I've been coming here for years to get my eyebrows threaded with no complaints. They are diligent courteous and keep the line moving. I came this weekend for a facial and Seema did an excellent job. The facial lasted about 55 minutes and my skin felt amazing. I would have given this visit 5 stars but the only reason why I didn't was because there was an employee doing waxes , in the room next door and she was extremely loud. Fast. Only 4.5 out of 5 bc the ambiance. I'll gladly give up fluff for quality, price, & speed. I like a fuller eyebrow. So, I have to tell them exactly where to stop. The dyed eyebrows last me quite a bit, and that keeps my morning prep time to a minimum. If I could give less than one star I would. I went in earlier today to have my upper lip and brows threaded. After the brows and upper lip were done, the woman doing them showed me in the mirror and I immediately turned to my friend crying because of how ridiculous I looked. My left eyebrow is now half the size of the right eyebrow. I have come here in the past and have never gotten the treatment that I did after this. I complained to her and she told me it was my fault for, "having difficult hair," and that, "she did so much work and did me a favor," reporting that she supposedly, "spent 15 minutes," when it had only been 3. She then proceeded to continue yelling at me and my friend in front of the entirety of the salon. Ridiculous behavior. I advise everyone to stop coming to this salon which continuously demanded the $4 price for the terrible eyebrow job that was done. Her and the man at the desk yelled so much that a fellow customer had to advise her to stop as she was giving such a ridiculous impression to all of the customers. Find somewhere else for your beauty needs. Disrespectful and unorganized. Similar to another review I read which I assume to have been about the same woman, I was harassed into paying. Quick and cheap but the stylist thinned out my eyebrows way too much when all I wanted a cleanup! It wasn't painful but she would put her knuckles in my eyes. Good for the moment but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. read more

I just got back from Heena's and wow....that was the fastest and cheapest grooming I've ever done! I went over lunch (the location is close to my work, so this is a plus since most reviews on here state there is a long wait on the weekends, I will remember to come during the week) and was in and out within 10 minutes. $6 for eyebrows and lip was a price just so nice it was easy to leave a nice $4 tip. You absolutely cannot beat that price, considering I'm used to paying about $17 for threading in my uptown salon. Geez! Assuming I am not broken out or irritated tomorrow from the threading, I will be a regular. read more

HORRIBLE! Although the prices are extremely cheap, I do not recommend that you go here. They are usually very busy (expect a long wait time on weekends) and because of that they do not take their time on you. My last visit resulted in super thin eyebrows and a cut lip. Even after I told her to be careful since I noticed that she was threading really fast and aggressively. I also advised that I only wanted a cleanup and did not want my eyebrows thin. It's almost as if my request went right over her head. I will no longer be returning for such horrible service. read more

my mother came in to get a henna tattoo on her back the other day, she came home devastated bc the henna looked absolutely horrible, it was two different colors, there was markings everywhere else, it looked unprofessional and like a child did it. my mom has been going here for years to thread her eyebrows. when she came back to complain and showed them pictures, they told her it was real henna even though it wasn't. when you work in a place like this, the only thing you're doing is taking care of CUSTOMERS. it is so rude and disrespectful to put henna on someone when you're in a rush and you know you're not doing your best. this isn't just a bad eyebrow job, it's on her skin. and it's gonna be there for the next few weeks. read more

This salon I am always in and out. Today I came in for an underarm wax and eyebrow threading. Celia does a quick and good job with waxing. The girls are welcoming and the prices are great! My only suggestion is to provide the girls with some sort of uniform or matching shirts. They sit in the chairs where customers wait so it confuses me when they start asking what type of service im getting while they are sitting. read more

Only get waxed here if you have dark hair. I just got my full legs waxed and they literally didn't even wax my knees, backs of my thighs, and barely any of my front thighs because I assume they couldn't see the hair. Not worth :( read more

Please take these reviews serious. If you value your eyebrows, the shape, the thickness than I would avoid this place at all costs. I will go back to paying 12 dollars for my eyebrows for this very reason. You actually get what you ask for. I thought this would be a great place because I knew two people who went here, but wow. How thin and uneven my eyebrows are I can not get them done for at least 3 months to try and grow them back out. Wish I could give zero stars. These people don't know how to shape eyebrows and don't listen to your requests. If you ask them to leave it longer they still take the tail of your eyebrows off. You ask them to leave it fuller and it's not. I kept going for some time because it was hit or miss at first and sometimes turned out good. Should've known better than to keep taking that risk. This place is honestly a hit or miss. Some days, I'll leave with dang good lookin eyebrows and other days, I just sigh and tell myself I'll just pencil it in to make them even. On busy days, they don't clean up very well so you'll have sparse hair you'll have to pluck yourself. I decided to try Heena Salon based on reviews from Yelp. The place I usually go charges $15 and is only in on Fridays and Saturdays, so I was excited to try somewhere so affordable & with more regular hours. My heart is officially broken. I had a beautiful shape and really decent thickness (if I do say so myself). I just wanted them cleaned up and my arch slightly enhanced. What I ended up with is pencil thin eyebrows. I literally have the same shaped eyebrows I had when I went off to college in 2002. Wake up! It's 2012 and pencil thin is not ok. I'm never straying from my regular threader again. Don't go here if you like shape and thickness, if you want to look over-tweezed and outdated, it's the cheapest bad threading you'll ever be able to find. read more

Horrible place to go. Yesterday around 5:00 pm saturday, my wife's eyebrows have been disfigured beyond repair. They pealed off my wife's one half of her entrire eyebrow and now she cannot go out in public. Instead of a simple heart felt " I am sorry" from Leena the unlicensed cosmologist. The management is trying to sheild the employee and throwing wrong accusations on the patron. My wife is pregnant and under tremendous duress & emotional pain since yesterday evening. They asked the wrong doer to run away who is not apologizing. I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded here for a total of $6! $4 for eyebrows and $2 for upper lip and I usually give them a $2 tip which still totals to cheaper than those booths at the mall. The service could be better but I've seen worse and often times there's a long wait. It's conveniently located right off 75 and Belt Line. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!! I have been here a handful of times before and it was fine. This time, I got someone I hadn't seen there before. She went very fast, I could feel her barely touching my skin with the thread and it seemed like she wasn't paying attention. When she was done, I was right. I asked her to clean up my eyebrows more and she did, and they looked just okay. I paid then went to the car and saw that she had missed PATCHES! I went back in, asked for someone else, and the gentleman in the front asked the same person to fix it. I told him I wanted someone else, but he ignored me. I let her fix it again, and walked out with mediocre job. Then the man in the front had the freaking nerve to run out into the parking lot after me to ask me if I paid!!!!! WTH!!!! I turned around and said I just came back because the woman in there did a terrible job and I WOULD NOT walk out without paying. He held up his hand and walked away!! Never even offered an apology!!! Not worth the savings! I've been there 3 times and each experience sucked. Each time I warned the stylist that I only want a touch up and that I hate pencil thin eyebrows but they do it however they want! From the threading I received today one of my eyebrows is thin but the other is MUCH thinner (Can they at least make it even!). I also got a wax on the rest of my face. The stylish finished in 5 mins but I still had lots of wax on my face, some on my clothes, and wax in my hair! I'm an African American female..DON'T MESS WITH MY HAIR LADY!!! read more
