. They are also bigger than most bagels so that's a plus. They also have a good variety of flavors, making them a real bagel shop (in my book at least). Coffee is decent too, all a self serve set up on the side. I haven't tried much else but will definitely be going back for more! read more

Worst bagel sandwiches ever! I ordered two egg, cheese & sausage Bagels sandwiches with a Jalapeño & Cheese roll and an egg bagel. Both sandwiches were made with the wrong bread. They used a plain roll and a plain bagel and the sausage wasn't a whole patty like their picture. They cut up the sausage in little pieces (see attached pic).
