This is a hard place to find as it is hidden from the parking lot. There is plenty of outside seating but the inside is a full blown bakery that has an amazing cinnamon roll. I've visited their place for coffee and it's been excellent , but I was treated to their hot breakfast items at the HB chamber of Commerce meeting. I never knew they served hot breakfast. The eggs bites are excellent, the croissant breakfast sandwich are delicious. Since I'm protein focused, I'll add them to my list for a hearty breakfast and the perfect meet up place. Their shop is located next to Raising Canes. There isn't much seating in the shop but they have outdoor seating. The service has always been excellent and the cafe is very cute and quaint. Ventured into this adorable little coffee shop on Sunday. It is slightly challenging to find because it's located in a big shopping center but it's sign is on the street not in the parking lot so it took some navigating to find. Once you know where it is, though you have plenty of parking and you'll be happy that you made it! It's just adorable with cute friendly local vibes inside. It is not a large coffee shop so it's not the type of place where you're gonna bring your laptop and do work all day. I tried some sort of delicious cherry pastry that I'm not sure of the name, but it was very yummy and it was in their refrigerator. They have a little refrigerator that is stocked with a bunch of delicious homemade goodies. They also have a bakery right there on site where they bake everything including custom cakes. This place was a nice surprise. It is located beside the All Star Dance Center and, where the Raising Cane's Chicken shopping center is on the cross streets of Adams and Brookhurst. It's a bit difficult to see, as it's literally a store front located on Adams street, towards the far back side of the dance center. I think twinkle lights inside the store window for night and an LED tv screen flashing there's a coffee cafe there. I would rate service here as "top care" if you have Terra catering to you. Like the word, she caters to your needs and is enthused about working, engages you in conversation and wants you to return. We ordered hot drinks and my 13 year old requested for a warm, Vanilla Steemer (warm milk with 2 pumps of vanilla syrup and whip cream) while I opted for their popular coffee drink, the Coast Oak Mocha where drinks are customized to your preference. Their drinks are well made, tasty and such a comfort! Their baked goods there are all homemade and baked fresh early in the morning. We tried their banana cake and oh my gosh, It was so soft and tasty for such a hand sized cut. No seating inside the cafe really, there are bar stools to wait for your order. Rather, you can sit and eat beside the store in their quaint, outdoor patio with twinkling Christmas lights. It is fairly large and definitely can sit a high school or college small group. The prices are affordable. This place takes Card and exact cash for example if your total is $7.50 and you give them $8, they don't have the change so pay exact cash or tip them the extra (Huntington Beach is a cash based area so they try to accommodate that as well). Would we return? Absolutely because the drinks, baked goods are homemade and can be heated as well as Terra made us regulars now. I was so pleasantly surprised with their menu selection along with baked goods. But what really stood out and will be remembered is the woman behind the counter. I regret not getting her name but she was incredibly sweet, kind and friendly. She offered up so much info on all the coffees and about her baked goods and it was all relayed in an engaging way. It was my first time trying this coffee place and I must say that it won't be my last! I wish I knew about this place earlier. Parking was easy to find. There were a couple of seats inside, but additional tables and seats are placed outside. What really caught my eye when I entered was the selection of tasty-looking baked goods which included cinnamon rolls and cheese danishes with a selection of dessert bars and muffins to choose from. The barista, who is also one of the owner's son, was very kind and helpful. I was having trouble deciding between cinnamon roll and cheese danish. He suggested getting a cheese danish and gave me a card that would get me a free cinnamon roll during my next visit! The cheese danish was one of the best danishes I've had; the pastry bread was fluffy and my favorite was the streusel on top! I also got an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte; it's on the sweeter side but that's how I like my coffee. It was a good balance of sugar and caffeine! Highly recommend, 10/10! We got their regular hot coffee which was very good. My boyfriend got the "Tahoe" aka their version of avocado toast with sliced eggs. I got the "Mendocino" aka egg white muffin bites with sausage (optional), veggies, and cheese. We also shared the "Joshua Tree" aka french toast sticks with syrup, in addition to their baked zucchini bread, both made from scratch. All food was delicious!
