They ended up upgrading the speakers because they did not have the one I ordered I stock. I must say that the system blows away my HT system. I previously attempted to use my expensive Hime Theater system for Karaoke and it just doesn't sound the same. Furthermore, my old microphones had a lot of feedback. The Singtronic wireless mics do not have any feedback issues at all. The technology has improved a lot. I liked it so much that I am now buying a portable system as a gift. They ship from LA to San Jose so no need to drive to LA to purchase.

No good-faith attempt, nor any attempt, was made to make it right even after my spending into five figures with them at this shop. I spoke to a different person each time I inquired about the problem and each sounded unconcerned. I got the brush off. They couldn't even take it in for a look towards repairing it (with me offering to foot the bill). In addition, and perhaps most importantly, the 3 product reviews I've submitted to their site about this unit have been not been posted which leads one to the assumption that only the positive reviews of their products are posted. Which, of course, means the whole review section of their website is potentially untrustworthy, misrepresentative and useless. The cynic might say "Of course!" And I would have said that also, but I thought this place was different. It's not. Kevin's an expert salesman and pitchman, but save your duckets and keep moving.

My system is a pair of their bookshelves (HB1-MK2) and an STF-1 subwoofer (sadly no longer made by…read morehim). The speakers are absolutely articulate and never bright, despite having a horn around the Tweeter. The sub is extremely rhythmic. Not the lowest or the loudest--it's not meant to be-- it's an 8-in down firing model. By the way, it's on a subwoofer isolation platform on a wooden floor. (I'm obsessive about using subwoofer isolation platforms. This thing sounds so smooth when it's sitting on one.) 100% Hsu sound from top to bottom for such a reasonable price. Driven by a modest Onkyo 5.1 amp. Best system I've ever had and it gets used daily for playing both music and movies. I don't think I could get tired of it. I love my Hsu stereo.
