I just recently brought my truck into this dealership for the fisrt time on 2/7/19 to get some minor things fixed and adjusted since it was brand new when I bought it. They had provided me an Uber to and from work which is really convenient and nice.I had my front bumper realigned as it had some sag to it, tires rotated, rear suspension noise over bumps, and cold start noise. All in all it took about 6 hours for the dealership to diagnose and tell me that they could not duplicate the rear suspension noise and cold start noise. I will have to record the noises the truck makes and present the service department with the video. Upon picking up my truck, I did a brief walk around and I noticed that the front passenger side fender was dented in and scratched down to the metal. I immediately notified the service adviser of the issue and Mike Gutierrez stated that it was not there on his initial walk around when I dropped it off. Mike and Carol walked around the vehicle and said that they have no choice to take care of the damage done to my vehicle and that their collision center will complete this for me with factory paint. Great customer service from MIKE GUTIERREZ but the jury is still out on the body shop and I will wait and see how it turns out before I give an updated review. P.S. I know who damaged my truck. It was a really obvious reaction when the guy who rotated my tires looks specifically at the damaged fender without knowing why I am back. read more

Last I heard would be that the service department would be calling me. No phone call I know when I left that day I was upset so did they just tell me they would call and have my part at no charge just to make me leave, Back in the day someone's word was his bond. read more

Came in for a scheduled appointment to fix airbag recall and check engine light. Friendly service but told us it would cost $130 to check the codes for the check engine light. Probably a big picture chevy problem but with a $65,000 Silverado 2500 that has 40,000 miles, you would think they could take 5 minutes to check the codes for free. My problem with the service department is that when I scheduled the appointment, they said nothing about the charge. Furthermore, they are already plugged in to update the computer for the recall and I'm sure it would only take about 30 seconds to pull the codes. They gave the lady in front of me free wiper blades, guess that's cheaper than pulling codes. The only way to avoid the charge is if you pay it and if it turns out the problem is covered by warranty, it will be reimbursed, or to just drive it until it breaks down and let the warranty pay for that. Be careful and make sure you ask what they are going to charge you for before driving all the way to the dealership. read more

Only issue I have is when I went to make a service appointment on line, I chose a day and time convenient for me, just to get a call from a girl changing the day & time and couldn't answer any questions about my warranty. I bought a brand new truck and had a trade in. the condition was I would be able to take off my tires and rims and put the stock back on . I was going to do it myself but they insisted on them doing it,so I agreed. I was offered 10K down and 5+% interest. completely ridiculous more then double the interest rate and I have excellent credit... go to a larger dealer in California there is several in So. Cal. much better service elsewhere... these guys are hicks in the sticks. not more to the story its clear you did not want to order the van so gave high interest rate and high down payment to push me away or think I was a sucker to pay such high rates to make it worth your time. you can explain why you would offer 5% & 10k down on 800 credit score just to order a new van for me. when website offered zero down and 2.19% on good credit. read more

The experience started Roy Hines. Mr. Hines is your typical guy you would meet at bar and immediately strike up a conversation. He's a friendly person and made it easy to talk to. Then came the finance manager, Rey Barrera, who was a bit more formal but nonetheless pleasant. An issue came up a couple of days later which called for the involvement of Casey Rowe. The discussion did become contentious but the above mentioned Hedrick employees remained professional and a resolution was reached with all parties maintaining a level respect for each other. Blown away by sales staff customer service again. Took my truck in for a scheduled oil change, while picking up the truck and sending my wife off with it, I see my original salesmen Jorge standing besides me with his hand out ready for a handshake. He walked out of the show room after seeing us outside just to show me a cool feature on the truck I didn't know about. Did I mention I bought this truck almost 2 years ago? Jorge's commitment to customer service is off the charts. I have been in the auto industry all my life and have never come across a salesmen of the same caliber. If you are going to look at vehicles at Hedricks ask for Jorge with a J!! I want a Dodge for my next purchase, but the level of service here is so good its really hard not to make an excuses to buy another Chevy from Jorge. read more

I stopped at Hedrick's after meeting Mr. Hedrick's at a local fundraising event in the area years previous and knowing of the family name, I thought highly of them which led me to the dealership. After being there only a few minutes, I was approached by George, who ended up spending several hours with me walking around the lot and going on a test drive in a new Equinox, which he kept telling me over and over again that he was not "pushing me to purchase because he was not that type of a salesman".. I was not completely convinced that this was the "car for me" even though after finding out that I own a Harley Davidson almost this same color blue, the salesman tried pushing me into this vehicle telling me how it could tow the bike. I needed to leave as the sales guy new this upon a telephone call I received earlier, but my husband didn't and the sales guy was "more" than pushy at trying to get him in the door to work on financing for this vehicle that I wasn't even sure on. So when I said I was leaving, my husband said something to him and next thing you know, the guy jumped into the vehicle, started it, and sped off!!!! Not ONE WORD from him! No business card, no thank you for "your time" in stopping by or can I get your phone number to call you?? NOTHING BUT CHILDISH BEHAVIOR!!! I am appalled at this and I have thought long and hard about putting this review on here but it's about honesty and letting others know about truth. People can not get away with how they mistreat others. It will only harm them in the end! My Wife and I recently turned in a 3 year old leased car back to Hendricks Chevrolet. It was a 2015 Red Chevrolet Spark EV that looked brand new. Before turning the car in with only 32,100 miles (almost 4,000 miles under on a 36,000 mile, 3 year lease) I had the car detailed and cleaned by Red Carpet next door to the dealership on Shaw Avenue, and was told by waiting customers "that car looks brand new." On January 30, 2018 I received a letter from HENDRICKS Chevrolet and Ally Bank stating I owed $436.50 for dents that were never there. I swear by the 20 people waiting at Red Carpet, my parents, friends, the Hendricks Representative there were no such dents on that car. You could have put that car up for sale and not even known it had 32,100 miles on it. I even made the Hendricks representative look around the car and he said " it looks really good for a 3 year old car." Back in January, 2015 my wife traded In her perfect and well kept 2006 Mercedes Benz because the sales representative said " Used Mercedes are hard to sell and your car may need repairs, you should just trade it in and not have to worry about it." What a bunch of crap. They offered her $3,000 (which was applied to the down payment of the car) for a Kelly Blue Car that goes for $8,500 to $9,000. This place prays on people and especially women who do not know anything about cars. Hendricks, this is why I and everyone else I meet will never purchase a car from you again. Do not take your car here for service !! I had my car serviced there. A lite kept coming on and they fixed that. They said they would do a 12pt inspection. We asked them to check shocks. They said they were fine. When we got home the receipt said we needed alignment and brakes. Why not call and tell us instead of us waiting till we got home ? the car was already there !!! So we take it to Midas for alignment. They tell us our struts are shot and there were bald spots on inside of front tires ?? They showed us the tires n they weren't lying. So what the hell did Hendricks do. I can tell u NOTHING. I'm going on a road trip, that's why I took it in !! I would have been pissed if I was driving thru The Mojave desert and got a flat because Hendricks didn't do there job. So u cant trust them. So go to Midas or any other place. Wife's car would not start on Monday afternoon...3/2/20. Had no time to go help her. Had it towed via AAA to them. Come to find out it was a battery. Here is the problem I have with them.....$195 for the battery....I can choke on that fine but...Diagnostics $190????...WTF? Check the battery with a meter, anything less than 11.5V and it's battery. Jump it and run it, anything less than 14.4V and it's the alternator causing the battery to not charge during operation. We were out the door for $450 for a battery, diagnostics and labor....Vaseline not included...That is highway robbery and they should be ashamed. Too bad my work schedule and hers had not allowed me to jump on it. Just a heads up to all!!!! read more

This is the best Chevy dealer we have ever dealt with. My husband bought his truck there 16 years ago and even then they were great. We are a Chevy family and with my daughter Now driving we are also looking into a Chevy car for her and it will be from Hedricks. We also recently took our Chevy traverse in for service without an appointment on Thursday. So we figured it would not be done til Monday. We figured that would be the soonest. Well they looked at it on Friday morning and finished it Friday afternoon. The Issue was that our traverse was over heating and they realized that it was the water pump. Vincent Cruz was our customer service rep. He and his service manager did an amazing job and worked with us for the issue to be fixed. It was a stress free process. I had researched the new car I wanted and met with Troy Meier, who had been recommended by a friend who recently worked with him. My previous experience with car salesmen is akin to having a root canal without Novocain, so to prepare myself, I donned raw wool underwear and shoes two sizes too tight, prepared to do battle to get a decent deal. From the git-go, with his friendly, low key, straight forward manner, it was clear Troy wasn't the stereotypical car salesman. After several days of working on a car from another dealer that fell through at literally the last minute, Troy regrouped and tracked down another car at a great price. Getting the car delivered to Hedrick's was proving to be a challenge, but Troy spent his day off (his 12th working day in a row) picking up the car 200 miles away. If nothing else, he should be nominated for Iron Man of the month. Throughout the entire process, Troy was a friendly, competent professional, interested in making a good and deal, working diligently to pull together a challenging sale while shunning the familiar high pressure and phony delay tactics, . I have never had an experience to warrant a negative review until now. I visited this establishment a couple weeks ago and was looking at vehicles with my partner. I overheard an employee talking to another employee using inappropriate and vulgar language that was downright rude. I asked who the employee was and was told it was their used car manager and the last name matched the building. We made a decision to never go back because how can I support a company that allows their management/family to talk that way to lower level employees. I have been to many service departments and have always felt taken advantage of. Here, I don't feel that and know that they take care of my car. Everyone is friendly except the girls who work at the cashier desk. They don't seem to care too much about you but hey the rest of the staff is phenomenal so I am willing to overlook their unfriendliness. I think they should at least say hi when you walk up to their window instead of just staring at you. The customer service here is horrible- I came to look at a used car for my youngest sons first car, I saw two used cars I was intrested in and a salesman approched as I was viewing the cars, i told him I would like to test drive a used Cruze on the lot and a used Malibu to see Wich I liked better- the sales kid said sure but as he was removing the keys from the lock box he asked me "are you sure this is the one you want- because they don't want us putting miles on the cars- I was shocked I asked him was that a serious statement? He said yes that is their policy- I told him that's a foolish policy and told him no thanks I will just go somewhere else. Not that it matters I'm 51 years old, I was well dressed, and I drove onto the lot in a 2021 duramax, in other words I didn't look like some kid trying to joyride corvettes or something. I went to Michael's Chevrolet they treated me wonderful test drove two vehicles and bought a car for my son... I'm sure that losing my one little used car deal isnt going to make or break Hedricks Chevy.... but you lost a customer forever and loyalty is what you should be selling, I can get a Chevy anywhere...shame on your leadership for incredibly stupid policies and mistreatment of customers- read more

Salesman was nice and persuasive. Unfortunately I have been very unhappy with purchase and service since. I purchased a 2014 Cruze (in 2016) I have had several electrical issues causing car to not start or start in its own. Every time I have taken in they can't find anything. Coincidentally as soon as I went over the 60,000 miles warranty they were able to figure out it may be an issue with wiring. Very unhappy and will not buy a Chevy car or anything from them again. read more

Upon leaving my vehicle I specifically asked the service rep to make sure they aired up my tires, he said they had to check it as corporate is mandated. With that being said my tire pressure was at 30 for all 4 tires when I dropped it off, when I picked up my vehicle after it was serviced my tire pressure was still at 30 (all 4).This is leading me to believe My tire pressure was not checked. Since bringing my vehicle in for several years the recommended pressure has been 35psi (unless changes have been made) and when I got home I noticed the paperwork said they were checked and at 32psi which is now making me think they falsified the records. I am very disappointed especially because of the specific conversation I had with Mr. Cruz at the service desk. read more

Arrived at 6:30am to be the first car in line for servicing this morning. 2001 GMC Sierra having some slight ventilation heating problems. Informed the attendant that it was most likely the blend door actuator that was the culprit. I had researched the problem beforehand, and can slightly hear the stripped gears trying to work under the dash. But I brought it in so that the problem could be accurately diagnosed and fixed. Called at 5pm to follow up on the truck. The employee informed me that they had called and left a message ~2:20pm that they'd be needing to keep it overnight. I have no messages and no missed calls. From the call, I learned that there was no change in estimate, no mention of parts that would need to be replaced, no update on the condition or work they had put into the truck other than "the car will need to be kept overnight" . As a customer, this appears to say that they hadn't even looked at my car yet, when I had made the effort to get there as early as I could and have this problem diagnosed (and hopefully fixed). Mind you, I had put in time to research the problem myself and informed the dealership to hopefully reduce any delay in service. From this, my plans to travel back home to San Diego have now been delayed an extra day. I can look past the lack of voice mail/phone call as that could be an issue with the phone company. However, taking 7 hours to tell me that they need to keep it overnight, and no update on the condition is disheartening. It's also incredibly frustrating that my truck is driveable, but I'm unable to arrange a ride to pick it up for use tonight and I'm all but stranded in town. Historically, my family hasn't ever had a problem with the dealership, and perhaps this is why I had higher expectations than the experience I'm receiving. Carry over from the holidays is also a consideration, however, a courtesy disclaimer of that possibility was never mentioned in person or over the phone. read more
