I had a really great experience here overall. The salon is spotless, welcoming, and well run. From start to finish, the service felt attentive, and the staff made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. One standout detail was the hot tea. It was absolutely amazing. I had two glasses and was honestly a little addicted. It was so good that I would genuinely buy it to go if that were an option. Little touches like that really elevate the experience. I also loved that they provide cuticle oil at the end of the service. It smelled incredible and seemed like very good quality, which I truly appreciated. The location is convenient, with open parking in a shared plaza, making it easy and stress free to get in and out. Pricing feels fair for the quality of work and overall service. I've now been here twice, and the second visit was largely the same positive experience. The nails came out great again. The only downside was that the nail tech I had the second time smelled strongly of cigarettes, which took away slightly from the experience. I also had to return a few days later to fix one nail, which they did handle. That said, I would still go back. Next time, I would simply request the first set of technicians I had, as that experience stood out the most. Overall, this is still a place I would recommend and plan to continue visiting. read more

Easy parking and super friendly staff. I was able to walk in without any wait, which was a big plus. The space is cute and nicely decorated (there's even a fish tank), and while some of the furniture shows a little wear, everything felt clean and organized. The $35 pedicure was honestly a great deal for the quality--I was really happy with how it turned out. My shellac manicure looked perfect at first (Friday and Saturday), but by Sunday three nails were already lifting. By Tuesday, eight out of ten were lifting or pretty chipped. They do have a 10-day warranty, so I went back and got them redone for free, which I appreciated. That said, during the redo, three of my cuticles were cut badly enough to bleed, and even a few days later the redness and scabbing kind of take away from the overall look. My eyebrows also ended up slightly uneven, which I didn't notice until I got home and had to fix myself. Overall, there were definitely some positives, but with so many other salons around, I probably wouldn't come back based on this experience. read more

I went in to get a full set of nails with a gel builder overlay and a basic pedicure. They were out of the color that I wanted on my nails and feet. So I went with a French manicure on my nails in a white milky light frost on my toes. I enjoyed the vibe in the salon. It was very chilled and they have good wine. Update 16 days later... most of the chrome has come off ($20 up charge) and the builder gel is chipping and cracking. They are really clean which gives them the 3 stars- and I wanted to love it. I ended up coming back to get them reshaped but they are still not the best looking and they were confused as to what was wrong with them. I also had to come back to repaint a toe. The place seems like people love it and they are huge with plenty of people. Not sure if I can give them another try for $100. Overall my experience was great. They hit me in quickly and my pedicure was ok. It could be more straight along the bottom and sides to look more professional. But it's decent. My color powder fill on my nails is nice. Looks good. I do think they nickel and dime you and charge for every little things but that's becoming the norm. They were nice and polite. I didn't have an appointment and they were super accommodating event it being a weekend before a major holiday. I chose to get a gel manicure and pedicure. They were fast and efficient for the most part. I had some smudging with my manicure but the staff attempted to cover with a clear coat which didn't work out too well. I think the gel didn't cure all of the way. I don't like to complain so unfortunately didn't say anything. I chose an a color outside of my typical color palette. Tried this salon for the first time, so perhaps I was just unlucky. However, both technicians seemed rushed during my manicure and pedicure. I had a hard gel infill on my hands and asked for a very natural look, especially since I have small hands and nails, but the gel was applied very thick and bulky. My toe polish was also ruined because it hadn't fully dried, and the pedicure I selected included a 15-minute massage that felt very rushed and was barely done. It was more like a quick back rub while another technician was working on my hands, which made it difficult for her to do the massage properly without shaking my hand. read more

The hot stones focused on hard-to-reach little muscles in my feet. I asked the tech not to make my nails too short or square and not to cut the cuticles and sides but that's exactly what she did and kept doing. I finally had to ask someone else what was going on, and that's when I found out she didn't speak any English, which is fine but has I known I would have had someone translate first. I asked for a refund as my nails looked worse leaving than coming in, and the manager tried to offer me a 15% discount for the next time. Absolutely not. I tip more than that. Not to mention she lightly shaped my nails before applying the acrylic then filed my nails to the shape REMOVING all the polish from the sides of my nails. She told me I was "wasting" her time after I asked if I could change the color then in a condescending tone told me "it'll just come off anyway". Today was my mom and I's first time visiting this nail salon and I will with confidence NEVER recommend it to anyone. I treated my mom to a mani pedi for her birthday and let me tell you, from the second we walked in the vibes were completely off. Every color she picked wasn't available, her technicians gave her attitude and rushed her to "just pick a color," for the prices we were charged I would've thought there would be better service. We both did the Matcha Glow Pedicure, which includes a shoulder massage, and in that 5 minute massage, she was left with the biggest bruises on her back. The website clearly states first time customers receive a 10% discount and also 10% off for birthdays. Neither discount was honored. And when I asked about the complimentary cuticle oil, they told me I had to leave a 5 star review. Don't let these misguided ratings fool you, they just want to take your money and get you in and out. read more

Their prices vary without reasonable explanation. One time my dip nails were $50 and the next visit they were $55. I was told that the extra charge was due to cutting and reshaping my nails. My nails were cut and filed at the same salon 2 weeks before without this extra charge. Beware of salons that list their prices with + sign next to the price. read more

I normally use the Katy Pallazzio location but decided to use this one in a pinch. They are almost 30 miles from my home, but they are one of the few places that offer Gel-X, and they have a 10 day repair warranty. I asked for square round nails, which the technician applied. After she was done, she informed me that normally, there would be an upcharge because the nail shape was considered coffin, which is apparently more expensive, and that there should also be an upcharge for the long length (see pic; they're neither coffin-shaped nor especially long) but that she was going to cut me a break and not charge me. Again, she told me these things AFTER my nails were finished--never mentioned a thing before she did them. Considering the normal gel-x is already a hefty $70, I was thankful. However, when I went to check out, I was charged $85. When I questioned the cashier, I was told that was the price of the service I was given. I have never paid more than $70 at the Katy location. Fast forward to a week later and three nails were lifting at the cuticle. I drove back to the salon only for the tech to apply acrylic nail glue under the lifting nails instead of re-doing them! I was shocked because my regular location would never take such a short cut. When I voiced my concern and that I had actually tried the glue method myself with a previous Gel-X manicure and it didn't last, she informed me I just "hadn't done it right" and sent me on my way. Two days later and guess what? One of the "repaired" nails is already lifting again. For $85 plus tip, I expect my manicure to last more than 11 days. Next time I will wait for availability at the Katy location. read more
