I never understand why people are scared to go to the Dentist; at my typical teeth cleaning yesterday, I realized it's because I have an awesome group taking care of my teeth. Dr. Beverly Claiborne, Jana, and the rest of the staff are simply great. Beverly is gentle and explains things in lame men's terms so I 'get it' while Jana always makes appointments that work with my schedule... then texts a few days ahead to remind me! This team is true gold. They are always professional, always friendly, always on time and actually make going to the dentist enjoyable. I really couldn't ask for much more. Dr. Claiborne is by far the best Dentist in the industry!!! She is very clear in her explanation on what needs to be done and sets a plan of action of what are the most pressing needs and takes care of them by priority. I was totally impressed that she only sees one patient at a time which means you will get her full attention and care. I had several fillings done and I did not feel any discomfort before, during, or after the procedure. Jana her office assistant is so welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable that you forget your at a dentist office. I was truly impressed by her sincerity and passion! 5 stars doesn't seem like enough for Dr. Claiborne, she's an excellent dentist. Like most people I don't enjoy going to the dentist because it's usually painful, but with Dr. Claiborne it's totally different, she's gentle, patient and extremely skilled. I've had quite a bit of work done with her from basic cleanings to crowns and I've been happy with her work each time. I hate needles but the way Dr. Claiborne administers the medicine you don't even feel the needle...seriously, it's virtually painless. I've since moved almost an hour away from her office, yet I still continue to travel to Fremont because I REFUSE to go to another dentist. Finding a new dentist after having had the same dentist your whole life is not easy! But Dr. Claiborne was so thorough and clear. She made me feel at ease after having a prior awful visit elsewhere. Dr. Claiborne sent me to a collections office for a $261.00 bill from June of 2013. More specifically, I had a procedure in June of 2013, paid my "estimate" portion and left. I was unaware that there was still some sort of a balance due once insurance paid, but i was never told. 2013 ended and I was never contacted about this balance on my account. 2014 came and went and I was still never contacted regarding this balance on my account. Near the end of 2015 I was sent a "write-off" statement that was very unclear. After several emails and calls with Jana I was still unsure about this unpaid balance from 2013. At the time Sarah who managed the billing for the office obviously did not process the billing correctly and now Jana is having to clean it up several years later. Due to the excessive amount of time that has passed it has been impossible for me to research transactions from 2013. Jana (i assume the new billing manager) has been reasonable and mentioned to me how sincerely sorry she was about having to make these calls to collect bills from so long ago, she also explained that I wasn't the only one with this situation. I paid the portion I was told I owed at the time of service as did my insurance company. It's totally inappropriate and outrageous that they are now asking for more money after so much time has past. Nor is it okay that they are now sending me to collections for a bill I already paid. read more

Needed to find a new dentist in Fremont that was an in network dentist. After running through a list of candidates, I decided to select Dr. Claiborne. They are updating their website but the current one sold me on how professional they are. I feel I made a GREAT choice. Dr. Claiborne, Laura & Jana are fabulous and professional! I get to be first! I have been a patient of Dr Claiborne for the last 5 years, ever since I moved out here. I went to her on recommendation of my boyfriend and thankfully we got married or I would have asked for the dentist in our break up! Dr. Claiborne is an amazing professional and really knows her stuff. She is a perfectionist which is critical in a dentist and she does her work right. I especially love that no matter what happens to my mouth, I never leave there feeling guilty like I have from other dentists. She is also really good at explaining what she is doing and why she is doing it. She is also always learning new things and researching new techniques so that she is always using new and improved methods instead of just the same thing since 1999. I have always hated going to the dentist . . . Dr. Claiborne changed that! Having weak teeth no matter how well you care for them you still have ongoing problems. Dr. Claiborne is probably the best dentist I ever had! She's an excellent dentist! Besides the awesome quality of her work, she's also a very caring individual. She's gentle, kind, shows a genuine concern about my well-being. Sarah is very nice, helpful, and does an amazing job managing the office. Laura is also very nice, sweet, and gentle. On travel up to S.F. my 9 year old son chipped his two front teeth in a hotel pool. The next morning this office got us right in. They were gentle and thorough with my son. They realized he had a bit of nerve showing and referred us to a Childrens Dentist office. The front office staff went above and beyond in helping us. She got on the phone and explained our situation to the other office (had to have my daughter in S.F. by 4pm for a big girl scout event we were traveling from S. Cal to get to). They let me key in the paperwork right there at their computer and she even ran out the front door when we were leaving to give my little guy a hug! She reassured him that he'd by fine and helped make him feel better. Honestly, just when I think customer service is all gone it's nice to see that it isn't. Your office was wonderful and truly helped me when i was on travel alone with my kids. You made a bad situation as good as it could be. Thank you all very much! read more
