I came across this spa because of RaqC. She comes here often and preaches about how good they are. So I gave them a shot. Walking in I was greeting by Michelle. Super nice! Great vibe. Appointment was at 2pm I got the like at 1:50pm. Filled out paper work and I was in the room past 2:05pm. I was glad they had no problem with me having my 3 yr old daughter. She's calm and patient so I knew she was going to be good. So were in the room of which seems clean and organized, she first examines my skin and gives me a recommendation. Says it's a 30 minute facial but in reality the timer is already on by the time u lay down on the bed. ( not happy about that) my facial was done by 2:30. Hmmmmm she literally did my facial in less than 15 minutes. Although it has been the best facial- extractions anybody has ever done I think it's necessary to keep your client for the full 30 minutes if you are going to charge $70 for a 30 minute facial.... mind you she did not massage me. I honestly did not mind the fee for membership because I know I need my monthly facials that I will pay an extra $10 for with my membership. One massage a month is $69.99. They do have a chart with fees and tip amount which is helpful but i would love if they actually did take the full amount of time the facial is to get the $22-$35 for an hour-hr and a half they suggest to tip. Over all this place is good, it is pricy but I rather pay this than go pay $35 to a place where I know is not clean, organized and only do cleansing and no extractions. I made my appointment for the acne treatment & as soon as you walk in they greet you. They're nice & kind. Evelyn did my facial, i told her about my concerns & she did the acne treatment. She's very nice & all but she didn't do the high frequency which I know it's good to kill bacteria & inflammation. The masks are really good, I asked her about my nose white heads & she said there wasn't a lot. I paid & all, I even got the monthly payment facial (which wasn't explained in detail & will be canceling). The moment I get home I noticed she didn't remove all my black heads, nose, chin, cheeks. This morning I noticed I had several breakouts on my chin area & it's very upsetting because the facial isn't cheap (which it doesn't matter how much you pay but you expect to get a job well done) & it's not even close to my house as well. I can say all the hype on social media isn't worth it the drive or time. I will not be going to this location again!!!!! i feel so disappointment. read more

This is my second time coming to Healing Therapy Spa for an acne treatment facial. All the staff here are always kind and friendly. Crystal and Mia have been my estheticians and they both are great. Both never tried to sale me any add ons, they evaluated my skin and recommended the correct treatments. Would say services are on the pricer ends but they do have promotional sales occasionally. Took my daughter to get a acne facial. The first visit went well. I signed her up for a 6 month membership. When I signed her up, I was under the impression the cost of the facial included everything a facial requires. The second visit after my daughters facial I get charged an additional $40.00 for a facial jelly and high frequency plus the $69.99 that was already taken from my credit card. When I asked why I was getting charged, it was explained to me that those were extra and were not included in the facial. When I asked what the $69.99 facial included, I was told it included deep cleaning, skin analysis, and extractions and everything else was extra. That was not properly explained to me at the first visit. I've gone to other places were everything is included in the facial, no hidden fees or extras. I paid $69.99 for membership plus $40.00 for extra services total $110.00. The acne facial is $120.00. I was told the savings is in the second monthly visit but I didnt see a savings at all. I paid the $50.00 cancellation fee as I wont be returning. Get everything explained to you before you sign. Pros: The staff was friendly and facials were good. read more

This is an updated review, and it's sad that I had to get to this point. I was a customer for quite some time. I had to cancel mine and my husband's membership when I got laid off. Well I have come to find out that I've been getting charged every month since I cancelled and I have now called 5 times in the last 2 weeks and have been told the credit would be getting handled, and then told the manager would call me back multiple times, and I have yet to get a call back. This is my money you are talking about, so if I want my money back which was incorrectly charged, I should be a top priority. I shouldn't have to call multiple times and chase my money. While I enjoyed the massages I received from Miguel and the friendly staff, I do not appreciate poor management. I do not appreciate being charged for a service I am no longer receiving and I do not appreciate having to chase a credit I should've been issued over 2 weeks ago. With LA Dry weather comes dry skin. I visited this location "Healing Therapy Spa" as I had seen women on social media recommend their facials. I called, booked a facial appointment and went in. Friendly staff, nice location and the facial was incredible!! I had a facias with a Coconut Papaya Enzyme that helped prep my skin for extractions. The Coconut Papaya aside from smelling amazing was very hydrating. I loved that days later my skin still feels hydrated and healthy. They also used High frequencies to tighten pores and my face looks significantly healthier and glowy. My esthetician was MIA and she was great. Definitely recommending to all my friends and family. I'm so dissatisfied with @healingtherapy_ I had high expectations, I went in to get my lashes done and Sandra was great but the tape she used for my bottom lids was horrible! After being there 3 hours it was excruciating painful to remove the tape off my eyes, not only that there was glue left all over my lids, with red marks. I asked for the owner and the guy at the front told me "he was in charge" so I kindly asked for a discount and he refused! I wasn't treated right in my experience, I wasn't happy leaving and they didn't make me feel like I was taken care off. I get compliments on my lashes thanks to Sandra but they should REALLY GO the extra mile for their customers! I don't not recommend this place at all. read more

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. I came to this place on 8/15 for a full body massage. It was done by Miguel, who seems like a very nice man. Makes you feel very comfortable. During the massage, I kept telling him to take it easy because he was putting too much pressure on my back. When I left I was feeling fine, until the next day I felt like I was getting sick. I felt tired, weak, and I got a very bad headache. The next day I couldn't even get up to go to work, I had to call in sick because I couldn't deal with the back pain and the headache ( I felt like my head was going to explode) I ended up going to the ER on 8/19. They said that the pain was due to the pressure that was applied to my back. They gave me some pain killers and muscle relaxers. It's been 5 days now and I'm still in bed with the worst headache and back pain I have ever experienced in my life. I don't think this guy knows what he's doing. I'm gonna go get more test done next week cus this is not normal. I REGRET ever coming to this place. Worst mistake I've ever made. read more

Let me start the first day I went in. I had a very sweet nice girl assist me. Wish I would have gotten her name, they need more like her. She had dark hair past her shoulders. Looks like your pulling up to a DUI meeting or rehabilitation because there was two guys in the parking lot just sitting there on the sidewalk like if they just got out of jail and went straight to that parking lot. But that wasn't the problem. The place once you walk in is super nice, clean, smells nice. The prices are excellent and the girl who did my tan was the same girl working the front counter. It was my first time there and I was soo excited on my way out I told her to book me a facial and massage. Excellent!! Everything was excellent and here comes the bad review. I realized I booked an appointment on Father's Day weekend so I called to re-schedule my spot and I got the rudest B ever. She had NO patience for me while trying to re-schedule.. I'm not an idiot. I wasn't stuttering I was trying to re-schedule and that's your job to help me so why make it difficult for me?? It baffles me when people who work in answering phones can be soo condensing ITS YOUR JOB!! Don't like it find something else.. After that I was done and canceled my appt all together so I definitely won't be going back. She ruined it for the business .. And I made sure to grab her name just to blast her.. So that it won't happen again to the next person. Maybe if a patter continues she will stop be soo rude. KAREN was the name. Sorry healing therapy it wasn't your fault .. But if you have people like that treating your customers poorly eventually you will lose more. I had told soo many people about them till this one person killed it Update: owner called me back apologizing for their employee even offered a complimentary massage.. I was in the middle of chasing and dressing a toddler so my mind was lost when she asked me what exactly happened with her employee. Point is, that's why her establishment has NO bad reviews because they take the time to contact the customer. Rosa was a def pro! my skin was so beautiful and i'm still seeing the effects of her magic as well as my sons skin. our massages were pretty good too, though i wasn't as thrilled as i am with the facial. I have been coming to Healing Therapy Spa now for about 6 months and let me tell you that I absolutely love it. The staff and service are just superb. When I come into Healing Therapy Spa I feel like I am with family. I am always greeted with a hug and a smile. The massages are excellent and they really focus on your bodies needs. I have to say that since coming to Healing Therapy my stress level has gone down significantly and my back doesn't ache and hurt like it used to. My posture has even improved from the Services that both Miguel and Violet have provided. I truly recommend the membership service that includes a 1 hour massage per month at a very good price. You can always add on services and even additional massages at a price lower than you pay for your membership. If you are looking for a place to get massages, facials and other treatment, I honestly suggest you give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
