READ BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I ordered some flowers to be delivered for my Managers father who was ill. I thought I would support a small local business in the area where there flowers would be delivered. Obviously, I called Heaven Scent Flowers for the "Vision of Beauty" arrangement. This arrangement for what was shown online was $75 and has 2 ginger towering over the arrangement, 2 birds of paradise, 3 glossy anthurium, one 5 sprigs of orchids and a protea. When I called the woman was very nice. I called to tell her about the arrangement and she stated whe had 5 different websites but could make whatever arrangement I wanted. I emailed her the web address of the arrangement I was looking to have made assuming all would be great. I should of taken the comment about the 5 websites as a hint! I received a call the next day stating the arrangement hadnt been delivered. She stated that she would upgrade the arrangement to a deluxe since she dint deliver the day before. I thought that was an extremely nice gesture and said that would be great. So, I received an email from my manager with a picture of the arrangement saying think you. Remember the arrangement was upgraded to deluxe. The "as Shown" arrangement online had 2 ginger towering over the arrangement, 2 birds of paradise, 3 glossy anthurium, one 5 sprigs of orchids and 1 protea. The arrangement in the image from my manager? 1 glossy anthurium, 2 tulips, 1 chopped ginger, 5 orchid sprigs and 1 protea. Does that sound upgraded to you? sounds and look more downgraded to me. I came here because I didn't have a lot of time to get my corsage/boutonniere for prom, and because I was unsatisfied with another florist I went to a few years back. Well, Heaven Scent Flowers is probably the best florist in town! Lisa was absolutely amazing. As soon as I walked in, she greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable. She hand-picked some decorations to go with the roses that I wanted, and added some extra things for free that really made a difference. She was very diligent about calling me to tell me when my flowers were ready for pickup, too. But oh my goodness... the arrangement! It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! She even added some glitter to my corsage, and it looks so good. I've never been so impressed by flowers before. I'm so excited to wear it to prom!! By the way, I think the address is wrong on Yelp. I ordered flowers for delivery a week ago through their website and have not received them. I made sure to select a day they were open over the holidays on their website. On the day of scheduled delivery, I got a call saying they couldn't fill the order and have been given the run-around for 5 days. I can not reach them via phone or email. Business hours says it's open. When I get there it's not. I go to the door to see if there is a sign or anything posted, for example brb 10 min or something. I look inside and there is a designer putting something together. She sees me but just confirms the place is closed. Won't ever try to come here again. Lisa is absolutely amazing at what she does! I saw her shop as I was driving on university Ave and just thought the name and shop looked so cute so me and my fiancé at the time decided to pop in just to get flower ideas for our wedding. Although she was closed she saw us at the door and welcomed us right in. Her shop was super cute, has beautiful arrangements displayed and she had such a fun , sweet personality that we decided to go with her. Ordered flowers for a friend getting out of the hospital and immediately received an email confirmation that included the line "We'll handle your order with very special care" So far so good - However, we eventually found out that no delivery was ever made - but only because the charge for the flowers 'disappeared'. Nobody from the florist contacted us - ever! After several phone calls to see what happened, we were finally able to speak to someone almost 5 days after the missed delivery - and still, no reason given, no apologies, no attempt to fix the situation, not even an email confirmation of the mystery cancellation. Our order was 'dropped' and that was the end of the conversation. Go ANYWHERE else - we went to Rainbow Flowers. Cost more to deliver, but worth it. read more

9 days ago, I purchased a bouquet for my wife to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. Lisa custom made a beautiful custom arrangement with a dozen red roses and a whole bunch of stargazers -- both are my wife's favorite flowers. Needless to say, my wife was thrilled. It seemed like the stargazers kept coming every day, as they opened into full bloom in a staggared order. It was amazing. And the roses may well be the best I have every purchased. Strong and beautiful, lasting a long time. While I have rarely seen roses last more than five days, we still have seven that look great and there are still stargazers blooming. I recently lost a loved one. I wanted the best flowers for my father. When I talked to Lisa she assured me that they would be the BEST. She did not disappoint. They were beautiful. Everyone remarked at how beautiful they were. I had told the funeral home that I would not be taking the flowers home with me. But, they were so nice I could not leave them. Paid $80 for a specific arrangement. Got a call with "we don't have some of those flowers. Can we do a different one?" I said, "As long as I get a picture sent to me to make sure it is equivalent to what I just paid for." They agreed. Then didn't send a picture and just delivered what they wanted. Good luck if you use this florist. Wouldn't advise them for flowers for a funeral especially. I read good reviews & gave them a shot. They Disappointed me twice with the one & only order I paid for. When I spend hours finding the right arrangement online, I expect it to look like the photo. I stressed that point when I ordered & I was so disappointed when I actually saw what I purchased. If you don't have all the flowers to make a specific advertised arrangement, it's the florists responsibility to let you know this Before it's made up "their" way & delivered out! I let the first issue with them go cuz I know mistakes happen. They missed delivering my order all together! Yes, never got made, never got delivered! Good thing I called to check on it. Strange thing is, I called this florist prior to the order even being made-up to make sure the exact arrangement would be fulfilled & that this arrangement & the persons receiving it was very important to me. Also a good thing they weren't ordered for a funeral!!!! Lisa, the great sounding woman I dealt with-compensated this mistake w/a box of chocolates. She also said she would upgrade my flowers at no charge for the error. When I finally saw it I was let-down Big-time! Wasn't even close to the photo I saw originally.
