Dulcinea put together a precious arrangement for the daughter and a breathtaking one for the mom. I called Heather Floral late in the afternoon for a last minute birthday arrangement that I needed with same day delivery AND very specific flowers. After calling 10 other floral places in the area that couldn't fulfill my request Qazi at Heather Floral answered and was ABOVE AND BEYOND accommodating. He had every flower I needed and worked past closing time to put my floral arrangement together to my liking. I should add this arrangement was for my boss so I had to be way more meticulous and hands on with the order than I ever would be for something I ordered for myself. My fiancé planned a special evening for us at Il Tinello in the city. He wanted to order flowers for me, but did not want to use the services of 1-800-flowers when he found Heather Floral. He requested the flowers be delivered for a 7:30 dinner reservation and wanted to include a very personal message on the card, which Ulfat requested via text message. The flowers were delivered at a time when most florist were closed on a Saturday evening and were beautifully packed with a box to hold the vase for the ride back home to New Jersey. The ribbons matched the color of the roses and there was a bow on the card inside, which was neatly hand written. The inside of the vase was lined with plant leaves in a diagonal pattern, concealing the stems of my roses. Ulfat is more than a florist; he is an artist. I visited the shop by walk-in. They are super nice. Especially the lady! I sent 3 flower arrangements: Sunset Sensations through them on our first visit. And next day, we decided to order another 2 flower arrangements: Pastel Dream. I brought my own message cards to them and they put a nice ribbon on each card. They sent me photos of the flowers before the delivery and I asked if they can fix and apply what I suggested. (I was so picky about color scheme etc.) Most importantly, all of them are delivered on time. The owner is very easy to communicate and listens to customer's demands. I never ordered flowers before over the phone site unseen I tend to be a bit picky and fussy when it pertains to floral arrangements. Spoke with the owner Mr. Qazi and he reassured me that it will be in good hands. Seeing how this was a gift for my mother who at the time was going through some hard times and was a bit down. I was looking for a same day service in the NYC and was extremely lucky to phone here after having no answer or no same day service at different locations. Heather Floral delivered a beautiful bouquet to me on my birthday morning - from my daughter - but the hotel front desk did not send it up or notify me. A day later when my daughter wondered if I had received the flowers, after many calls, we discovered they were still at the front desk. Heather Floral went out of their way to try to find the missing bouquet, called me to apologize (even though it was not their fault) and even sent me a second bouquet because they were concerned the flowers would not be fresh after sitting at the hotel front desk for over a day. Heather Floral helped us send the MOST beautiful arrangement to my mother. She lives on the east side and the shop is on the west side but that had no impact in delivery.
