I made an appt with Ronnie after reading a great review from another customer with curly hair. I have never liked my curls because they are frizzy and have different coil sizes so it's frustrating. Well! When I got home and tousled the product out a bit I was shocked at how amazing my curls looked. I am hopeful that I can make them look as good as Ronnie did. She gave me a great cut and turned me onto some new all natural products. The salon was clean and everyone was super nice. No salon snobs here. It's a bit of a drive for me but I think I found my new salon. Thank you ladies!

I had to come back for a second time because how well Myrna worked on my hair! Going through a period of hair loss she was able to give my hair lots of volume! Today I was able to fit in last minute with Jose and he did amazing with the the cut and blowout! I have a lot of awkward hair growth coming in and he gave me a lot of good feedback with washing and styling my hair! Everyone is so nice and the facility is beautiful, I will forever be coming back for my hair needs!

I had stumbled upon Head Case Hair Studio on google maps and decided to book a same day appointment for my daughter. When we arrived we were greeted with the front desk receptionist friendly only thing was Idk if it was me that I didn't hear her or she didn't mention it but we didn't get a complimentary drink which was fine no biggie, as you can see my daughter's hair was matted and so tangled because she hates brushing her hair, our stylist was Lauren he was great very caring not rough with her hair she got her hair washed cut and blow dried she wanted to go super short, we absolutely love the outcome and my daughter fell Involve with her hair I can't wait to book future appointments with Lauren for my daughter and I. My first time having my hair done by this place. Just not happy with my hair color..done by Jose. The color is terrible lowlights and highlights. I showed him a pic n I knew it wouldn't be exactly the same as the pic but some what like it. He said sure I can do this!!! He was not very friendly. And was pretty rough doing my hair. He gave me the impression of not loving his job! Am very sad that i had a bad experience. Never ask me do you like it or anything! I would never recommend anyone to him. Now I have to go pay more money to get it fix! The first pic is red hair is what it turn out to be. The second pic is what I was looking for! I've been coming to this salon since I moved to the Keller area in 2018 and have generally had good experiences. I've only ever done cuts and blowouts as I don't color my hair and haven't tried any of their treatments. For starters, I love the studio itself: gorgeous, fun, and always makes me feel like I'm getting pampered. The stylists are always great. Since my work schedule is so erratic, I generally don't get to see the same stylist each time. Everyone I've worked with has been great: very attentive and willing to work with me to get my hair looking great again. I'm pretty attached to my long hair, so I've really appreciated having stylists who take this into consideration and check with me before cutting more off. As for the blowouts, I've had two done here and both were fabulous. The prices here are pretty reasonable. Generally, for cutting my long hair, it costs me around $90 after tips. Definitely recommend checking this place out for a cut or blowout! You won't be disappointed.

They do an amazing job! I love the ambiance here, it's very chill and they get bonus points for having cucumber and lemon water. I also love that their range or products are all natural. I always look forward to my haircuts and blowouts.

Got the WORST hair cut of my life! I asked stylist to cut two inches off and add long textured layers. The layers were SO choppy. Look at the pictures. I wish I was exaggerating. I ended up having to come back in a second time to have the long choppy layers fixed but to be able to get my hair to look somewhat decent they ended up needing to cut six inches off. I was honestly heart broken. It took me years to grow my hair out. The first hair styles completely ruined my hair. The second stylist that fixed it did an ok job but that doesn't change the fact that I had to chop six inches off my hair to fix it. I believe I should have received a complete refund since this salon ruined my hair and it will take me years to grow it back out. Will NOT be back to this studio again.

Parking: Plenty of parking. My appointment was at 9 AM, and I was able to park right in front, but there was still plenty of parking available that doesn't require a long walk. No steps to enter the building other than a small step up on the sidewalk from parking. Arriving: I was greeted and checked in for my appointment in a friendly and welcoming manner. I was asked to have a seat on one of the white bench style seats at the front. The stylist was respectful of my time and started my appointment on time. I was offered something to drink when I first arrived, but I did not want anything at that time. I was not approached again for a beverage option. Appointment: The seating is comfortable and didn't leave me feeling like I was being stuffed into a small swivel chair that isn't sturdy like some salons use for clients. As a matter of fact, that seating is one of the reasons I chose this salon in the first place. I was in to get a half up-half down style and full makeup. My stylist was Sheyanne. Styling/Makeup: Sheyanne was incredibly attentive and talented. I enjoyed her positive attitude and genuinely friendly way of connecting with me on similar interests when chatting. I gave her the freedom to do what she does best, and she did not disappoint me! My skin is dry, and I normally stay away from makeup because it can look cakey, but she explained how to solve that problem. I even purchased a few products for home use, but she was in no way "salesy" with me. Overall: They have a referral program and a loyalty program, which was explained to me as I was paying. They offered to make a future appointment for me. I do plan to go back to see Sheyanne for some coloring. Highly recommend this place!

After seeing all the positive reviews of the salon I was very hopeful for what they could do for my hair. I recently got 4 inches cut off, but my cut wasn't done well at another salon. I cut my layers myself and was very proud and happy with how they looked, but I made an appointment at Head Case just so I could have a stylist double check all my ends to make sure I didn't miss anything and to help blend and lighten up all my layers. My stylist was Erika, one of the more seasoned stylists at the salon. I explained to her what I wanted but she just hacked at my layers and destroyed any nice lines I had made. I went in with a beautiful clean cut and left with a haircut that I regretted and am needing to let grow out- the layers are too short and choppy and she chopped every bit of length off my sides even though I repeatedly told her I just didn't want any holes or gapes in my hair. Update: It was actually misunderstanding between me and Erika not that she doesn't know how to make clean cuts. She thought I wanted a wispy cut rather than just my layers blended. My second experience only days later was even worse. I scheduled a balayage with Lexi. My hair was beautifully healthy and full, soft and a nice healthy untouched brown. I left the salon with a fully bleached head of hair with a green hue to it. My healthy hair, that just got every bit of dead end off is now bleached, dry and stripped of any natural color almost all the way to my roots. I cannot fathom a stylist doing this to someone's gorgeous healthy hair. I am horrified and only hope they can somehow fix this. Lauren was able to fix my hair.

The ladies at Head Case Hair Studio are the best! I've been going to see them for my bi-yearly haircuts for a while (I've seen Lexi and Veronica), but then I also had Rissa do my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/10/2020! We did a consultation (free) to talk, a bridal makeup trial, and she came to my house the day of to do my sister, my mom, and my hair and makeup. She also was flexible when my 2 sis-in-laws also wanted to add eyelashes. It was so nice to find a flexible, professional, HMUA for my wedding that only cost the same as if I went in to get hair/makeup done on any other day! I've been going here for about a year in a half and became super bummed when they reopened after quarantine to find my stylist Chrissy was no longer there. I have a pixie cut and she did magic. I was recommended to another stylist and after 2 different tries I was just NOT happy with her cuts. This time going in I had a very specific time/date I was able to come in and I selected who was available with their app. Let me just tell you this ended up being the best thing ever for me! Thank you hair gods for putting me in Lauren's chair. He is amazing!!! Ladies if you have a pixie I highly recommend going to him. I gave him a few requests of what I wanted and man he hit things out of the park. It's my favorite cut I've had since going pixie and I've never had so many compliments from everyone. I absolutely LOVE this place. I come to these guys several times a month for a blowout. I have had no less than 10 different stylists and ALL of them have done a great job!! I have gone to several different places, including more expensive options, and never had the quality and or SERVICE that I get at this salon. I have even forgotten an appointment and or thought it was later, and they gave me options to still get my hair done! They even offered to text me before each appointment in the future! LOL!! Seriously, when I walk in they know who I am and that was the case probably after my second appointment!! AMAZING!! read more

So yesterday I went to get my hair done by Jose. And let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience!!! Ive been scared in the past and Jose is a life saver!!!! He made my request a reality, and was very helpful with teaching me how to take care of my hair at home and in between appointments. He is a very honest stylist and very professional. I wish i had the b4 and after pics he took because wow...... also everyone in the shop is soooo nice and welcoming, the vibe in there is so relaxing and like your with friends. When I first moved to the DFW a year ago I decided to give this salon a try because of the reviews. After visiting this salon 5 times, I have seen 5 different stylists because 4 of the 5 have quit and the one that is still there turned my roots red when I went in for an all over color for dark brown (when my hair was already brown, was just going a shade darker). Yes, the products they use are nice (which is what kept me coming) and the girls I saw for the most part did a good job. But I think the very high turnover rate says a lot about the salon and is very frustrating! I feel like this should be known as a deciding factor for anyone contemplating on giving this salon a try. read more

I ONLY trust Sabrina with my hair. This is my second and final round of bleaching(by Sabrina).As you can see I had uneven levels of blonde due to previous red hair color,and she got me to that EVEN platinum blonde just like I asked. She loves her job and is great at it!! read more

Gorgeous location, gorgeous people, gorgeous HAIR!!! I am a regular at a high end salon in Dallas and came here on whim since family is close by. WOW. I'm making this my new salon. I don't have anything negative to say about my stylist but an inch trimmed off and a couple curls should by no means cost $65.00. When I booked my appointment it stated $45 and up. Well a $20 difference is not in the same ballpark. No product was used and it's not like I had any color done where price would be gauged by my hair length. I'm afraid I won't be returning at those prices. read more

Greys were not covered by stylist, so I went back in to have them touched up. Someone else colored my hair, hair dye was all over my face. They didn't even try to take it off my face. I tried to do it with my towel. The black dye was all over my forehead neck and ears. I don't mean a little I mean a lot. Not sure if they were upset bc they had to fix my color that the I had already paid for and left a generous tip to later find out the color didn't even take. I WILL never go back to this place and unfortunately I have recommended so many people here. Well, needless to say... stay away bc if you aren't satisfied and they have to fix something you get treated like crap. Even when you pay for the services. Hate writing this review bc I think things could have been handled a whole lot better on their part. read more

It's my birthday next week so I decided to treat myself. I got full highlights by Kristina and a blow out by Brandy. First off I spoke with Kristina about my goal haircolor. I'm going from dark to light so it will be a process. She answered all my questions and was very informative on the steps to lightening my hair and why she was doing this or that. I'm also not native to Fort Worth and she was very friendly and gave me some local information, so I now have new places to explore. She went above and beyond and I am very pleased with the color!! Afterwards Brandy did my blow out and curled my hair in record time! can never get my hair to curl like this and I love it! Both ladies were so sweet and I'm very happy! Being new to Texas I was nervous about trying to find someone new to do my hair. I had always gone to Fantastic Sams so I went there and the girl messed up my hair something AWEFUL! I called around and found this place and WOW what a great experience! I normally go to Alex who fixed my hair beautifully! This time Alex is out of town I think so I booked with another stylist. I just had my first appointment here and loved it. The salon is clean, and really cute. The woman who greeted me was very nice and offered me a drink. They have water, soft drinks, wine... and champagne! Bonus! I got my hair cut by Kenzie. She is very sweet and is confident in what she does (for good reason). I was ready for my spring/summer hair so we cut 6 inches off and did a long bob. I love it! She also does color, if you check out their Instagram you'll see some examples of her work. I'm super excited to have found such a nice salon/stylist nearby. read more

I really like all of the stylists at HC and truly believe that they are all talented and great at what they do, so no complaints there. I also appreciate the organic and less toxic approach products. My frustration with HeadCase is consistently with the pricing. Their starting costs are quite high to begin with and then they charge for "extra product". The first time I went there, I was charged about $20 for extra product. Of course I didn't realize this until I got home and received my receipt via email. I did push back on that the next time I was there and from then on my extra product charge was closer to $3-$4 each time. Recently I was charged $16 for extra product with no explanation. Again, I didn't realize this until I got home as they never itemize anything when you are standing there, they just announce the total. I have fine hair and never get anything exotic done, just basic color/highlights so it never makes sense to me, it just seems like an arbitrary charge. I have been to many high end salons in my life and have never been charged extra for product. With high starting costs, extra product fees and $35 for toner, be prepared! read more

Found my favorite new salon! I was a walk in customer at this salon yesterday and everyone was so great. They were able to fit me in really quick, no waiting, they offered refreshments and were super polite. My stylist was very friendly and we chatted the whole time which was nice. She did exactly what I wanted, I told her I'm wash-n-go with curly hair and basically I wanted a cut that would be a voluminous as possible, and I feel that is what I got. The salon itself is beautiful, great atmosphere, and I even loved the music (heard some Bowie and Portishead) so I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks ladies! read more

Beautiful salon located in the heart of Keller only minutes from town square and 377! They are Green Circle certified...which means they recycle every thing from hair to color and then put it to good use. The staff is super friendly and extremely courteous. If you value great service and want to contribute to the environment, you should definitely give them a try. read more

Was looking for someplace on a Sunday(which is difficult )for my daughter and myself to get hair cuts and styled. Head Case came up and had great reviews so we gave it a try. I am very particular and my daughter has crazy frizzy thick hair so I was a little nervous. Well... no need for nervousness,very clean and pretty salon with friend people. Took my teenage daughter for her first hair coloring experience. They could not have made it more fun, educational and awesome for her. She had a look in mind and the creator talked with her about how she would get her to that color over time but she isn't able to do that light today without causing her hair to become unhealthy. Then the Girl who dried it took time to get to know her and ask her about her. And made her feel absolutely beautiful. You can give girls a lot of things, but confidence is one of the most important gifts! She left with a ton! Thank you for making my already naturally beautiful daughter feel confident and love her new look! read more

This is a beautiful salon but it has issues. They have an extremely high turnover rate for stylists. You will be lucky if you don't have to switch every time you make an appointment. I kept trying to give them a chance but after 5 different stylists, I couldn't trust them for doing the color I wanted. Having such a high turnover tells you something is wrong with the management. I'd look elsewhere if you want consistency and not get a new person every time. read more

My bigger issue was with the business practices. I was sold on a package during my appointment and was quoted one price (around $156), but by the time I got to the front desk the amount had increased to $192. The pricing structure was confusing and never felt transparent. The constant focus on packages, memberships, products, and "savings" made me feel like I was being sold to rather than simply paying for a service. I later received another charge on my credit card weeks after canceling my future appointment because of the payment structure attached to the package. While the company pointed to terms on its website, I do not feel the ongoing automatic charges were honestly and clearly disclosed when the package was sold to me in person. Good customer service is not about pointing customers to fine print after the fact. It is about being honest, upfront, and transparent before the sale is made. Customers should clearly understand what they are paying, what future charges will occur, and how the billing works before agreeing to anything. I have no issue paying for services. My issue is confusing pricing, constant upselling, and a business model that did not feel customer friendly. Had everything been explained honestly and clearly from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, I was left feeling misled about the true cost and billing structure.

I came back to get them fixed and I left with the thumb nails fixed but the nails were still crooked, and there was that weird dent still. The man who did my nails said "oh the flowers on your nails are 3d" they aren't. It's dented in the areas where the flowers aren't even at. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the crooked ones since those broke after two days of having them. I'll go in chronological order of how this happened. I tell the guy I want whats in the reference photo, I tell him white background with champagne colored flowers. Took a good minute explaining that and as you see, didnt happen and got it wrong but thats my fault for not saying anything and going with the flow since it's my first ever time getting nails. He also told me to get longer ones and to get a dip manicure which made the order 45$ - 75$ but I thought, it should be fine! I trust that he can make the nails pretty! And I let him know he can make it more simple if need be. If I knew he couldn't get anywhere near the ref or even decent looking flowers I would've picked out something else. As y'all see in the photos it didnt work out. It took 2 hours for those nails, while my younger sister got more complicated ones and took less time, looked prettier, and was cheaper. So when I got to the car I balled my eyes out. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed of what I paid for since it was a terrible job. I called the people soon after asking if I can get a refund or atleast get these fixed/removed, and I was informed then that there was no refunds even though they were the ones who did a bad job. When I came back the same guy who did the nails in the first place served me and when I brought up the problems he just made excuses. Or just acted like it wasn't there, the thumb one may have some credit but everything else was practically straight up lying to my face. He just shaved my thumb nail down and sanded down the edges and failed to fix the crookedness. I don't think he even did that much to shave down the thumb nail either. Overall not a good experience but maybe it's just that one guy in that shop that is bad at nails.

Plus, one of the employees had her kid there who was seriously one of the cutest freakin kids I've ever seen running around offering me Ritz crackers. Yet I was ok. I was trusting them and the process. I made my next 2 appts at that time. The second visit took just as long if not longer. I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!

A huge Thank you to Kristina. After somewhere around 7 years of letting my hair grow out (it grows really slow...) to be able to have enough to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, I had it cut today. Kristina did a terrific job. My hair is very fine and VERY straight so to get a cut that can work and that works for me is usually difficult. Kristina did it and I couldn't be more pleased. :) It was also terrific to learn too that not only was I donating 11 inches of hair but the rest of the hair clippings would be recycled. Who knew that hair clippings could be recycled and are used in oil slick clean up not to mention the additional recycling Head Case does and environmental choices they make to make them a part of the Green Circle Salon movement. I had my first appointment with Emily at the Keller, TX salon on Christmas Eve 2016. I was immensely impressed and satisfied. She's very easy to talk to, knowledgable, decisive and helpful. For two years, I bounced around to stylist after stylist, never liking my color, etc... Then, I found Brandi and Emily at Head Case and finally got my color back - and even better. The worst salon. Doesn't deserve one star. Owner is crazy and so is her daughter. Head case fits the description of the owner Kelly. My hair was orange and the owner said it was my hair wouldn't lift any lighter. The owner isn't even a cosmetologist. Her daughter is but only does blow outs. The worst salon. Never go there. Tacky as the name and stylist aren't trained or seasoned. read more

I came in with black hair all over and wanted blonde highlights. Kristina gave me a great consultation and explained everything to me about the process. I have never been to a salon that made me feel as cared for as I do here! She gave me a great cut and Brandy gave me an AMAZING blowout to finish it off! The staff at the salon is very attentive and professional. The studio is impressively beautiful. Great music playing. My hair looks fabulous and I'm so satisfied with my experience! OMG! They are such a lifesaver! Got hair highlighted and colored! It was So dry so went in for deep conditioner and they fixed my color Same Day! Since the girl who had just done it turned it orange! I will definitely be back! Love this place! read more
