They have amazing customer service and always go above and beyond for your child. We are so beyond thankful to have found them for our children and wouldn't recommend anyone else. Dr Gomez is the most amazing human ever she answered every question I had. The office is clean and well maintained. The front desk ladies are super helpful and kind and always go above and beyond to help with appts and questions. The nurses who help are awesome as well. What a joke! Went there yesterday with my daughter. Cad a severe cough. We were given serval prescriptions, went to the location that we have always used for pickup's. Fry's on Combs. No prescriptions. Called office agaian they said they would send the prescriptions immediately. Went back to pick up..... no prescriptions were called in again. Pharmacy is now closed called again on Saturday morning. Had to wait for a doctor to call me back called in prescription again have 30 minutes to make it to the pharmacy. Hope to God it's there. what a joke spend $18,000 a year on health insurance to deal with this kind of bull crap don't waste your time with a place like this. What a joke. read more

Office is very disorganized. Whoever answers the phones after hours didn't know who their on call Doctor was that night and didn't recognize the name of the Doctor we gave them that works at their practice. We asked that the Doctor call us in regard to an emergency for our daughter and the message was never received as we never got a call back. The office staff do not seem educated in pediatrics. When asking them questions we were told they did not know since they don't have kids themselves. The office did not feel professional. We were waiting to hear back on urgent test results we needed for our daughter. We called the office and got the results from the front desk. Then we got a call 20 minutes later from the Provider saying they didn't have the results. We told them their office just gave it to us. Then 3 days later we get a call about the test results again.. we let them know we got the results already, but very confused as to why they would call us 3 days later on test results that were put in as a STAT same day. Overall experience wasn't great so we are switching to a different pediatrician that has better communication. We need someone we can rely on and trust for our daughter read more

Normally I am not running late however due to COVID. You now have to call in and wait in your car. That's totally understand able. There policy states you can arrive 10 minutes late you may have to wait or at the physicians discretion. I was 7 minutes late and was told by one staff member because I was late I would need to be rescheduled. I was then placed on hold for 15 minutes before I was told I would be called to check in shortly. However I received a call I thought that was to check-in was only to inform me I would be waiting if an appointment was cancelled. She did seem friendly then the last staff member provided me the option to put me into another appointment at 10:15am instead of waiting who knows how long. I do appreciate the second staff member as I am usually on time and 7 minutes late should have not causes any delays. I am usually the one waiting whether it be inperson or in my car patiently after check-in and being seen on time of the actual appointment time is very rare. Even though I do appreciate being rescheduled tip is don't arrive minute. Overall the physicians are great. I do recommend them. read more

To say I'm so disappointed in this office is an understatement. We've been going to this office for years and lost all trust in them. My youngest had been dealing with abdominal pain as well as other issues for a few months and I felt like his problems weren't taken seriously. The incompetent medical assistants don't know how to send a simple urine culture(multiple at that) which dragged on his treatments even longer. My oldest son had abnormal blood work and was never asked to do any type of intervention for him, never told how often I should repeat his labs or advised on what we can do to bring them to normal levels. Absolutely no follow through. Front office Anna was rude and doesn't know what HIPPA laws are and probably should be retrained. The other font office gal Jennifer lied when I asked to get the name of the other gal and said she wouldn't give it to me because she couldn't look it up. When I told her I worked in the medical field and use the same EMR system, she magically was able to figure it out. I asked her to have an office manager to give me a call the next day because they were not in office so I could express my concerns and the best they did was to have the lead medical assistant call instead. Fortunately, she was actually apologetic and nice, but why pass on a job of an OFFICE MANAGER to an MA. I've already transferred records to another office, but parents... if you feel like they don't care... they probably don't. read more

Stuff aren't friendly or understanding at all.. we got there 12 min after the appointment time and they treated us like we were supposed to be there before 8 l.. but the text reminder from they said see you at 8am ..i had to take my other kids to school before 8 but not before 730 ..anyways there was traffic and I called them to let them know I was running a little late then when we get there they said I had to reschedule! For 12 min!! Crazy I took time of work for this since 3 weeks ago and this they treat us.. Dr Sol Higuera is amazing! I love how he interacts with my son makes him feel comfortable and gets him to smile the whole visit. The waiting room is ok they have a few toys, the room in which the Dr checks the baby are amazing! I love that every single room has a different theme in it. I love Pediatrics of Queen Creek! We have been going there for almost 7 years. The staff and the doctors are friendly and I feel the doctors really care about my kids and I. As myself and some of my kids were higher risk for getting covid, I appreciated that during the pandemic they provided tele med appts and if we needed to be seen in person, they had us wait in the car instead of in the waiting room before our appt. to reduce the amount of people inside and reduce risk of us getting sick. They are also great at helping screen for autism and always make my kids and I feel valued when we are there. read more

Good doctor no complaints when your actually seen, but the time to be seem omg. You cant arrive late too your appointment or you have to reschedule, yet they ask you to arrive 10 mins early, you wait for about 20 mins in the lobby, then once your taken back to the room another 15-20 min wait all for the practitioner too see your child less then 2 minutes and then be out. In the last 15 months I've been seen here , never ever have i been seen on time at my scheduled time. Even if i have been early. If you don't mind being here 1hr + , then this is the place for you. read more

For several reasons, I would not ever recommend this pediatric office to anybody. Long story short, if you question the doctors on any thing the staff will become hostile. If you follow the prescription as it's written out, call for a refill, they will give you attitude, especially when you correct them on their math. If there are 24 doses in the box, the prescription is written to give every four hours or as needed. You would be out of that medication within a week. If you call for a refill, they will tell you you are giving too much of the medication, even though that is exactly what they wrote. If you question them, they will simply talk down to you, accuse you of being hostile with their staff and threaten to drop you from care!!!! Bye read more

Updating my review, things have changed and I can't say we will be sticking around. This is the 5th time we have been in for a sick visit in the last year. We seem to be roomed and forgotten. The first time we waited 45 minutes beyond our appt time and I popped my head out and they said "oh she will be right there". Last time I had to leave after waiting 45 in a room to pick up my older kids from school. To ensure they collected my money and could bill they looked at my son for no joke 20 seconds in the hallway and sent a prescription over for antibiotics for his ear infection. TODAY we checked in at 945 for an 10AM appt and we were roomed at 1040. It is now after 11 and we have still not been seen. We are getting up to leave now as it's been over an hour beyond our time. I understand waiting 15 minutes, but this is excessive. Don't double book people! And if you don't have time to see a sick patient say that and we can go to Urgent Care. Also there have been some changes with their billing dept and the way they code things. They want to charge me $70 for a well check eye screening for my 2 boys (literally looking at the eye chart). Earlier this year I paid over $150 for strep screenings, actually cheaper to go the urgent care. The doctors here are great, but the way this place is run has gone downhill fast. After 5 years with this practice we can't continue to come here. I have recommended this practice to so many friends and family and really regret it Old Review- -Can not say enough amazing things about the doctors at Pediatrics of Queen Creek! They are all fantastic. I have 3 young boys that are inevitably regularly sick and they can always seem to squeeze them in! We initially started here with Dr Gomez and she was great. As her office took in more patients we have started to see Dr Sol Higuera. He is such a nice doctor and has a great demeanor and bedside manner with my kids. My oldest son is medically complex and they are always quick with referrals and communications with his specialty doctors and therapists. The other Dr Higuera is great too! I absolutely love Dr. Sol Higuera!! My now 2yr old does as well, we've been seeing Dr. Higuera for over a year now and wouldn't go anywhere else!! I now drive over 20 minutes just so I can take my son to see him. He is very sweet and genuine, he loves his job and it shows. The way he interacts with them is amazing!! He listens to you and doesn't make you feel like you're crazy lol, my son isn't scared of him which is awesome!! I'm so happy we found him!! read more

We use to see Dr. Sol at this location and I can't say enough great things about him, but, sadly he has left. Took my son in and saw a new NP whom I wasn't too impressed with (in her defense, she just isn't Dr. Sol, I went in with the expectation she would be just like him) but this office has always been great to us and met all my children's needs. We plan to stay, although with another provider. :) read more

Poor customer service and please check your bills because this office will charge you extra money for writing a prescription. They are predators to low income families. Be very careful when choosing this practice they see your children as $$$. Oh not to mention that the office visit that they wanted to compound time on was the appointment that I found out they LOST MY CHILDS SHOT RECORDS so I guess because the dr had to spend extra time looking for her records he felt the need to be compensated for it. Not to mention that this visit was for her asthma acting up and the dr felt the need to make sure payment was made I stead of the well being of his patient. read more

Dr Emiliano higuera is the best pediatrician I have ever seen for any of my 3 kids he's very informative !! And he's amazing with kids and makes them feel comfortable. I love how he answers all my questions and I never feel rushed he actually takes his time to explain things to you. Highly recommend him !!!! read more

Waiting room is very small and uncomfortable. It took us an hour and a half to be seen by the doctor and they couldn't even get her gender correct. There was no advice after the appointment for when we should schedule a follow up visit for my newborn daughter. Overall a horrible experience for me and I have switched my pediatrician because of it. read more

Absolutely ridiculous waiting times. Unsure why an appointment is needed when they run 30-45min behind EVERY time not being respectful of parents time. Waiting room is extremely stuffy, small and uncomfortable with no working toys. This office really needs a management and interior makeover. Will be going elsewhere in the future. read more

Horrible experience here and we will never go back. Nurse Medrano (I'm assuming she was nurse) is horrible with children and should not be working with them. She was giving the vaccines to my toddlers. Refused to let me hold them which I had always done in the past. She insisted on pinning their legs to the table very aggressively. One of my children became so upset he vomited all over himself and the table. She threw some napkins at me and told me she would be back in a few minutes. She was confused about which vaccines were being given to my children and had to leave the room to confirm with the Dr. This was after she had already given shots to one of my kids. The Dr. wasn't much better. She seemed spaced out and obviously had not fully read all of the medical information I had given regarding my children. They messed up my vaccination cards by putting incorrect dates and marking in the wrong spots. My husband and I were so shaken up that as we were checking out we told them that we were never coming back. They offered to have someone contact us to try to make it right but I never heard from this person and I don't care to. This was our first visit and our last. read more

Love this office! My daughter loves the doctors and they make it less scary for her, she is two and very active and curious. The male doctor we have seen the last two times is amazing with kids knows how to get her to go along with the check up while still getting her to laugh. We've been a few times. I had a good experience with Dr. Higuera. But I also tried to get a referral to a neurologist, and had to get a supervisor involved after days of refusing to just send a referral for a child with chronic migraines. Then we had our last appt. My daughter has behavioral health issues and a team to support her. Not ever having seen my kiddo before, a different shamed us for the meds she was on and then starting asking my kid why she chose her haircut. I complained and wrote a Yelp review. Based on my complaint, and possibly the review, the doc called me back and apologized. She said it wasn't her intention to make my family feel that way. After the apology the supervisor called and asked I remove my review. I'm not removing my review. I'm not going back. But perhaps they did learn from this experience and will be more careful with kids with special needs. I know finding a practitioner who can do that is difficult; not just from my experience but from that of other parents too. Maybe they'll be better, maybe they won't. My DIL took her 2 month old infant in because he had a cold. When they realized he had not been vaccinated, they told her they don't believe in not vaccinating and she would either have to get his shots up to date or take him somewhere else. She was intimidated and allowed them to administer multiple shots. Say what you want about parents' rights, but what professional gives a sick baby multiple shots at one visit? If he shows any signs of adverse reactions, there will be a lawsuit filed. read more

Fabulous pediatric office! We take both of our kids to this office and love Dr. Higuera and his team. With a child on the autism spectrum and a pre-teen daughter, we have some communication challenges. Dr. Higuera has found a way to tap into both of my children, and communicate with me as a parent as well. He is not pushy in his approach and the nursing staff is so wonderfully kind and patient. The office is quick to work with you, quick to get you in and has a great portal to check in on billing, diagnosis, prescriptions, etc. I highly recommend their office! read more

COMPLETE LACK OF COMPASSION BY THE BACK OFFICE. My daughter has barely slept because she was in so much pain from a UTI of some kind. I called to get her results and was told they needed to be signed off on and I'd get a call back (that never happened), I called back and got the results myself. I explained our situation and was told again that I'd get a call back (that never happened), I called again because I was concerned about new symptoms she had and was told an urgent message would be given and I would get a call back (again, that never happened) I called the next day and was told "the girl that was supposed to call me was out of the office" Clearly she was in such a hurry to get her vacations started that she didn't bother to call back a concerned parent. All it took was a call back, a sign of caring for my child and the pain she has been in. This isn't the first time I've had issues getting a call back but it will be the last with this place. My kids deserve to be seen in an office that can take the time to make a phone call. read more

Worst experience ever! It was my first time here. I waited 45 minutes for the doctor. It was my son's 1 year check up. He was diagnosed with an ear infection. They forgot to send over prescription!!! Not the best overall. I have two children and I have taken both children in on several occasions. The main issues, there are two big ones, is that I was not appropriately notified of test results for one of my children. I booked an appointment with a specialist and they had sent the medical records over to the specialist at which time I found out test results were positive and could have prevented me taking the time off work, driving over an hour to a specialist and paying the higher specialist co-pay. Secondarily, at the last visit we attended, they stuck my very sick child and myself in the room to wait for the exam and we were waiting for over an hour. The appointment was toward the end of the business day and I had to go and remind them we were in there. I had my other child at daycare and needed to leave to get him which caused me to be late. They had completely forgot about us for over an hour! Being late caused me to pay fees at the daycare as well. The little things are; The office they are in doesn't is dingy and feels dirty. They do not have sinks in the individual exam rooms and I am the mother that always asks they wash verses use hand sanitizer and they always seem upset about that. The office staff is okay. Sometimes they are very hasty and unprofessional and specialist referrals take an extremely long time. The staff actually lost the new patient records that I had sent over via email. They were hesitant to take the paperwork by email but couldn't seem to get the fax although I had a successful confirmation of the facsimile completion. Then the lady who I had sent the email to tried to lie to me on the phone when I was booking the next appointment and was telling me that she did have the paperwork but the fax messed up and it was not legible. This was a few weeks after I had sent it so I am sure she didn't recall I emailed it. I let her know the email address I sent it to and it was her but I literally pulled it out of my sent emails and resent it. It was perfectly legible. I didn't appreciate the lie to cover it up. She could have told me that the paperwork didn't make it into the file and I needed to resend however, that still leaves me with the question of where the paperwork containing the information on both my children and identity information ended up. This experience has been a mess and although Sol is a great doctor, i wouldn't recommend this experience to any parent that has a high expectation for the care and attention of their child/children. I really cant say anything negative about this office. The first time I came to see Dr. Emilia Gomez was for my first daughter and as a new mom I had tons of questions and concerns. She answered everything I asked honestly and kindly. When I would bring my daughter in for check ups she remembered her and details about her even though she had not seen in for a few months. At the time the icing on the cake that kept bringing me back outside of how kind she is was the simple fact she had a poster on the wall "Have you hugged your child today?". As parents its easy to get wrapped up in life and I thought it spoke volumes on the type of person she is. Fast forward 6 years I now have a second child. who has seen Dr. Gomez and Dr. Emiliano Higuera. Dr. Gomez is still the kind woman I met when I came in as a new mom. Dr. Higuera is amazing as well, he is so good with my girls. Even on their busy days they still provide the best service. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else ! If there is a wait I do not mind for the simple fact I know my kids will be genuinely taken care of when they are seen. I've seen a few complaints about the waiting room. Yes, there is a separation in the middle that does make the room seem small. However I apricate it for the fact the sick kids are apart from the well ones.
