Good prices and the customer service is good enough in general while you are in the store. I just wish they would keep regular hours. The hours posted online are not followed. They post their hours as 9:30am-3pm in their window but they will often be late to work and not be open when they say they will and they will also close early without warning. I usually have to play a guessing game as to when they will be open. Can be frustrating to leave work early to get here before 3pm and then they aren't even there. So their good prices get erased in those instances. read more

I'm happy to have found Close Feed & Supply not so that I can buy chicken or horse food, but for gardening supplies. Dry Stall is a pumice that is used for keeping horse stalls dry. Another use for it is as a soil amendment for cacti and succulents. It's much more cost efficient than buying 8qt bags of EB Stone pumice for $7-8. A 40 pound bag of dry stall is $15! Straw bales are $13.75 for 75 pounds of straw? I bought it as a mulch for my garden. Thank you to the friendly staff who laid cardboard in the backseat of my car, and loaded it in for me. They sell baby chicks and high quality brands of dog food, like Victor Professional here, too. read more

Close, feeding grain is an awesome place! They have cat food, dog food any other animal food treats you buy by the pound for your dog, all kinds of birdseed they carry birds, chickens and other small foul and they're just really nice people died in his sons.
