Each time I warned the stylist that I only want a touch up and that I hate pencil thin eyebrows but they do it however they want! From the threading I received today one of my eyebrows is thin but the other is MUCH thinner (Can they at least make it even!). I also got a wax on the rest of my face. The stylish finished in 5 mins but I still had lots of wax on my face, some on my clothes, and wax in my hair! I'm an African American female..DON'T MESS WITH MY HAIR LADY!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible customer service. They rush you in and out. They scoff at your requests, insult your opinions. They messed up my wife's eyebrows. They had no regard for her pain tolerance. They spilled wax everywhere, ruining my wife's clothing. Rather than offer to help clean up, they rushed her out so they could get to the next customer. This place is the best I have found for eyebrow threading. No appointments, walk ins only, quick, easy and the best part is that they are the cheapest I have ever seen! They are $4 for eyebrow threading (used to be $3 when I started going to them years ago but I times are a' changing, haha). Yes you don't get the same necessarily person twice and it isn't a fancy salon by any means but they are less than half the price of most threading places and they have always done a good job. Took years to let my eyebrows grow back from over-threading. It's like a cattle call - 15-20 people waiting and getting numbers like you used to when you went to the butcher. The women rarely speak to you. There are signs all over the place for TIPS, TIPS, TIPS. How about you pay your employees a decent wage? Second, it is very sketchy about tips only in cash and not added to your credit card transaction. I went to this salon yesterday for an eyebrow thread and I am disappointed in their customer service. First, they have one of those ticket machines. I took a number and sat down, but they don't know which number is next, nor do they have anything to visualize the number. Finally, I got to sit down and get my eyebrows done and they lay that did them did a great job. Lastly, it was time to pay. The lady who was running the cash register wasn't there. Went to get my eyebrows threaded (just a clean up) the wait wasn't too bad so my cousin and I decided to also get a Henna tattoo. We were super excited because it was our first the, the lady did my eyebrows first and she was doing them so fast that the cut me ! Have been a customer for over five years... Most women here working are great working with eyebrows but others thread more then there supposed too. You usually know when they they start threading and you feel more hair fall down then the usual. But anyways they do a fantastic job every time I go. But not every single time once in a while a employee over threads them like for example I went 4 months ago and that was my first time in 3 months without going and when she gave me the mirror to check after I immediately saw that she took hair out on the side where the eyebrow starts. The service is cheap. It's $4 to get your brows threaded, I come here every other week to get them threaded and it's literally a hit or miss. Last time I had the lady with blonde hair do my brows and they were "on fleek". This week I came in and had the owner do my brows. She has done my brows before and did not thread all of my hairs so I had to pluck the rest of it when I got home. So this particular time she was threading my brows and she left one arched and thicker and the other one straight and thin. If you come to this salon to get your brows done, don't go to the owner, I feel like just rushes you out and does a half-assed job. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. The procedure (eyebrows) was fast and with the least amount of pain of any threading I have experienced. While doing my eyebrows she convinced me , or more so twisted my arm to get my lip down. I protested but she did it anyway. However I was happy she did, minor pain and very happy with the results. When I returned to Richardson I looked threading. I went to Heena Salon. The first time I went I was satisfied, especially when it was only $4 and I was used to paying $10 for waxing. I made the mistake of going the second time on a Friday. There were lots of women in hajibs. This time the girl that did my eyebrows seemed to make it particularly painful. I just got back from the Heena Salon in Richardson, TX and I loved it. The reviews are correct in saying that they are not good at shaping but overall I will be back. I also got a Henna Tattoo that came out really cute and inexpensive for its size. The tattoo's range from $6 and up but im not sure how they determine how much it will cost. Mine goes all the way down my foot and it cost $8 but it is amazing. There are a lot of people in the salon so the wait isn't that bad (I went during my lunch break on the weekday, not sure about the weekend). I will definately be going back to this salon for more Henna and Touch-ups! As to the location it is in the same shopping center as the TJ Max, Party City and McDonalds. I haven been going here for two years it is worth the wait, and traffic just to get there. The wait is not that serious you may be seated first and then attended to as each tech moves from customer to customer. It's just like any other salon every customer is there for a different reason not just to get eyebrow threading. I haven't had a disagreement with any of the techs I tell them what I want. Ok, Heena salon is cheap and the threading used to be okay for the wait. I went there like maybe 5 times, 3 times on the one near Taj. It used to be fine. But today, it was a horrible experience at the Heena near Taj Imports. There is one particular bi-spectacled middle aged short woman by name, I think, Shazia. She is by far the worst person i had ever threaded my eyebrows from. She literally ruined my eyebrows. Okay my eyebrows are a little hard to groom, but of all the places i have been to, both in India and here in Dallas (I had been to Poshak and another one called Satya who unfortunately changed her home to very far place), I had never seen my eyebrows distorted so badly! Today, one of them was going higher and the other one much lower and they didn't looked like the brows of the same person! I politely asked that woman to make them look atleast alike by making them thinner. But she started arguing on how I am misguiding her and what not, and involved all the other employees by speaking loudly and brashly. I asked the owner is this how you treat everyone coming there or is this special treatment for Desis like me? The owner looked unaffected and coldly asked another girl to look into my problem. This girl also started arguing on how my eyebrows cannot be made any better and instead asked me to reshape them myself by using eyebrow pencil!!! After arguing for a long time, there was another beautiful looking woman who offered to make my eyebrows thinner. She did make them a little better but again with some unnecessary advice on how not to give too many instructions to the beautician! Okay, am i the customer or not? Aren't these my eyebrows? Should I not be allowed to tell how I want them to look like? Should I not expect to be treated with some respect and sincerity? After this horrible experience, I have vowed never to go to Heena salon again! It has cheap price alright, but it has the cheapest service! I'm not going to Henna Salon for FACIAL. Their Facial is a rip-off. They massage your face with cheap products and they make sure you don't see any labels of the product they use on your face. According to them, they have three kinds of facials: Gold, Herbal and Regular. After having couple of facials in that place I realized it was only one kind. I went in for a facial one day. After the massage, they didn't put any mask on my face. The lady (Sonya was assigned to do my facial) applied the same cream she used for massage and put wet cotton balls on my eyes and left me waiting. As I couldn't feel any tightening of the mask on my face, I got up and looked the mirror. My face had no mask on it. I left the room and went to talk to owner Samira Virji. I asked her "Do you see any facial mask on me?" She just kept saying "I saw her (Sonya) put the mask on your face." She kept repeating that. She didn't admit that her staff put nothing on my face. As I was complaining in front of other customers, one of her staff quickly came and took me back to the facial room and put some green mask from a tube which was never put on me during the pervious gold, herbal and regular facial I had. If they run out of a product, they can just admit it instead of putting crap on customers' face and charging $30 for it. read more

Threading is great here. But waxing is horrifying. They will be in hurry to finish off waxing. I went there for waxing and got my skin ripped off plus they wont do waxing neatly. I wonder why they hurry to complete waxing. I would go there for threading again but waxing is total NO. read more

$5, I spent $5 to get my stache waxed, and my eyebrows threaded. What a great deal. I'm not going to lie, it hurt like a motherf*cker. I dislike pain so I end up looking like a uni-browed freak just to avoid it. I know, I'm such a baby, I can't even handle plucking but I'm still glad I went to Heena salon. I got there at 6 on a Friday and there was absolutely no one there but me and the two women that work or own the salon. I got seated and she started threading. Holy hell this was the worst pain I've ever had, well I'm exagerating but it didn't end like waxing where they do one good rip and you get the sting, I also did not like the noise it made. After the brows were done she started threading my mustache and I couldn't take it, and got it waxed which wasn't that bad especially after the threading. So this is where I will go for all my waxing needs. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying it, if you are used to maintaining your facial hair this will probably be nothing for you. Also, with the prices so cheap there is no reason not to tip well, they deserve it and plus we want them to stick around. read more

This is the best place ever. I've been going here since i was ten years old. The owner Samira and her husband are the nicest people ever. I always go to the same girl that is the furthest one on the right hand side. My eye brows are always thick and full just how I like them. They wax my whole face and leave my skin feeling really soft. I've also gotten my whole body waxed including bikini and it is very cheap and they make me feel extremely comfortable. (Estella is the best for flexing as for her). All of these horrible reviews have me appalled. I would never believe any of them. Get in get out and look good. read more
