Mixed opinion about this place, It's a clinic obviously there is a wait but even with an appointment it's long. The people at the back are very helpful and caring. Dr Nick is a great doctor would definitely recommend, I've yet to have an issue with him. Sometimes I overhear the girls at the front they are very loud at times sometimes laughing very inappropriate.. especially the one that sits on the right when you walk in. she's very passive aggressive when you ask questions. Maybe she needs more customer service training.. Apart from that the people who schedule appointments are quick and polite. This is also a pretty clean clinic, it's definitely on the smaller side but not a big deal. Not sure about their physical therapy but it looks neat! read more

Wut a waste of time! I showed up to my 1:00 pm appointment to day. And was told my appointment was in Long Beach. How is that possible I asked, if I've been coming here for all my appointments. I never been to Long Beach. It seems like customer care does what ever they want. And does not take into consideration what a burden this has on a patient that needs care. wow... where do I start... took mom to see the dr. Farias. there was no profesional look to this place or the Dr. Farias. the dr. check out mom and then prescribed meds for her. there were the same meds she has taken for 10 plus years. after two months of taking the meds, he wants her back in the office before he will refill the prescriptions. WHY... there are no changes to her meds. she has been doing very well for over 10 years... and mom is 93 yrs old and very frail and barely able to walk. turns out, he is just trying to get money from her insurance for the visit. a visit last 5 minutes... the staff will not call you to let you know if there are any problems, like having to schedule an appointment in order to approve the meds for the pharmacy. they just leave you hanging and they don't seem to care.. if you need a DR. that is on your side and an office that will inform you when you call and need answers, this is not the place. this place is just after your money and is should be avoided at all cost... read more

After many years of working at my company, I ended up getting hurt at work. I was sent to this place for treatment. But it hadn't been a good experience. To start, the front desk gals are very rude. As soon as you walk in they start yelling at you to out loud to put on your mask. I can understand why. But don't be rude about it. I have seen three doctors here, the surgeon, the chiropractor and the physical therapist. These are awesome, doctors. The best here. The physical therapy room needs to be remodal. Otherwise, it's ok And back to the front desk gals, they give the wrong paper work. This is causing issues with getting paid from the insurance company. On one occasion, I was operated on one day, the paper work given showed me going back to work the next week. I called several times to get this fix but I'm given the round around. I'm gonna ask my company to find a better place. read more

This place is shady. The ortho doctor Chang was yelling out personal HIPPA stuff, but because he was using medical jargon/acronym only my boyfriend noticed because he's an RN. Yelling out "Oh we got a DJD". DJD." repeatedly. Degenerative joint disease. Which to me felt like he's blaming pre existing conditions or the patients genetics. Dr Chang was rude and arrogant. He boasted repeatedly "I don't listen to anyone, not you." anytime I tried to address something he's overlooking he just would talk over you. He pawed at and yanked on my shoulder, patted the injured area way to firmly, "does this hurt?" No bedside manner. He didn't have any of my new patient files, imaging etc and put the task on me to run back home and retrieve medical CDs of X-rays, MRI or anything I have. I'm still unsure what's the deal with not having medical files because my attorney and insurance set up this 1 month ago. I came back less than 2 hours later: to finish a proper evaluation. I could only find my original ultrasound from August-Sept 2021 and not the MRI images. "Ultrasounds never show anything" "I'm not going to search through 500 pages of documents to find facts, that's all that matters is facts" before he even opened the ultrasound file. The QME who did the ultrasound can see clear and visible abnormalities indicating that it was a recent injury. This same Ultrasound I had 3 other doctors agree as well. End of the line Dr. Chang is supposed to be the deciding factor, the final say, and he wants to order another MRI )this being a year long injury on work comp.) Approval would take months. He's not checking with his office staff on where my MRI image is. He won't diagnose me without the facts. Why another MRI? Hunt down the files. Who dropped the ball? Check with reception and intake! I would never let this man cut into my body. He's got a god complex, smugness, arrogance about him and if my surgery went wrong blaming his patients for not healing properly or preexisting factors *hint DJD More likely post traumatic arthritis which with "proper treatment" can go away on its own quiet often but untreated can progress to DJD. I went through many forms of physical therapy, chiropractor and acupuncture with no luck. After reading reviews and seeing Joy "office customer service" responses to real patients on Yelp it's clear that place does not nurture health and the give backhanded apologies. I'm contacting my work comp attorney to find a new doctor asap. read more

Had shoulder surgery in 2021 and not only they did not make my injury better but nearly two years after and my shoulder is worse! When I had the surgery I had nothing wrong with my bicep on the same shoulder l, now I have difficulty putting on pants due to the pain, I have trouble taking showers, when I pick up something the wrong way or too heavy my shoulder and arm starts to cramp up very badly! Sadly it is a workman comp and had to use this place! Now do to the bad job they did my other shoulder has tears and other issues with it due to the over usage of it because I have trouble with the my other shoulder! I was contacted by this clinic to settle a bill for a visit from 2013. I didn't recall the visit, so I asked them to provide a document that has my signature on it (in case someone got a hold of my information and used it there). They called me probably about 5 times and each time I asked them to send me a document with my signature on it. The representative would just say "Ok" and hang up. But I got a letter from a collection agency last month asking me to pay the principal plus interest. I was dumbfounded that they sent this to collections after all my requests for proof that I visited the clinic. read more

Each time I have been seen by Dr. Nic the wait time is right around 2 hours. You then have a 3 minute conversation where medication is immediately offered without any physical examination or review. Ater multiple visits it was identified that my MRI was not in their possession and I was being treated without it. The neurologist himself recommended I complain about the mismanagement of the clinic. He also berated the pregnant receptionist directly in front of me for not requesting my MRI for a second time and not having the appropriate staffing available. It's not the time, it's our health put in jeopardy when oversights like this are made. read more

The PAs I've seen are great except The customer service is very bad called 6 times and they dropped my call I asked them To Take down my call back number and they never called me back o tried 10 times calling and they would Answer and hang up very sad and unnecessary. The physical therapy staff is absolutely the greatest starting with Dr. G, Samara and Doctor Mojgan and Aaron. They are very professional and flexible with my schedule as well as understanding my physical therapy needs. They also accept quite a bit of insurance carriers from workers comp, such as York, Department of Labor etc....I usually don't like therapy, but coming here feels like home the physical therapy employees converse with me as well as make sure I'm doing my exercises correctly. The staff gives you special one on one attention and they listen to me. The facility is very clean and their number one accomplishment is to make sure the patient is comfortable. My only disappointment is the Consultation side. I've waited a long time to see my Doctor and he is so slow I don't like him, but I guess for now he will do. I didn't even know he had prescribed more therapy. He takes forever in the room, and he doesn't really seem like he cares. The 5 stars is strictly for the Therapy Staff, Dr. G, Samara, Dr. Mojgan and Aaron. If you need therapy due to workers comp or any personal injury ask your doctors for a prescription to HEALTHPOINTE. This is the place!!! The positive energy here is contagious. The staff can hear what you are saying without you saying it; The Doctors listen to you with both their bodies and their ears, and exude a positive radiance without necessarily saying or doing anything. My personal opinion and observation is, there isn't any organization at this facility and the staff does not communicate well. I was sent here for an employee health eval which includes (PPD, URINE DS, EYE EXAM, PHYSICAL EXAM, AND LIFT TEST). The front desk staff were not welcoming they did not greet me as I entered. There were 2 young ladies working the front desk and after one assisted the person in front of me both ladies left the desk, one was making copies and the other just standing there watching her with their backs to the front desk, no "hello I'll be with you in just a moment or anything" I mean does it really take 2 people to make copies. I was "checked in" no wait time communicated no explanation of how things work at this facility nothing. Seating is limited due to social distancing which is totally fine but while I was putting my ID and stuff back I needed somewhere to put my bag down before I started to fill out paperwork, I used an empty chair near the desk and the lady shooed me away and said if there is no seating that I needed to go outside (like damn can I just put my stuff away I have my hands full). After filling out the paper work I ended up waiting outside and asked to be called via my cell phone when they were ready. I waited 2 hours! Like there was no communication on how long the wait would be and when I asked after 2 hours the lady was rude about telling me how many people were in front of me or how much longer the wait would be! At the almost 3 hour mark I was called back. I saw the provider for 2 seconds! and was "physically cleared" to work. yeah ok! and then asked to come back later that day or different day for my lift test because PT was going on break. Are yall serious! I've spent way too long here with poor service. I personally wouldn't visit this office but it was a requirement by my job to be cleared. Read the other reviews posted on this location. see for yourself and make your own judgement. I saw my primary care doctor (at a different office) and needed to get x-rays on my knee. I called to try and schedule an appt. and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes. The guy who answered kept asking me general questions and putting me on hold, and when I asked what was taking so long, he said they were backed up and he wasn't in charge of front desk duties so he had to ask others for the answer. The entire phone call took 15 minutes and he eventually told me to just come in at 3pm for a walk-in as that would be a slower time of the day. I walk in at 3pm and I fill out some forms, tell them I need an x-ray, and I pay my $40 co pay up front. I also gave my Rx for the xray to the front desk staff. After about 30-40 minutes of waiting, they tell me that they don't offer the xray service by itself, and in order for me to get it, I would have to pay another $40 copay and see their doctor. Since I already saw my primary care doctor and paid for him, I did not want to pay again just to see another doctor. I decided to cancel and ask for a refund of my original copayment. That took another 10 minutes to process. I was out the door at 4pm. This 1 hour waste of time could have been completely avoided, if: a) The guy who took my phone call had listened to what I was saying and/or asked the right questions b) Instead of asking me for the copayment up front, the front desk staff knew the correct procedures and let me know beforehand that I would have to see a doctor again The waiting room has comfortable chairs and 2 TV's, but overall the place seems to be run rather inefficiently. read more

Amazing! Words can't possibly say how thankful I am for the care and treatment I have received from here. I was hitting up a local parkour/ freerunning meet, when I accidentally flared up the nerves in my back during my run. I assume this was due to the fact that I didn't bother stretching beforehand. Awesome PT Staff! Very friendly and patient. I hate exercising or working out but the physical therapy crew here motivates me. 1st day and looking to recover. They make going to the Dr.s Fun. Dr Ghazi and Veronica made me feel welcomed without having that intimidation or fear of Drs and/Or therapy. She didn't push me or my muscles to where it was uncomfortable. Avoid Healthpointe and Dr Katz. They have left me with a torn knee and in pain for over 4 months. Completely unresponsive to me or my insurance provider. The call center will hang up on you after waiting 3 hours for a voicemail. They have taken my money with multiple doctor visits with nothing done to improve my knee. I am writing this review as I sit in the doctors office. The doctor I saw today is an older gentlemen, who claims to be the only doctor here. (I am definitely getting his name before I leave to update) As soon as he walked in his voice/tone with me was rude. He stood up twice and asked if I wanted his help or not. I went in today for a physical/lift test for a new employer. I had a TB that was/is required of me. I filled out the survey and handed it to reception whom ultimately gave it to the doctor. He took one look at it and said "no we are doing a TB test." I expressed since he couldn't sign it off that I would do my test with my primary doctor who is closer. His response "why?! You must live close...your employer must be close if you came here. No! I'm not approving anything!" I asked him to please change his tone and he rolled his eyes at me. He kept saying he couldn't approve it and wouldn't continue until I was cleared. 3 nurses looked at my paperwork and wondered why he didn't approve it. All of them were confused. They apologized. I have never been treated with such disrespect before by a doctor. I kept asking to speak to someone else and he wasn't allowing it....saying he was the only one. Now I've learned that he's crossed off some areas of my paperwork to turn into my employer..... All the other staff members were kind and were apologizing for the doctor. Some said "that's how he is...." Side note: I'm not a regular patient, I was a walk in so I understand I was probably just thrown into his schedule. read more
