Back on the prowl to do my laundry...well I decided to stop by here at 0600 hours. What a pleasant surprise it's clean and the attendant shows up at 0700 on time very friendly staff. The machines are great and reasonably priced. It was my first time so I used the rear dryers later discovered they are the quick dry perhaps a little pricier but they dried quick and good. Decent concept, but the execution needs work. Unfortunately, most of the washers were out of order when I came in, which made it frustrating to get anything done. The Bluetooth feature is a cool idea, but it only kind of works -- sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. Also, the washer door seals looked pretty gross and could definitely use a deep clean. That's not something you want to see at a place meant for cleaning your clothes. Overall, it's convenient if everything is working, but maintenance and cleanliness need improvement. Used to love the place and would come every week, now before 10 the cleaning people come and they make you feel uncomfortable for being there and washing if you're there by like 8pm or 9pm. they're just trying to hurry and leave when the place says last wash @9pm and closes @10pm lol hope the owner changes things or they will lose more customers. I've been spending about $100 a month here for the last 3 years. Since that time there have been changes to owner/manager and now the place only offers COLD washes. You can press hot & warm but the washers that are able to be stopped mid-wash (the smaller ones) only produce cold water. The larger washers lock once started so there is no way to confirm the actual water temp. I have had issues getting the armpits clean in my shirts and now I know why! If you want a HOT or even WARM water wash, go elsewhere. Bummer too bc it's a nice little spot if they would provide water temp options. read more

If I could give -0 stars I would. Came for the first time this morning and never coming again. The washing machine barely wet my clothes and didn't dispense any of the laundry detergent. No workers were here and called the number but of course nobody answered. I want my money back! Definitely NOT satisfied with this service! read more

It's been 30+ yrs since I went to a laundromat and I was like Helen Keller when I arrived. There was an employee there that was so helpful. They have washers that can handle up to 70lbs. They have an app that you can use to pay and vending machines that have EVERYTHING that you may need for both laundry & snack. read more

The equipment is modern and clean. always seems to be people in attendance that have the authority to help and certainly the willingness to do so this is my favorite local laundry. when possible an investment in debit or credit card authorizations would be helpful read more

On here it's says closes at 11 on google it says 12 but here I sit at 945 fuming in the parking lot after being treated like dog shit by the Mexican cleaning lady that doesn't speak English. Could not be anymore hostile and rude asf .... It definitely was not the language barrier there is a way to convey that you're shutting down at 10 PM even though it's not even 10 PM without yelling and pointing and yelling some more repeating 10 over and over and over with NO face mask. Update: Patrick of HB Laundry, I think he's the assistant manager, chose to make a snarky comment rather than say they'd try to have common sense safety guidelines in place in their business. There's this thing called COVID-19 and this laundry is the kind of place SPREADING IT. Several customers had NO MASK, including the guy who was in the place for nearly 90 minutes reading a book while his clothes washed AND the lady folding her laundry for 30 minutes with NO MASK. It's hot, steamy, and little air flow, the perfect place to spread germs. I did not see a "face masks required" sign, but maybe there's one taped in a window. Regardless, there should be several obvious signs saying masks are required, and the employees should be taught how to politely but firmly ask ALL customers to wear a mask. With all the unmasked faces, it felt like walking into a covid19 spreading party. Other than diseases floating in the warm, moist air, the place has good equipment and is "clean". read more

My normal laundromat was jam-packed, so I came here. I have to say that I'm kind of disappointed. The bathroom is for employees only! Which is BS because if you're here for hours doing laundry, what are you expected to do? Hold it? Drive somewhere else and hope they'll let you use their facilities? Oh wait, walk across the street to CVS! I expected more for driving all the way from Santa Ana to HB. I probably could have found a comparable laundromat closer to home that had a restroom available to paying customers. The laundromat is decent. I have a big comforter that doesn't fit in my top loader washing machine at home so I needed a large capacity front loader and they have them. The employees were super friendly and helped me with the instructions on how to use it. Everything was super clean and employees were cleaning everything the whole time which is great to see. They're open late so it's perfect for people like me who put off their to get their chores until late at night. There's a fun little coin game if you're bored and a liquor store next door if you need a snack or drink. Make sure to come in before 10 because that's when the last load is allowed to start. My dryer broke and my family was forced to quarantine for possible Covid exposure!! I couldn't call the repair man and my laundry was beyond piling up. I called Pat and the next day, my 4 plastic bags full of gross teenager laundry was picked up, laundered, folded and delivered the day after. While dealing with the periodic frustration of my washer or dryer going out, there is the silver lining of having HB Laundry right around the corner. This laundromat is clean and the gal running the Fluff n Fold is friendly and helpful with questions about the machines and the payment app. They have a change machine too in case you prefer quarters. Lots of machines of different sizes and I've never had to wait for machines. Bottom line - I groan a lot less when my machines break knowing I can at least get my laundry done quickly and comfortably here!! read more

I have never been treated so poorly as a customer than this location. The floor is dirty, machines are pricey and quality of service varies dramatically depending on which machines you use. The bathroom which is about as sanitary as a gas station costs 25 cents to use and they didn't provide toiletseat covers, hot water to wash hands or toilet paper. Once more customers arrived, they locked up the bathroom. Let's get this clear, a return customer builds the business not deceptive pricing for washers, cutting every perk off to customers (like paper towels or a restroom to "paying customers"), and questionable signage all over the place scolding customers of what not to do. read more

Cheaper cost sometimes = cheap machines. The Maintenance here leaves something to be desired, missing dryer door, scented laundry pellets in dryer. My load of clothes only filled the dryer halfway and yet the machine continually cycled off. It could be worse and yet again it could be better. read more

I am so thankful I found this laundromat. After recently moving to HB, I was without a washer/dryer and was looking for the right laundromat to tide me over. After going to the horrifying one by Rite Aid, I tried this location as it was only around the corner from me. Extremely clean inside, lots of load sizes to choose from and the cost for a 3 load washer ended up being about $2.50. So, I ended up washing and drying for under $5. They have a little store to purchase laundry soap if you don't have any, a television and vending machines. Most laundromats I go into make me cringe because of how unkempt, dirty and somehow very '90s they can be. This one was fairly modern and well kept. Will definitely go back again! It was also conveniently located next to a bakery, hair salon, Subway and a 711. So, I got a snack AND got my hair cut while my clothes were in the wash cycle. Didn't feel concerned about leaving my laundry unattended here, the staff seem like they really keep an eye on things. read more

I enjoy coming to this laundry mat for a few reasons; one, it's clean, two, the staff is very friendly, there, and most importantly (if you're actually trying to get the best service) the machines work and they work well! I've been coming here for years (on and off) and they've added new and bigger machines, new countertops, new change machines too! When I'm too busy (aka too lazy) to do my own laundry, they have the best fluff and fold service. They are courteous and professional and my bed covers are clean and they are careful not to shrink them. They wrap them in plastic so you can take them home without struggling with a huge bundle.
