I sent a message through the Yelp app and they responded within 30 minutes. They were able to squeeze me in on a Friday morning. I have off white carpet that is very old (15 years). I need to replace them so my expectations were not high. I was not home when they arrived but my former athlete noted that they were late. She believes 15 minutes early is on time! Had I been at home I would have giving them a tip. My carpets were so clean. A better job than everyone I've ever used prior. Normally the next couple of days spots reappear. 4 days later still beautiful, no more Stanley Steamers, Coit or any others. The price quoted is what I paid. Excellent Service! I'm long overdue to write this stellar review for Samuel. We first used his service in 2018 for a rental property following a tenant vacancy. We've since used his service in 2019 and twice in 2020 for annual carpet cleaning / maintenance of our carpet warranty. (Yes you need to clean your carpet every 6 months to a year to maintain the manufacturer warranty). Most recently NLCC rectified a massive problem in a house being rented to roommates who failed to keep the carpet and the tile/grout flooring clean. Samual worked with the tenants to provide an estimate (during an onsite appointment that he had with us on another unit) to have their carpets clean and stains removed as much as possible. He did the best he could there but the staining damage is extensive in some places. He did a great job of cleaning the kitchen tile and grout which had a build up of dirt and grime from lack of cleaning. Samuel is always professional, low key, prepared, and flexible. He doesn't complain if he cannot park directly in front of the house (some companies will just leave) and has extra long hoses on hand. He sets up warning cones on the sidewalk so that passersby don't trip over the hoses. Samuel always has extra booties on hand in case you need to walk through while the floor is wet. He had all the necessary COVID PPE. Booking as well as rescheduling appointments online is simple, and you can select from a menu of services which I believe have expanded. This allows for accurate pricing and no surprise charges as long as you specify the correct number of rooms including stairs. Okay, this guy Samuel is like nobody I ever met in my life!! Over the last 7 years I've been in a spacious condo. I've had my carpets cleaned about 4 times but living with a teenager who thinks cleaning only happens every leap year my carpets had not been cleaned in almost 3 years! Within those 3 years my other grown child returned to my adobe with an active 6 year old in tow. I had a house full of feet and filth. When my daughter and grandchild left I decided I was going to move. (July 2018) I was going to forfeit my rental deposit because my carpets looked like a cross between a cemetery and a local shelter. Long story longer I didn't move and neither did my dirty carpets. I found Samuel good reviews here on Yelp but my monthly budget was stretched to the max. I also questioning if $200 for 2 bedrooms, half a dining room and a living room was reasonably priced. Well, like the Genie in Aladdin " boooooyyy oh boy do I feel sheepish". Samuel went over and beyond to go out of his way to provide me services. Sometimes we can be so frugal that we end up cheating ourselves. Samuel showed up on time and for all of you women or elderly folks that may feel vulnerable to male service workers in your home Samuel is your man. He has a very gentle, calm and trusting spirit. Samuel is the kinda guy you can ask to hold the baby while you grabbed the pie out of the oven. You can leave him in the house to clean while you're outside barbecuing your ribs. He works with ease and he definitely takes pride in his work. His abilities to clean and the products he uses are like miracle solutions. Speaking of which, Samuel was able to lightened up and removed stains that Ive had several other carpet cleaners try to remove with no results. Now let's talk again about how I was being semi stingy and didn't know if $200 was a reasonable/ competitive price? I asked him about rug cleaning services and the fees for it. I have a huge area rug that was so dirty it was starting to grow it's own flowers. ( I might be exaggerating but that's how I felt a about it). WITHOUT even knowing I was going to tip him for the great job on the carpets (and listening to me whining about how broke I was) Samuel said, I will include it with your $200 carpet cleaning fee. Whaaaaat!!! Nooo Wayyy!!! Now yall know rugs can start at $125 and up! Especially for a huge area rug like the one I got. OMG!! Samuel asked if he could take my rug and return it to me the next day as he had another appointment) I was blown away!! After working so earnestly and diligently on my carpet I couldn't believe he was literally providing me another service. I think the point to all of this is I received more then just a carpet cleaning. This man has restored my faith in the human spirit and I was reminded of a valuable lesson. The willingness of being kind without expectations and being grateful for every thing is what everyone reading this should think about. My financial reluctance turned into a huge unexpected blessing for me. This Easter my place and spirit has truly being resurrected and I am looking forward to getting my deposit back when I move! Pay this man what he is worth!! (I think he prefers cash) We don't need religion to be grateful and kind. We've had our little light beige sectional for 3 years now and thanks to the baby and dog it was looking worse for wear. Frank came and literally got every stain and watermark out of the couch, it looks like it did when we first got it. We also really appreciated them hooking us up with a deal to clean our little area rug while they were here (that's mostly covered by said couch). I rented out a room in my condo and the tenant left a stain. She claimed it wasn't her fault, that maybe it was there when she moved in (it wasn't--thank god I had pictures to prove it). She was pretty adamant it wasn't her fault, so I suggested having her vacuum it. Hey, maybe it'll come out! She went and got the vacuum cleaner--then asked me how to use it. Are you f'in kidding me!? You lived here 7 months and not once did you vacuum your room!? The last straw though was when she blamed my cat. He just sat there, looking at me, wondering why his name was being mentioned. Did I have treats? Was he being summoned for some belly-rubbing, face-smushing, cat-sniffing goodness? No, Elvis Purrsley, you are actually being accused of a crime you didn't commit. I was pawsitive it wasn't him, fur sure, but got down on my hands and knees and sniffed the stain anyway. No smell. She still claimed it was him but the only pee around was how much this was starting to piss me off. I told her she's on the hook for the expense of cleaning out the stain and that was that. Enter Samuel Russell from New Life Carpet Care. He said the minimum was $60 and that the room was too small. I was fine with that since it was just coming out of her deposit. So what did he do? He cleaned my living room too. How awesome is that? Needless to say, the living room now looks amazing. And the stain? I ain't lion when I say it looks purrfect. read more

This review is overdue, but the memory of excellent service from New Life is still fresh in my mind. That says a lot. I found New Life through a Living Social deal. I have two rooms and a stairway that are carpeted with light, cream-colored carpet. And an old, sick cat. Let's just say that the carpet really needed some help. Scheduling took a little back and forth but was no problem. Samuel and his assistant showed up on time and were friendly and courteous. He explained the process clearly and got to work. I think our dirty carpets took more work than he probably expected - it looked like a big job to me just from observing. The result was a very thorough cleaning that got done efficiently and with very minimal disruption to our household. Samuel even went through and hand-buffed the edges of our stairs (which of course tend to get the most wear-and-tear). This cleaning really made a difference. The cat-barfed-on carpets looked really good afterwards. (I'm not saying it was a miracle. Cat barf on old, cream-colored carpet can only be taken so far, but they looked as good as they could possibly have looked and way better than they did.) It is not an exaggeration to say that this cleaning enabled me to live with these carpets longer than I would have otherwise and frankly, it made the whole house feel cleaner. For the amount of work and attention to detail that New Life put into our job, we got an incredibly good deal. We will be using New Life again and will be delighted to pay full price. I had found the company on Yelp and read their reviews. I gave them a call and left a message and got a call right back. I couldn't do a mid day or morning appointment which they were very accommodating for. The day I called them, the gentleman who helped me was willing to come that night (which was a Friday)! We scheduled for a Monday evening at 7:30 and Sam arrived early and was ready to go. He was very friendly and straight forward. The price was very competitive with other companies and the cleaning itself was perfection. Their equipment looked to be some of the best I've ever seen. I did have one other cleaning company do the same carpets in the past and it didn't even come close to New Life's equipment or final results. Sam was great.The carpets look great. I would absolutely recommend that you use New Life Carpet. I was able to make an appointment online, get a quote, and it was all so seamless and easy. He arrived 5 minutes early based on the scheduled time, did a walk through and confirmed that the appointment online was for the cleaning as well. He was focused, and fast while doing several quality passes on my couch. I already knew several of the ink stains wouldn't come out, but he did an amazing job on those spots so they have diminished significantly. Plus in the master bedroom, we had an iron singe mark - and he was able to get it Up! OMG that was amazing. Now admittedly its not completely gone, but as the same with the couch severely diminished. You have to hunt with bare feed to find it again, you cannot see it with your eye unless you are really really looking for it.
