Everything was great from first contact phone call! Maria was fabulous! I wish I lived locally, I would become a regular!

The only issue I had was parking. When you arrive at the building, there is valet service but I was told they don't valet trucks and was not given an alternative place to park (this was a separate company and had nothing to do with Healing Hands). It was a mission to find parking because it is Brickell... I had to park a couple blocks away. When I arrived, the staff was lovely, Ms. Athena was my masseuse. She was amazing! She was very attentive and listened to my concerns about specific aches and pains I was dealing with. As a competitive athlete, it's hard to find a masseuse who isn't afraid of a deep tissue and can work around muscular areas, but Ms. Athena did amazing. The place was very clean and relaxing and I left feeling refreshed. The owner, Ms Anastasia, was made aware of the parking situation and contacted me directly, which I thought was very professional and kind of her! Amazing, very personable, and great massage! I must start by explaining the four stars instead of five... We (hubby and I) read the directions to get to this place, so I thought. We walked around the entire building- a gentleman at the desk explained that we needed to keep going around the building. So, FINALLY, we are outside of the door across from the guardhouse. In the meantime, we called the 'listed number' and were told to just wait, as we were early. Huh? Outside?? In the rain?? So, ok. No getting into a Zen mood prior to the massage. At least there's a bench and it's warm weather. Hence, the FOUR STARS. Now, for the service! OMFnG!!! UHHH-MAAAAZING! (Background - prior to COVID-19, we were avid cruisers. Visiting the spa on a cruise ship is an experience like no other. And I love a good massage.) Ok, so Anastasia comes outside to get us - I guess about 12 - 15 minutes or so prior to our 60 - minutes Couples appointment. She explained the set-up and apologized for the inconvenience of having to wait outside, informing us that they are practicing out of a shared workspace. So, now I get it! And who can stay upset when someone is smiling and offering you water out of a mug? She seated us and said she was going to prep the room, and that Carlos should be arriving any minute. Upon her return, Carlos walked into the building, greeted us and said give him 2 minutes. Anyway, he went somewhere and then he came RIGHT back, empty handed and ready for work. They walked us upstairs to a beautifully Zen room, asked the usual pre-massage questions and then stepped out for us to undress and get situated. (They wait 30 seconds for you to get underneath the covers when the lights go out.) My husband had Anastasia. He said, "She has wonderfully Healing Hands. The pressure was great, which can sometimes be a challenge for women massaging men with large muscle structure."... I must say, as the Mrs, I will concur that she must have been getting into those muscles well, as I kept hearing 'Eek, Mm! Ok, go ahead! Get in there.' - followed by very deep breaths. I'm trying not to laugh! When I tell you that Carlos found ALL of my 'trouble spots', WOW!! I have been having issues with the ligaments and muscles at my hip. He really worked those, stretching me, as I probably should have been doing all along. I love that all you have to do is explain what type of massages you've had in the past and they will incorporate these things - in the ONE PRICE. He used Deep tissue, hot stones, relaxing, stretching. Mmmm!!! I came back to my room and immediately booked another massage with Carlos (thank you for being available on 7/5/21) for 7 days later... this time for 75 minutes! While visiting my birthplace Miami, I booked a couple spa day for me and my wife. The place is very clean and well kept and the music in our room was soft, nice and very relaxing. Athena worked her magical hands on me while Victoria quietly work on my wife. My aches and pains were eliminated completely after my 75 minute session. My entire body was so relaxed that I asked them for a few more hours just to take a nap. Victoria gave my wife's body a very good deep massage which relieved her of the pain and aches she was having prior to our visit. A quick little facial was part of Victoria's way of appreciating my wife's beautiful skin. I commended both ladies by adding little extra $$ to our bill even though the gratuity was include in the advance payment when booking the appointment. First off what I can say was finding the location was very easy they even have a video just in case to show you where they're located at specifically. They were very inviting, nice and sweet. Both of the people who gave us our massage was very professional. I did get the couple massage and the pricing is a little high but it was worth every penny.It was very soothing to the point where i even fell asleep which speaks volumes on how relaxing the massage was. While visiting Miami, I decided to get a couples massage. As we have not done one of these together before. The place was not difficult to locate, as the instructions provided were spot on. Our masseuses were Lucy and Cedtara. While they both were pretty good, thus the reason for the 3 star rating. However, I found myself leaving not as relaxed as I had anticipated. This due to the room being extremely cold and very bright. Although the lights were out, there were no room darkening curtains that prevented the sunlight from coming through. I would not recommend this service unless adjustments are made. Overall for the amount of money paid, I was disappointed. read more

The masseuse was lovely and the quality of the massage was overall great, although the price is a bit steeper than some equally good massages elsewhere. Docking off two stars for the incredibly condescending tone that the front desk staff member decided to take with me when I spoke with them on the phone with some questions about pushing the appointment time (I'm used to rudeness, being from Boston... but whoever I was speaking to on the phone was probably having a particularly bad day because she felt it was the occasion to be bitch central). My only request from my experience is for the front desk to not assume all their customers are stupid, and to treat them all kindly and with respect - your masseuses do, so do them a favor and let them get the stars they deserve. Please don't make your customers feel terrible for running late because you never know why people run late. As a physician I am used to patients running late and it can be literally for any reason, often outside of their control! Unfortunately because of this interaction, I will not be back. read more

I have had these Therapeutic Massages for the last few years. While perhaps not coming more than once a year, over the years I have received massages by different masseuse. And every time they have been exceptional. The experience has always left me wanting to extend my time. The location while a little funky where it is located, I can honestly say this is only something you will notice the first time you arrive. The massage room seems to be located in what may be a co-working office but they have their own room with a complete setup, and as I said you will only notice it upon arrival and not again. Anastasia with Healing Hands had great reviews and she and Julie (my wife had her I believe this was her name) did not disappoint! We get a lot of massages but both therapists really did a good job finding and working out the knots. They call it an all inclusive massage, which mean you can ask for deep tissue, hot stone, stretching, whatever you want/need. They really worked on our trouble spots using heat to warm up some spots, stretching/twisting to dig into my muscles and even hot stone to focus on some areas. We love the our couples massage. They were more therapeutic and healing than the typical relaxing massages. In fact, there were stretching options, which we elected to receive. The actual masseuses were outstanding. Very communicative and sensitive. I neglected to tell my masseuse my lower back issues and somehow she zeroed in on it and spent a bit more time in the area. We arrived a few minutes late and they were very accommodating making sure we got the full hour. This was one of the best massage experiences we've ever had.
