I've gone to the sister location in Gilbert and do not recommend due to rude staff however, you walk into healing hearts of Queen Creek, and your welcomed with smiling faces and people that actually say hello to you. They are always professional always explain to you what's going on and are there to answer your questions. You are not rushed out the door if you need to breast-feed or change diaper and they take their time to provide the quality of care that you deserve. read more

We recently moved here from out of state and needed a pediatrician for our 3 kids. I came across healing hearts, and they were close to us. when we went to our appointment on the board it did show that our doctor was running behind, which is OK because I understand things happen. After waiting 35-40min for our appt we were seen by Doctor Meghan she saw my 2 youngest 10 and 12 boy was she worth the wait she took her time and was very thorough. She asked tons of questions and asked about our thoughts and needs. I couldn't get a same day appointment for all three of my kids so the very next day my oldest 14 was seen by Dr. Rosie. This time there was no wait and were seen right away I did not expect to have such a great visit because how could anyone beat Dr Meghan but we received the same attentive great care from Dr Rosie. There's nothing more refreshing then going to a doctors appointment and to feel and know that the doctor actually cares. I'm a mother of 3 and my kids have been patients of Dr. Khurana for nearly 20 years. My eldest is 19 years old and still will only see her. I have a nearly 16 year old boy, and a 5 year old. At one point or another they have been seen by other practitioners, we love Dr. McKenna. We love Nikki, she's just wonderful with the kids! When my youngest was showing some developmental delays Dr. Khurana was proactive at getting him tested. He's now a thriving kid who's going to be tested as a gifted child by his school district. I just can't say enough about the care Dr. Khurana has given my kids. She's truly invested in their care both physically and emotionally. She's been their sounding board on several occasions when they needed emotional support. Only one piece of feedback, as of late it's a challenge getting an appointment sometimes. They've grown as a practice so getting time on Dr. Khurana's schedule is difficult. Which makes it a challenge when my older kids only want to see her! I guess that's part of being such a good provider. read more

We really liked healing hearts until COVID came into the picture. The care providers have all been nice and knowledgeable but there are 2 reasons I'm rating this business with 2 stars. 1. Pressuring parents to give an experimental vaccine to their children. Even though children have an extremely low chance of significant symptoms or death from COVID. The simple fact the vaccine does not prevent you from getting the virus or prevent you from spreading. Yet they still pressure to give it to your children when there is extremely little data to support it's safety. 2. While every other medical establishment in the valley does not require masks, Healing hearts still does. On top of that, there is a paper posted in the lobby stating the cdc does not recommend face shields but half of the staff is wearing face shields. So they don't even adhere to their own rules. Regardless, this rule is not based on science or facts it's based on political correctness. I hope they come to their senses and reevaluate their policy's based on current data and state of the COVID pandemic and stop pressuring a medical treatment that is experimental. read more

I wish I could give no stars. Worst pediatricians office I have ever been to. My newborn has been seen twice once for her check after being born and at her one week appointment. No one at their office bothered to notify me that her newborn screening came up borderline abnormal and needed a repeat screening. This should have been completed at her one week appointment! Now she's 3 weeks old, I just got a letter in the mail from the state saying we needed to get the second screening done immediately. I called the office the second they opened this morning to be told they can get her in on Monday at 2:30 (it's Friday today). When I stated the letter said immediately, the women on the phone replied Monday's fine. Monday is NOT fine, as most newborns have started treatment for the disorder by 2 weeks old and my baby is already 3 weeks and results take 2 weeks to come back!!!!!! I am so livid, this condition is serious and needs to be treated as soon as possible to prevent permanent issues. Update: I am not changing my amount of stars because I heard from the pediatrician. It took me well over a week to hear back from anyone in their office. I called the office manager and left a message that Friday. I never heard back so I called Thursday the following week and was told the office manager would be emailed to call me immediately. By 4:30 that day I still had not gotten a call so I called again and finally got the office manager. Who had no insight as to why this happened. The pediatrician then called and took responsibility for what happened. That does not change the fact that they dropped the ball 3 times on my newborns screening and directly violated Arizona's requirement for healthcare providers to perform a second newborn screening as well as not check her results the first time AND not get her in to be re-scanned in a timely manner. So regardless everyone should know of what happened before they choose this pediatrician. read more

I like Dr Khurana. She is caring, and never seems to be rushed to get out of the room. She spends as much time as needed. This office is nice because they seemed even less stressed, less rushed. But it is way out in Queen Creek. Dr Khurana is only here on certain days, though. Overall, this seems to be a very good pediatric office. read more

Healing Hearts never has anything available and they do not answer their phones. I have 3 kids that attend here and we will be switching to a different practice. I've called for and emergency visit for my son who has something clogged in his ear and they cannot even schedule us in, no available appointments. They say to call back at 8 am to fill a complex visit spot, which I've done for 2 days in a row now. First day there were no spots open, the second day I called for 45 min straight and no one even answers. Just goes straight to hold music and no one answers. This is the 6th attempt to get a visit within a few months. How are people with sick kids or sudden issues supposed to get seen? You can't plan on a sick visit a month out.... They literally tell you to just go to try urgent care since they are too busy. read more

This place has been pretty disappointing for the past 6 months. That's how old my baby is. Since day one the business claims that they're understaffed and currently working on the issue. 6 months later, the wait time is now over an hour per visit. They get you into the room and wait more than 30+ minutes for more unacceptable business. I would never come here if it wasn't for my baby to get their shots. It seems as if you're sick there is no wait, but if not, good luck. Make sure you clear your schedule when making the appointment because it's going to take about and hour and a half longer than usual. Best of luck! read more

This is my 2nd review of this pediatrician office, and my impression has not changed. After my initial bad experience after calling them to set up an appointment when my son was first born (refer to my first 1 star review) ... my wife and i decided to give them a second chance and called to schedule an appointment for my son who is now 10 mos. Old. The receptionist answered the line and asked basic questions, my wife i formed her our son has his vaccines through 6 mos. But will not be getting any vaccines moving forward. The receptionist responded by saying "he cant be a patient here then" and continued by stating it is their policy. So in other words we as parents have NO SAY in what substances are injected into our son's body, and is refused services unless he is vaccinated. This is absolutely disgusting. It is/always will be my/my wifes choice what vaccines my son gets, not some joke of a pediatrician office. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. We love healing hearts! Both my daughters are patients here and we have been seen at all 3 offices and have never had any issues. We love Dr. Roller and Dr. McKenna and are very happy to be able to work alongside them for our children's health. We are very appreciative of their vaccination policy and their efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy. We have enjoyed being patients there pre covid and now. We've been going here since my daughter was born in 2020. It's progressively gotten worse with each visit. We will be switching to a different pediatrician asap. Do not waste your time. The front desk is incompetent and they NEVER answer the phone. I called 7 times yesterday to reschedule an appointment, was on hold at least 15 minutes each time and no one answered. This happens all the time. There was another time this same situation happened so I drove down there while I was on the phone trying to reach someone only to walk into the office and see the front desk girls talking while the phone was ringing. Not only do they not do their job up front, they make you wait excessively long for appointments, even when you show up on time. There were times when we'd show up for appointments and we'd wait at least an hour for anyone to see us. It's even harder to manage when you have a child with special needs. This place is garbage, the people are insensitive and we still get random bills for stuff we already paid. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Love the doctors here. I live in queen creek and I have been taking my son to their Gilbert office for years. Dr Khurana is amazing. In emergencies we can get in really fast. They are very thorough and very patient. I never feel rushed. My son has ADHD and they have given me a lot of positive options. So when they told me that they are opening their queen creek office I was absolutely thrilled. I have recommended Healing Hearts to all my mom friends. read more

We used to love going here only because of Dr. Richard Heck. But, once he retired, everything went terribly. The staff up front are never pleasant. They had NO sick appointments at this office during COVID times. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but, I have to in regards to this. For several reasons: 1. they can't even treat pink eyes. 2. their doctors are never available, they want you to see a Nurse Practitioner. 3. They don't care about their job nor their patients. Here is the detailed story: We moved from LA a few months ago and we need to find a new pediatrician for my 2 boys. My husband picked Dr. Rollers because of his academic background. The first visit was ok. It was a general check-up for my 2 boys. Dr. Rollers was very patient and tried to answer all my husband's questions( now I figure they use this to hook you up). So here comes the 2nd visit. My 2-year-old had pink eyes. I asked to make an appointment with Dr. Rollers and they told me he won't be available until next week so they scheduled a nurse practitioner for my son without even telling me!!!!! I am a healthcare recruiter, I recruit healthcare professionals for medical malpractice cases all the time. I read their CVs all day long. I know how much education & training MDs have vs. nurse practitioners. Especially they charge the same visiting fees. It is very UNFAIR to the patient. Before here, I never knew a NP can see patient b/c this just won't happen in LA. You either see a pediatric or not, no doctor office will schedule you to see a NP. Even worse, the NP didn't care about my son nor has any updated knowledge. A. she tried to check my son's throat, but my son refused to do so. After 3 attempts, she told me, his throat looked ok. (WTF? He didn't even open his mouth) She just didn't want to waste more time on him. B. She prescribed an antibiotic eye drop for my son. I asked if it is manufactured in another country and told her we only want medicine made in the U.S. She told me "No, all the medicines here are manufactured in the U.S.." EXCUSE ME? anybody who reads news knows it is not true. so I provided her some companies' names who manufacture medicine in China and India and I tried to confirm the one she prescribed was not one of them. She said: " I don't know. Only the manufacturers know where they are made." This is obviously not true, my son's last doctor knew it, whoever cares about their patients knows. Also, she rushed in and rushed out of the office, left us no time for discussion. C. Of course, my son's pink eye didn't go away after 2 weeks using the medicine, so we scheduled another appointment. I addressed to the scheduler over and over and over again I wanted to see Dr. Rollers and I was assured. So I drove all the way to Chandler's office from Queen Creek, surprisingly, they gave us another NP. I was shocked about their unprofessionalism and asked the assistant why an NP not an MD. Her response was even funny to me, she told me "don't worry, this NP is good, she is really good." Lady, I'm not in a grocery store and choosing one cucumber from another. I don't need you to tell me "She is good". I simply made an appointment with an MD and I want to stick with my choice. So, anyway, the NP confirmed my son's pick eye never went away and suggested to keep using the same medicine left from last time. Excuse me? Shouldn't we change to another one if this one didn't work? D. They are very DISORGANIZED. I scheduled a vaccination appointment for my older one. I prepared everything just so we can be there at 1:30 pm on Tuesday. I took sick leave from my work and I asked the school to release my son earlier today. However, at 9:28 am, I got a phone call that they have to reschedule the appointment b/c the doctor won't be available. not only they have the late cancellation nor provided us with other options. No other doctors can take over this matter. also, 2 different people called my husband twice regarding to the same issue. and the second not knowing that he was already called. I already decided to pull my kids our from them. To me, they are not Healing Hearts, they are more like Evil/Devil/Monster heats. read more

This office was rude. Unfortunately, being from a different state, I did not realize that this office was surrounded by construction. When I realized that I would be late to my appointment due to the construction, the receptionist was insistent that I give her an exact time that I would arrive. When I was 2 minutes off of that time she informed me that they would not be seeing either of my children as we were supposed to be there 40 minutes early for our first appointment. even though they stated 30 minutes early on their emails and text reminders. We were still 20 minutes early for our second appointment and she told me that she would have to get permission to see the second child. We summarily walked out of the appointment and will not be returning to this office. I promised that I would write a review, here it is, I rarely break my promises. read more

I was very surprised by the lack of concern and the way my appointment was handled. I took my son to see Dr. Romero after having a fever for a few days with really no other major symptoms like runny nose or cough. In the appointment I was trying to explain that just a week ago he was fighting a bad cold, runny nose, cough, not sleeping and now we had this fever appear. I was told that the weeks prior were irrelevant and that my son is in a day care and I should expect frequent illness. While checking his ears my 1 year old was obviously was not over joyed with her sticking anything in his ear and he was wiggling but she said he was fine and there was nothing wrong. I was told he had a virus and had to be tested for Covid. The next day my son's ears were swollen and when I was called to be told the COVID test was negative I mentioned this and was told if his ear was still swollen in a few days to come back. After taking my child to urgent care that night I was told that my son had to have a CT because his ears were so infected that the fluid was going behind his ears and back by his skull. My son had to be hospitalized for three days on IV antibiotics and had to have surgery to place tubes and help flush the infected fluid from his ears. You can imagine how surprised I was to be told this not even 24 hours after my son was just at his pediatrics office and had his ears "checked" and was told he was fine. If I had waited a couple days to take him back to the doctor the infection could have gone to his skull. Needless to say I do not recommend taking your child here and I will be finding a new pediatric office to take my son to. read more

worst pediatrician ever! no one ever answers and if they do the girls in the front give you an attitude and basically tell you there are no appointments and nothing they can do....if you ask to speak to an office manager guess what they tell you they don't have one....if your kid gets sick and you need a same day appointment guess what you won't get it....i've had to take my kids to children's urgent care because i can never get an appointment....please for your child's sake do not go here!!!! read more

At our first visit after being released from the hospital, Dr. Roller suggested we clean our newborn's belly button stub with alcohol--strange, since every parenting class and hospital employee told us that was no longer recommended. But, we continued to bring our daughter here. When she was brought in for her 4 month checkup, I explained how she had developed a cough and nasal drainage and asked if it was allergies. I was told no, but not given an explanation of what it was caused by. Just advice to elevate her mattress. Two weeks later I brought her in for a sick visit because the cough had gotten much worse and she had discharge from both eyes. Again, the cough was ignored and she was given drops for her eyes. 24 hours later her eyes were even worse so I called the nurses line and was told if she didn't have a fever, it wasn't anything to worry about. I took her to a pediatric urgent care and they found she had a respiratory and ear infection. So that cough that was ignored wasn't just "nothing". and how did Dr. Roller miss the ear infection? The urgent care dr said she had a hard ball of wax blocking her view and had to clean it out to see the infection. So Dr. Roller "looked" in her ears and just said they were fine although he couldn't actually see inside them. Thankfully the urgent care dr prescribed new medicine and our daughter has shown dramatic improvement in just 48 hours. If you want a competent doctor that will take your child's health seriously, don't go here--or request a different doctor--but I will NEVER go back. My baby suffered needlessly because of Dr. Roller. read more

We switched to this office for all 3 of our kids after Sonoran Sky Pediatrics closed their San Tan Valley office. Living out in the STV/QC area there are not a lot of options when it comes to a good pediatrician. We liked Dr. Heck at Sonoran Sky and when I saw that he was with Healing Hearts we decided to give it a go since they had an office in Queen Creek. I will say however, I have been slightly disappointed with the Queen Creek office more than once. On one occasion the receptionist was rude when we arrived for my daughter's sick visit because I showed up 10 minutes prior to my appointment time and they were still at lunch (I didn't realize they closed for lunch). Second time I called at 8:15 in the morning to schedule a same-day sick appointment for my daughter and was told the Queen Creek office was completely booked. I have to leave work early in Chandler, drive to San Tan Valley to pick my daughter up from her babysitter and now drive all the way to Gilbert to have her seen...not very convenient and I find it odd that first thing in the morning there are no sick appointments available at the QC office. read more

When I first started to go to the Gilbert office it was great. But then I moved and started coming to the queen creek office. They don't listen and treat me like I'm dumb. One doctor I saw told my daughter to be quiet when she was asking me a question. My most recent experience was calling to get a med filled and being called back by an office woman that talked down to me like I'm a dog. I'm sorry but that crosses a line with me. I will not give them another minute of my time. Do yourself a favor and don't go here there's better offices. read more
