The owner, Inna, was amazing. She knew exactly what I wanted and how. There was no confusion on what I was saying and what she knew she had to do. I didn't have a ton that needed to be done but some had some tricky seams to work around. Inna did an insanely good job. Even the way she made the bustle was unique and easy to understand. Sadly I rescheduled my wedding before my last fitting. But the girls allowed me to pick up the dress and reschedule the fitting in 2021 if needed with no penalties! They really cared and took care of this COVID Bride. Definitely recommend this wonderful place!

My wedding reception outfit was an Indian-western fusion dress made in India according to my measurements. When it arrived, it didn't fit me well and it wasn't what I envisioned. Through a consult with Inna, we were able to come up with a great plan on how to alter the dress that was still cost effective and didn't totally rip the whole thing apart. The end result was amazing and it fit me amazingly. My more traditional off white mermaid cut strapless wedding dress was altered to absolute perfection and my curves had never looked better. I originally wanted my dress as tight as possible around my hips but Inna suggested to leave some room in the hip area so I could last the whole day in the outfit and she was right! I was much more comfortable with that little wiggle room. Her turn around time was very quick, quality of the alterations were incredible, especially with the delicate silk fabric of my Indian outfit and the cost was very reasonable too.

The entire experience was like a well-oiled machine…read more I called to see about booking an appointment and they gave me all the info I needed in one sentence-- that it was drop in, they'd complete the visit in 30 mins, make the alterations in one week, just bring the dress and the shoes. I was seen immediately when I walked in despite it being mid-day on a Saturday. The tailor clearly knew what he was doing and was able to suggest solutions to help fix all of the issues I was worried about. I was very impressed by how quickly and expertly he made the necessary pins, marks, and suggestions. When I picked up the dress they had me try it to see whether more modifications were needed. It looked great, however a few dark marks had appeared on the dress since I dropped it off. To fix this, they got it dry cleaned within a few days. Overall it was a great experience!

I am a classical musician who performs a lot, so after my old black suit started to deteriorate, I decided to try out Valentin's for a higher quality suit. His in-house brand is fantastic in its quality and value. I am tall and thin (6'1", 165 lbs.), and the more "European" cut fit perfectly. He really knows what he is doing, and is accommodating to all sizes and budgets. After this, I also bought a navy blue suit from him, which I asked to have shipped to my apartment in Baltimore. However, due to covid, shipping was delayed. Valentin called me personally at every step of the shipping process to let me know where my suit was and when he estimated it would arrive. When it arrived, I didn't even need to have it pressed, as it was clearly packed by someone who knew what they were doing. Rochester is lucky to have someone as kind, knowledgable, and sincere as Valentin. I suggest you give him a try!
