This place is wonderful!! I didn't even know that all the bread was gluten free it's so tasty. I also love all the great healthy snacks and specialty items that they have for sale. I got some vegan coconut "yogurt" that was absolutely to die for! They also have amazing cold brew and smoothies. The powerhouse smoothie was our dessert and it was amazing! Perfectly sweet and also very filling, it could have been an meal on its own and my picky kids loved it too! Double win!! read more

Surprised an sad to find that Healthy Creations is not keeping up with its quality. Had a falafel with extra avocado and you could hardly find the avocado. The wrap was so dry and I ordered a teff wrap that always had a slight sweet taste and my partner ordered a coconut wrap. Both wraps tasted the same . When I brought it up with one of the servers he told me I must have a cold because the wraps are all the same. This was not the reply we expected since we have been customers for many years. Wow what happened to this place/? We tried the hostess cupcake again being big fans we found it so dry. Some old friends were by chance sitting at the next table and one agreed the bake goods had really gone down hill and were dry. She had purchased 4 peanut butter bars and told us they were dry no one could eat them and definitely not the usual great baking. There was more salad and less filling in both our wraps. For the price we will now pass unless we hear the place has got back on track. Much better service and quality at Good On Ya or baked goods at darshan Cafe Encinitas. read more

I really liked this place! So healthy but so delicious leaving a very guilt free feeling after your meal. I came here for lunch with a group of friends and after their meal, they felt like it was the "right" portion size. Parking was plentiful and easy to find and the restaurant wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I tried the algae shot (ahh!)--and it tasted like the sea.. Haha (thankful that they gave out an orange to help chase this down). For my meal I had the falafel hummus salad which was pretty good. I was rather confused as to how to eat it though..? It seemed like I was supposed to wrap it to eat it but I just wanted to dig my fork into a big hearty salad haha.. Nonetheless it was still really good! read more

I love this place and would go here all the time if I could. Paleo kale caesar with chicken, their paleo bowls, gluten free chicken pot pie... the list of deliciousness goes on. If you're doing a large to-go order, make sure you check it before you take it home, we order from them at my office all the time and there are usually at least 2-3 mistakes (or things missing) with each order. Price is high, but the quality of food and level of deliciousness is superb. I often can eat 3/4's of the salad, and take some home for the next day. read more

I am so excited to have found a local restaurant where the entire place is gluten-free. They get top scores for that alone. The Mediterranean Chicken Panini (sans goat cheese) had great flavors and texture variations that you'd expect from a sandwich. We also ordered the Breakfast Tacos which weren't as exciting. Of course we ordered without the cheese and didn't add NutRizo or bacon. We had to rely on the Chipotle Crema to carry the taco flavors and it fell flat--it didn't have much flavor and the crema is better described as liquid. The chocolate chip cookie was good, nothing crazy exciting, but always nice to find a GF/DF treat. The serving size was good for a few tasteful bites for two. The price in comparison to their other cookies was good and why we ordered it. Then I got over zealous in the options available and ordered the pecan cookie the staff recommended. The cookie is mashed with wonderful spices, nuts, and oils. The texture is not cookie-like (more like mashed as described above) and there is nothing pretty about it, but it's good and I'd order it again if I care to treat myself to an expensive cookie. The service was welcoming and helpful to newcomers. Everything came just as we ordered it. We looking forward to trying more selections! read more

Had to update my review. I think when I came here before I just chose something I didn't end up liking. I've been back here 2-3 times recently as a part of my new healthier lifestyle when I needed lunch at work and didn't bring my own. I have to say, I really like this place now. It's my understanding that almost everything they are using is organic (+) and it's all super fresh, creative, and most of all Yummy! My favorite thing here right now is the roasted veggie bowl, I usually get it with the cauliflower rice instead of quinoa (but I'm sure it's delish either way) he only negative about it, is that I have Super rank breath afterwards (-) but I am usually just hiding away in my office anyways, and then I just brush my teeth after I eat. Not a deal breaker! If you are looking for a healthier option give this place a try. But it does get super busy around lunch and it's a tiny restaurant!! If I'm eating there I try to get there no later than 11:45. If you are just grabbing takeout you are fine either way obviously! read more

There are so many positives about this place that the list could go on and on. FOOD: Everything. I haven't had one bad experience or something that wasn't absolutely delicious. The menu ranges from breakfast, to lunch, to grab and go meals, to bakery items, to wraps, to breads... There's so much variety. My suggestion would be to go through the whole menu before settling on your favorite, because almost every dish has something you haven't tried before/or an innovative play on a common food ("nutrizo" chorizo, "cashew tzatziki", etc). It'll blow your mind. DRINKS ON TAP: Several Kefir Sodas, Kombuchas, and Nitro Cold Brews on tap. About 10 different bottled kombuchas. Several other options like juices and waters.
