TL;DR: Best dental experience I've had. Welcoming, zero…read morejudgment, and very calming setup with thoughtful touches like blankets and TV. Dr. Modkins explained everything clearly with no pressure. After 6 years without a cleaning, I expected soreness but had none even the next day. Highly recommend for anyone with dental anxiety. From the moment Stephanie greeted me at the door, I felt welcomed and at ease. Even something as small as having my favorite Liquid Death water stocked in the waiting room made a difference. The techs (I wish I could remember their names!) were so easy to talk to, it honestly made me forget why I was there in the first place. Once I got back, I was given a weighted blanket and a comfy neck pillow, and I even got to choose something to watch on the TV while I was laid back. At one point I joked that it felt like a pediatric dentist because it was so cozy, especially with the TV on the ceiling. Dr. Modkins took the time to explain everything clearly and never made me feel rushed, which is something I've experienced at larger chain offices. The nerd in me loved all the newer technology and the digital scanning of my teeth. I really appreciated being walked through all my options, including what she personally would do, without feeling pressured into anything. They also provided a full cost breakdown before starting, so there were no surprises at the end, which I really value. I went in for a broken permanent retainer removal and a cleaning after not having been to the dentist in 6 years due to anxiety. I was honestly very nervous, but I never once felt judged or shamed. After that long, I expected my mouth to be really tender after a cleaning, but even the next day I had no pain. This was hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. My husband has the same anxiety, and I'm going to do my best to bring him here too. It's so close to our house, and I'll definitely be back.

In the past, I've felt that many dentists are pushy about add-ons or services that aren't always necessary, but Dr. Brooke took the time to clearly explain what I should be aware of and what best practices would be for the long-term health of my teeth. I never felt pressured -- just informed and supported. They also truly understand that every patient is different and want you to have a great experience. The weighted blankets, neck pillow, and essential oils were such thoughtful touches that really helped ease my nerves and anxiety. Dr. Brooke made me feel comfortable, understood, and completely judgment-free -- which means a lot, especially when it comes to something as personal and important as your dental health. Safe to say I've found my dentist, and I'll definitely be back!

Dr Kelly Kim took the time to explain why my tooth cracked and what was needed to repair. I purchased an annual basic care program (as I no longer carry dentist insurance), and to repair the tooth and into a crown the overall price was very fair. My nerves are stable in everything life except for dental work. They offered relax oxygen and made room for my repair the following Monday! I did not even feel the shots to numb up my mouth and the procedure went very well. Dr Kim is a excellent dentist and her bedside manner really made me feel relaxed and I am more than pleased for their effort to prioritize my mini emergency. I feel like I finally found my local dentist that cares about people in the community and having them take the time to listen to my concerns they made me feel relaxed and fully exceeded my expectations. The office staff also works well from the initial call to the final checkout. If you are not pleased with your dentist or looking, I strongly recommend this practice. The you Navo Family Dentistry for taking care of me when my Friday was abruptly changed. Regards, RT

The front desk staff greeted me warmly and professionally, immediately setting a positive tone. I was then brought back for my initial diagnosis by the dental assistant, Denise. She was incredibly thorough, friendly, and took the time to explain what she was doing throughout the process. One thing that really impressed me was how advanced the technology was. The imaging and diagnostic tools they used were clearly state-of-the-art, which made the evaluation process feel very precise and reassuring. At many medical offices, you can feel like just another number, rushed in, rushed out, and treated more like part of an assembly line than a patient. That was absolutely not the case here. Every member of the team was personable and genuinely focused on patient care. I never once felt hurried. Instead, the staff took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable along the way. After the initial x-rays and testing revealed the issue, Dr. Berto came chairside. His chairside manner was exceptional. He carefully walked me through the images, explained exactly what the tests revealed, and discussed the procedure in a way that was both clear and reassuring. Again, it didn't feel like I was just another patient moving through the system, he took the time to make sure I fully understood what was happening and what to expect. The procedure itself was completed in less than an hour, Dr. Berto kept checking in with me to ensure I was ok, and the entire team continued to be attentive, caring, and professional throughout. Afterward, the post-procedure instructions were explained clearly, and both Denise and Dr. Berto made sure I felt comfortable before leaving. I'll also add something that really surprised me: a day later I have zero pain from the procedure, and more importantly the original tooth pain that brought me in is completely gone. That may just be my personal experience, but it's definitely worth noting. Overall, the combination of high-end technology, exceptional professionalism, and genuinely personable staff made this one of the best dental experiences I've had. I would highly recommend North Texas Endodontics to anyone needing endodontic care.
