Although the waist size itself was reduced, the way it was done was simply by folding and sewing the waistband, which created a noticeable bump right on my hip bone and made the jeans uncomfortable to wear. Because of this, I had to bring the jeans back to be redone. When I returned, the lady at the counter insisted that I had not paid for the service, even though I had already paid $59.12 for the jeans alterations. I had to search through my credit card charges to prove that the payment had already been made. Unfortunately, the top also had to be redone because the straps were not adjusted properly the first time. Throughout the process, I felt that my concerns were not really listened to. What was most upsetting was being spoken to very aggressively and even yelled at in front of my child while trying to resolve the situation. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the quality of the work and the way the situation was handled left me very disappointed.

You could see it and when trying to put it on, the lack of stretch made it impossible. The joy returned when my wife went to Thi-Vu and was happily welcomed, reviewed the previous work, and said they would make it right. After a quick fitting and such they took care of it. A few days later the garments were picked up and my wife was shocked at the excellent work Thi-Vu performed. I'll be taking some trousers there soon. I must say, I've made one run to collect some other garments for my wife and the staff are so kind and friendly. It is a breath of fresh air to find a place like this. Overall, while the service was slow - I had to wait a few days which i suppose is understandable seeing 1:I dropped off a dozen pair of slacks to be altered/hemmed with a side slit (think Graeme McDowell PGA Tour) and 2: it was January in the heart of their season. The quality of work, however, was FANTASTIC. Best work I've seen. Not what I'd call a steal but nothing really is in the winter down here. All my slacks are high-end lightweight wool and the work was spot-on what I wanted. Huge props for the quality, though I wish the turnaround was faster than a week.
