Happy to report that this company provided professional, on time service. The cleaner (Duncan?) explained the process before he even began, comparing how their "dry" cleaning works vs. steam cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised at the results; the carpets definitely looked better than the last time I had them cleaned, and that was with a steam cleaning method. He also did some minor "trimming" of loose threads that our cats tore up, asking permission first. What's nice is that Heaven's Best was cheaper than the previous carpet cleaners I used, and for us, the results were better. I plan to use them again. read more

FYI: I did not realize, until after they arrived, that this company uses a "buffing" technique. I did not know what this was... After the first round the carpets still looked dirty. I complained and they came back out and did it again (at no cost). The carpets look OK now but don't really feel clean. When I asked the technician where the dirt goes with this technique, he said "down into the pad". I will stick with the old fashion steam cleaning method, in the future, which extracts the dirt and removes it from the carpets and out of the house. read more

Happy New Year 2009... Rather than spend a ridiculous amount of money on limited drinks and strangers, my fiancé and I decided to host a fabulous New Years Eve party this year. We had unlimited supplies of champagne, beer, wine, cocktails, appetizers and close friends. It was great. Waking up New Years Day with my New Year's hangover was difficult, but tolerable. Very professional, explains the process well, friendly, and even called ahead to let me know he'd be late. This "low moisture" technology probably works great on surface dirt and in situations that require very little moisture, but it did not work well for me. My carpet had only moderate dirt from foot traffic - no food or pet stains. A light spray, a scrub, and a machine cloth wipe was not enough to pull up embedded dirt. Carpets looked good for a couple days, then the dirt stains reappeared in full force. I used my little Hoover home cleaner in the same areas and pulled up 2 more buckets of dark dirty water. In all fairness, this may also have happened if I had it steam or chem-dry cleaned. But regardless, a professional carpet cleaning should not leave this much dirt behind. Recommended for gentle surface cleaning, but not for embedded dirt. read more
