That was the main reason I chose this spa and booked in advance. My appointment was fully confirmed. When I first arrived, there wasn't much of a greeting at the front desk. The woman working didn't seem very welcoming, and while everyone can have an off day, it didn't feel like a warm or professional first impression. I was then taken to my room and was already laying on the table when a male therapist walked in without saying anything. I only noticed because I happened to look up, expecting to meet Sky. Otherwise, I wouldn't have even known there had been a change. No one had informed me that my appointment had been switched. When I asked where Sky was, he explained (with some difficulty due to a language barrier) that she was working with a walk-in client. This was confusing and frustrating, as I had booked ahead specifically to see her. It was unclear why a walk-in was given priority over a confirmed appointment. I was already in a lot of pain and really needed relief, so I decided to continue. The therapist was kind, but because of the language barrier, he had trouble understanding my concerns. Unfortunately, the massage did not address my problem areas and did not provide the relief I was hoping for. The spa itself is clean, calm, and well maintained, and I have no complaints about the facility. My disappointment comes from the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism. When clients book with a specific therapist -- especially for pain-related issues -- that commitment should be honored, or at the very least clearly communicated in advance. This was my first visit, and I truly wanted to love this place. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and hesitant to return or recommend it. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reaches out to make this right, as this experience did not reflect the level of service I was expecting for the price.

We've been here dozens of times and have always been satisfied - and ALWAYS tipped 20%. This was the first time I ever tipped anything lower, and it was 17% - which is pretty generous considering I should have tipped nothing. The masseuse had a cold and was breathing heavily right by my ear and sniveling the whole time. It was so gross, that halfway through when both masseuses left the room (for a rather long time - which happened multiple times) I asked my husband if we could just leave. We stayed and I regret doing so. The masseuse had such a terrible technique, it was like he was chopping vegetables as fast as possible on my back. He didn't listen to the focus areas I wanted, and I was just so uncomfortable and skeeved out by him. Instead of the lady at the front desk asking if anything was wrong with the massage, she was visibly annoyed that we only gave a 17% tip, and gave me the dirtiest look. What poor customer service. If she had bothered asking and apologized for the experience, I wouldn't have written this and would have considered going back. But I guess they'd rather have no business at all from us. That's fine. Side note for anyone in the couple's room - I've always been suspicious that in the corner of the room where the ceiling meets the walls, there is a sizable hole. I try to turn away from it because I've always wondered if there is some kind of recording device up there. Why would you have a hole in that specific spot of the ceiling?
