And over the years, my job has gone more and more online, so I am spending the majority of it on the computer. I like that it was not too far from my job, just a short ride on the Metrorail and Metromover. Thanks to the Yelp Fit Club closing party, I got to know an awesome massage therapist who brought me back to life from a 20 plus hour work day. Between deadlines in the office and 5am concrete pours, I was worn out! The clinic is located in Educating Hands School of Massage, inside a 70s/80s repurposed building (yeah for the cool architecture!) Anastasia had me fill out some paperwork and asked me some questions about my symptoms, and between the massage oils, soothing ambient music and Anastasia's hands, I was in the cruise lane to paradise and relaxation. I don't recall having to ask her to change pressure from soreness instead I woke up with enough energy to check my email, take two gym classes the next day and enjoy the July 4th weekend! This was hands down the best massage that I have ever had! My best friend and I booked a couples massage with Anastasia and another healer (forgot her name but my best friend had the same amazing experience that I did). When booking services, I called to get an explanation of what is included in an all inclusive massage because for the price I couldn't believe that it meant all inclusive. But I was wrong! All inclusive means you can get hot stones, aroma therapy oils, work on any areas, etc. all for one low price. More places need to adopt this practice because I feel like I got my money's worth or even more! Because it was my birthday Anastasia allowed me to pick a combination of aroma therapy oils that she used during the massage and I got to take the rest home! Every area that I asked her to focus on she used the perfect amount of pressure and worked on that area for just the right amount of time. They even threw some stretches in there toward the end.
