    Live blue crabs

These are the most helpful and professional folks in the business. I am never disappointed with their seafood. I bought a hamper of live crabs 2 weekends in a row. They are my go to for live seafood. Their prices are competitive but the quality and freshness of the seafood is impeccable and impressive. I'll never buy seafood anywhere else. I had questions as to how many pounds of shrimp to buy to feed a party of 20 and the nice lady I spoke with over the phone helped me make a decision and she was spot on! Love Hebert's!!

Back for more after being away five years.

FEET MEMORIES Five years ago we were introduced to crawfish, corn on the cob and pigs feet spread on top of a newspaper covered kitchen table. The spicy pickled pigs feet stayed stuck deep into Yu-go's memory. Top priority was to personally visit Hebert Seafood for them pigs feet. Only $2.25 each too. You know what...they were even better this time around according to Yu-go. I have a strange feeling we'll be back. LoL

Crawfish and a crab full of eggs and fat

This where I go for all my seafood needs! You can get boiled and/or live. The boiled crawfish are amazing. They have a bit of spice to them which is fine by me! The potatoes, corn, sausage and mushrooms are sold separately and are well worth it. The crabs are always full and every time I ask for a female it is full of eggs. What's better than that? The crawfish boudin is out of this world. They also have coolers with crabmeat, different types of sausage, tamales, and much more. It's family owned and operated which makes it even more inviting. I must mention that if you're in the area and someone suggests that you get seafood at Irene's, this is where they're sending you. Mrs. Irene, who has now passed on, is they lady that ran it. The locals know Hebert's as Irene's. There are no table's at Irene's, so all orders are to go. Also, be careful in the parking lot. The parking lot is small and the place stays busy. Happy eatin' yall!

Hot, salty, and spicy... just like we love 'em! The mushrooms and potatoes actually have flavor, too!

Fresh French bread!!! Food and brand selection is pretty…read moregood. Produce selection is small BUT VERY fresh Parking is plentiful, easy pullout on River road . This store is very close to 310 Luling bridge. They have a fresh made desserts and rotisserie chickens in a deli with boars-head meat. They make sandwiches to order. Yes they have KING CAKES!! Yum ! I would definitely go again it's a wonderful option for people who live in Hahnville... just across the bridge . The store is clean . Deli service was fine.

Very disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered a tray of finger sandwiches from this deli…read morefor an event, and they were terrible. The sandwiches were extremely dry and had a strange taste that made them inedible. I ended up throwing away an entire untouched tray, which was a complete waste of money. When I called to speak with a manager, I was placed on hold for about five minutes before a young employee answered and told me the manager was "busy in the back" but that she could help me instead. I explained the issues with the sandwiches and that I was throwing away the entire tray. Her response was simply, "I'm sorry," followed by essentially nothing else. No offer to replace the product, no refund, and no concern for customer satisfaction. When I asked who the manager was, I was told one manager is Mason and the "big manager" is Angelle, but Angelle only comes in twice a week. The entire conversation felt unprofessional and dismissive. To make matters worse, when I picked up my order, employees in the deli area were openly talking and laughing about something rotten in the cooler, discussing how bad it smelled and who was going to clean it up--all within earshot of customers. That is not something customers should have to hear while purchasing food. Between the poor food quality, lack of customer service, and unprofessional behavior, I will not be returning.
