I just came by to PetSmart and it's been a while since my last visit. They still do pet hotels and…read morecat adoptions, which is good for those who want to own a cat or leave their pets there if you're on a vacation and that you have no one you know who can take care of them. Also went by the hamsters and areas where they have small pets. Some seemed to be adopted already since I can't find any of them. This store is good for pet services and other essentials for your pets. I can't think of any other pet store in Fremont, but this is the one I know so far.

I had a disappointing experience trying to return an aquarium at this PetSmart. Before using the…read moretank, I was told to check it, but when I decided to return it, the return was refused because I had not retained the original packaging. The problem is that the packaging requirement was printed in faded fine print, and the aquarium packaging did not seem possible to open without cutting through and destroying it. I understand that stores have return policies, and I try to be very patient with customer service staff. However, this situation felt unreasonable because the requirement was not clearly communicated and the packaging itself made compliance impractical. What bothered me most was the manager's dismissive response when I tried to explain the situation. When I asked whether there was someone I could speak with about the details, she simply said, "I'm the only manager in the store," and as I stood there visibly surprised by how abruptly the conversation had gone, she then asked me to hold my receipt, without acknowledging my concern or offering any explanation beyond the packaging issue. I left feeling that the policy was applied in a rigid way and that my concern was not treated respectfully. I would caution other customers to inspect return requirements very carefully before opening aquarium products, because the packaging may be impossible to preserve. I used to visit this PetSmart, but now am very unlikely to return. That manager could have volunteer a number of different words that would have made the exchange much more respectful and empathetic - instead, it made me incredulous that someone with that attitude was the choice for a manager. ( I do have to say that whoever helped me with my aquarium selection a couple weeks prior in the fish department was EXTREMELY kind and helpful ) - I think that manager has something to learn from that employee. Perhaps they should swap jobs.

Your pets are in for a treat, literally and figuratively, with a visit to Pet Food Express!…read more With aisles filled with pet food, treats, toys and other supplies, you'll find all that you'll need here to keep your little furry friends fed, happy, and learning. The variety of food options from different suppliers and manufacturers give you plenty of choices to consider. If you're experimenting with different diets and meal combinations, this is a great place to build up your inventory in small batches at home. You'll find wet and dry varieties for both canines and felines but you'll also find feed for smaller critters as well. Their collection of treats and snacks is also immense. You'll find at least 4 aisles dedicated to chews for canines including horns, hoofs, antlers, bones, and hides. Biscuits, dried fish and produce blends, and jerky are also very common here with multiple brand options available. For biscuit and cookies, you'll also be able to purchase them by weight if you're looking for smaller amounts. They may vary in ingredients and design but they all seem very intact and organized. In addition to the edibles, your pets will grovel at all the toys and supplies to help them learn, play, walk, and be comfortable. From leashes, harnesses and boots for walks to beds, grass pads, and toys for home bodies, you'll be able to shop and buy all of them in person. Prices don't seem too much off from online prices but the benefit here is that you'll be able to bring it home with you right away while supporting a local business. You'll also find a self washing station here where many guardians take their furry pals to get cleaned up. The basins are quite large to accommodate larger animals and despite being self service, it seems to be kept pretty clean. The staff were also great during our visit. They gave warm greetings and were on task, keeping the place clean, organized and stocked. Management has done a great job building a good working culture here! Overall, Pet Food Express is for sure where you'll find your pet necessities quickly, but due to the variety of items, by no means would you want to leave quickly. The available supplies and extent of options give you plenty to look through. If you're looking for something specific, the staff are available to help and fortunately prices are reasonable, so you and your pets will stroll out happy!

When they walked in, they noticed the place was very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Before paying, my husband asked if they could try the wash first since we weren't sure whether to purchase a single wash or take advantage of the "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" special. The process was very easy--shampoo and aprons were provided, and they had 25 minutes to wash our pup. This was more than enough time to thoroughly clean our 100lb husky and use the air-dry hose. The only reason we opted for just one wash instead of the bundle was the drying system. While the air-dry hose is a nice feature, it wasn't strong enough for our husky's thick coat. We'll be looking for a place with heated dryers, but if those don't work out, we'd be happy to return here. Thank you for the great service and for cleaning up after our very hairy pup!

Nostalgic are the times when I used to come here as a kid to see all the fish and small critters available for purchase, and now as an adult, it hasn't changed all that much. There are still sections for aquarium enthusiasts looking to bolster their underwater environments as well as for fur and reptilian baby parents with the goal of enriching or growing their family. In each section, you'll find organized aisles and shelves filled with feed, toys, medications, and other wares for sale. The prices are reasonable compared to online prices and plus, with their free (as well as paid) membership, you'll get rewarded for each purchase, incentivizing you to shop more for your pets. The points you earn are tracked through your account and can be earned and redeemed at any of their stores or online through their website. If you're a frequent buyer, you'll benefit greatly from their rewards program. The main reason for our most recent visit was for their vet services offered through Vetco, specifically for vaccinations. It's best to set an appointment through their website to ensure you'll be seen, although sometimes walk-ins are welcomed but not guaranteed to be serviced. For non-vaccine related vet services, I believe you'll need to make a different kind of appointment and work with the in-house staff during their open hours. If you've never been here, you'll be asked for your pets medical/vaccination history but once you're in the system, they'll track everything your pet receives from their office. The biggest incentive for coming here for vaccinations is the vaccination packages offered at reasonable prices without having to first pay and see a veterinarian. Despite being a mobile clinic that travels to various sites in the Bay Area, they do have experienced and certified vets on staff, available to administer the vaccines and do preliminary examinations. We were very satisfied with the service offered here through Vetco as well as the staff working the store. Everyone was friendly, patient, and helpful in helping us get what we needed and for offering ways for us to save money. It does seem this store brings in a lot of locals and frequent visitors as some patrons seem to be recognized by the staff. I love the neighborly vibe! Overall, despite being a well-established chain, this Petco has not lost its luster nor its commitment to serving their community of pet owners and pets. I'm proud and glad to have this shop in our area and hope that they continue to help foster creation of new memories for generations to come. Your pets will be happy, healthy, and safe here at this Petco!

Katie always does an amazing job on both my dogs. She is #1 professional and #1 excellent groomer. Sometimes I hide down one of the aisles so I can watch her groom so that Shiloh can't see me. I have never had any issues with my dogs nor did my mom with her dog. Communicate exactly what you want done. Example: I tell Katie do not trim his tail or ears and she doesn't. So thankful for Katie, I know my fur babies will always look and smell fantastic!

I felt completely at ease leaving Skye in their hands because they treated her like she was their own- I have an anxious attachment towards her. They took such great care of Skye, paying attention to every detail and making sure she was comfortable the entire time. When I picked her up, I was honestly amazed -- she looked absolutely beautiful! Her coat was so white, incredibly soft, and extra fluffy. She smelled amazing and looked so happy. You can truly tell they care about the dogs and take pride in their work. I'll definitely be bringing Skye back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, talented groomer! She even got a cute bandana :)

Upon entering, the staff was welcoming. My dog follows a strict diet due to health issues, so ingredient information is especially important to me. Unfortunately, the staff was not very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the treats and wasn't able to provide much details and guidance. I would recommend owners with dogs who have special dietary needs do their own research and review ingredient lists before purchasing (might even be better to make treats at home). All in all, it's a cool shop with sweet treats, toys, and accessories for your furbaby. Prices are fair, some items are on the pricier end. Staff was friendly, but again if your furbaby has diet restrictions, this place may not be the best option.

Finding a local groomer became one of the many challenges for me. Based on the reviews, I chose this groomer. They are located at the west end of downtown CV. Walking in the store front, it has a very homey friendly country feel. They do not put dogs in crates. My dog has great separation anxiety so not being confined in a crate is a great relief. My appointment made via phone, requires a $50 deposit. My morning appointment, my dog was immediately taken in the back after grooming requirements were collected. Again, being a first time owner, they walk me through steps. A ninety minutes expectation was given for their work and they would text me to pick up. Upon my return, I was walk through grooming tips and tools (Coombs and brushes, and other products). I appreciate the advice. Since my dog's hair was knotted, he was trimmed very close. They were prepared to scheduled the next appointment but I held off so I can reflect on the overall experience. My dog was appeared fine from this experience though the trim could be more even throughout. Luckily the fur will grow back and no one will know the difference. I was sent a link to schedule appointments online. Overall I hit a very favorable impression with the store front and friendly staff. I definitely will schedule future grooming appointments.

I placed an order on the Entirely Pets website, and I received a package from Healthy Pets. Both businesses have the same street address. I do not usually shop with either of those businesses, but I needed to purchase a particular supplement for my cat. The regular price is sort of expensive, so I searched on Google for a business that offered a lower price. I saw that Entirely Pets offered the supplement and a coupon. The regular price for the supplement was $61.49, and after a $14.22 discount and free shipping, I paid only $47.27. I feel very thankful that Entirely Pets made this coupon available to me. As for the rest of the Entirely Pets website, I did not see all of my cats' other usual products, and their products that I did see sometimes had high prices compared to other retailers. Entirely Pets shipped the supplement on the same day of my order. Two days later, the U.S. Postal Service delivered the package to my house.
