Not saying why but we won't be returning to have our Honda CRV's transmission serviced.

I asked if they had time to take me in and after a few questions and because I'm visiting from far away, he told me to come in! Edward is very personable. His care and concern for my safety is very much appreciated. Listening to him deal with his customers from the lobby, it's evident that he truly cares. I heard him say, "be safe" and"be careful", great customer service! Please support this local business! It's refreshing to come to a business where they treat their customers well!

I beg to differ. (By the way, these are brand new tires ) I've plugged my own tires, it takes five minutes Obviously I could not because I was in Healdsburg and I live in SantaRosa. I told him it was flat and I was down to 12 pounds of air and he never offered to give me some error so I could make it home. That's just an easy customer service miss there. I took it to Ceja the other tire repair stop in town. They said we patch it from inside for $40!!!!Thank you Ceja Tires for taking care of a local!

I needed a front end alignment. I took it in, and before…read morethey even pulled it into the shop they checked to see if I already knew that my truck chronically leaned to the left, which I did. But they checked. The kept me in the know and checked in with me periodically the whole procedure. It took about 40 minutes but I didn't mind at all. Extremely professional and kind guys who know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge because they are concerned about giving you the best value for your money. Also they did a quick detail inside the car which I found very nice. My car's a wreck.

STAY AWAY from these guys. I came in due to my car making a nasty loud sound whenever going over 2k…read morerpms. They quoted me a whopping $3,500 to replace a cv axel and some bearings. I ended up renting a trailer and truck from uhaul and towed my car myself all the way down to my mechanic in San Jose who not only told me he can do it for 1.5k BUT my mechanic (shout out to Akins repair in san jose) told me that they didn't even mention that my transmission was the real problem. So in summary I paid these con men at ryans $250 for a diagnostic (absurd to begin with) they were going to charge me 3.5k for a 1.5k job and they didn't even find the problem so if I paid them these extortion prices thinking I could go back home I would've been told in the middle of repair that I would have to cough up another $5k for a transmission. Literally saved about 6 months worth of rent avoiding them. Update to owners response: please re read what i wrote. I was quoted 3,500 for the cv axel AND bearings not sure why you're saying i misheard when i asked very bluntly over the phone, " how much will it cost to get me back on the road to go home" your employee said 3,500 and reiterated it was for cv axel AND bearings. in addition to the overcharge for both parts and services the issue was misdiagnosed by your employees as i took my car to a transmission specialist and he insisted to take a ride with me so i can confirm the noise (a protocol your business should incorporate) and instantly recognized the sound to be either transmission or transfer case and is currently diagnosing it further for $150 ($100 cheaper than you.) my main mechanic (the one that would do what was recommended to me for less than half the price you quoted me) even told me that he doesn't know what you all were listening to because within 30 min of me dropping it off he recommended me the transmission specialist (he didnt charge me for this inspection fyi). And he agreed that my cv axel and bearings could use work but this noise had nothing to do with that. In other words its evident that If I went ahead with your business I would've spent thousands of dollars and still would not have been able to drive on the road and spend thousands more to fix the actual root of the problem. I still have the diagnosis and i can go ahead and publish how you managed to find everything but the root problem and compare it to the findings of the ongoing transmission inspection and if God willing if it's just a transfer case problem I'll update how my car is back on the road after towing it to the south bay and having two other mechanics look at it cost me less that dealing with you.

I left the car and agreed to the diagnostic fee. No issues there. Darlene called me back and confirmed that the valve covers were indeed leaking, and provided a quote of around $1,000. I asked if it needed a timing belt job or if the tech thought it could also be camshaft/crankshaft seals. She put me on hold and then said "Oh yeah, it needs a timing belt job too." Not sure why she wasn't prepared with that information, but it seemed odd. The quote for that was above $2,500. I then asked about the smog and Darlene told me I had lazy catalytic converters and that they needed to be replaced at almost $3k. All in all, the quote was going to be $6,500+. I don't know if this diagnostic was malicious or simply negligent, but either way it was unacceptable. I picked up the car the next day and took it to another shop. The other shop told me I didn't need new cats, then did the valve cover gaskets, timing belt job, spark plugs & wires for about $1,000 cheaper. They also replaced the PCV valve I provided ($20 part) for free and the car passed smog with flying colors. Sure the cats may have fixed it, but you shouldn't go with the nuclear option first, at the expense of the customer.
