The lady, most likely the owner was super sweet, welcoming, and helped me select the best treat for my craving. I got the bear claw, it was filled with apples and plenty of sweet cinnamon. The dough surrounding the the goodness was light and fluffy with the semi burnt flavor you would get from an apple fritter. It was absolutely perfect. They offer assorted donuts/pastries and their signature donut is the "people donut" which sells out on some days by 10 AM. My favorite donuts are their chocolate bars and their glazed donuts. The coffee is good, as well the Thai tea boba beverages from their well stocked refrigerator. They also have other cold drinks in their fridge to pair with your donut. I stopped by the other day to try and help our local businesses during this pandemic. Picked up 2 doughnuts and they were ok nothing special. I really didn't like the fact that it's cash only! For $2.70, you'll get a nicely sized croissant that lacks the fluffyness expected, but it's still a passable one. The proportions of the filling were off for I would've liked to see more ham and swiss cheese inside. What makes this place unique, however, are their People Donuts! Yes, donuts shaped like people! ($1.55 each) It's an amusing concept that attracted the inner child in me, but the execution of the donut was poor. The dough was a bit stale and the chocolate/sprinkles are layered a bit too thick making for a distasteful imbalance after every bite. ---- Conclusion: If I was in the area, I wouldn't mind giving this place another shot. They serve old fashion donuts, cake donuts, shakes, and even ice cream. Perhaps everything would've tasted better if they were fresh out the fryer. But if the old, stale people-donut was any indication of how the other donuts were, I "donut" think this place will last. I can't write a super comprehensive review about this place but I will update as I try more donuts/ pastries. This place is within walking distance of my house, right next to Rita's. It's nice that there's a donut shop nearby because I crave donuts quite a bit. The reason why I can't give a comprehensive review is that I came here around 4 pm one afternoon because I just REALLY wanted something sweet. I was disappointed to find that there were barely any donuts left. TIP: they make them fresh so come early in the morning to get the flavors you want and more options!!! However, I got a strawberry cream cheese croissant. The lady was super nice and warmed it up for me! It was very buttery but the perfect amount of sweetness in the strawberry filling. Bad experience and bad way to start my Saturday morning. I walk to D & N Donuts to buy 4 donuts, when I try to pay they tell me they only take cash. I look in my wallet and I only have $2. Who doesn't take ATM transactions? So they direct me to go use the ATM next door at Chase Bank. Because I don't bank with Chase they charge a fee of $3 dollars to use their ATM, so instead of walking home I pay it and get my $20 cash. I then go and pay cash for my 4 donuts. When I get home I find out they only put 3 donuts in my bag! Now is this a way to start your weekend? I'm not going there again! read more

I've gone to this shop for years because it's very close to my house. The lady who works there is sweet & kind-hearted. The plain croissants, creme-filled doughnuts & Thai tea boba are my favorites.
