I went here with a friend. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. It was busy when we went and everyone was enjoying their food. It had a nice vibe with table seats, booths and bar seating. The crab Rangoon was very good. I also had the general tso chicken. It was good and I would go back again.

Lunch special L37 Nime Chow and Beef Teriyaki

This is one of our go to places for Asian food. We especially like the lunch specials, and I love that they are available 7 days a week and not just Monday through Friday. On our most recent visit, my daughter and I both ordered lunch specials with fried rice, which is really good. We also got the wonton soup (included with the lunch special if you eat in), and it was delicious also. The chicken fingers were pretty small, but were fresh and crispy. Nime chow is excellent - the peanut sauce is perfect and there are slices of garlic in the sauce. Service here is pretty fast and I've never had any problems with my orders. The restaurant is clean and attractive with booth, table, or bar seating. I'm not a sushi eater, but my daughters like the sushi here. Definitely a good option for Asian food in Johnston.

French Crunchy Special Roll and Chirashi Sushi

Came here with a large group and you know what? The sushi was great. Best in the state? Well, not exactly. But the fish was fresh, the service was exceptionally great considering we had 10 people and we had a great time! The chirahashi was a nice dish for a "lighter" option, and when I say lighter, I really just mean I didn't want to fill up on all specialty rolls. Very healthy portion of fish over a bed of rice. I thought the pineapple and bamboo shoots had a bit of an odd flavor, but it was easily ignored. The French crunch roll was very good. A little softer texturally than I was expecting but I enjoyed it a lot. I tried a few other pieces of sushi from friends and honestly, all their specialty rolls were good. Give it a shot for sushi, especially if you need a large crowd accommodated.

Hei place is a go to for me if I want a larger amount of sushi at a good price. I highly recommend the Love boat and have yet to find a better Lychee martini in RI. Warning that they are stronger than they taste!

Udon Noodle Soup with 3 Tempura Shrimp

This place never disappoints. The crab Rangoons are deliciously filled with a creamy cream cheese and crab filling. The edamame has a hint of salt and steamed to perfection. Then the Udon noodle soup is great when flavored with a little Hoison sauce. Not to mention it is served with 3 fried shrimp. The service is pretty good as long as you come when it is not packed. Overall if you haven't been here you def need to try. I would give it a 4.5 but 4 is the closest.

Here's an interesting non-fiction anecdote. Once upon a time, two brothers invested over four million dollars into an antiquated pizza establishment in the heart of North Providence, on the bustling Mineral Spring Avenue. This fancy, shiny koi welcoming palace is known as Jacky's Galaxie. Unfortunately, these brothers clashed like two cymbals. One Chef brother split and decided to start his own enterprise. This new venture would be known as Hei Place. It shares ambiance, but is lacking something. The service is average. The food is hit or miss. The location is strategic. Overall, 3.75 with a round up for posterity. Bon appetite!

This was my first time dining inside and not getting take out. My takeout experiences are always easy and my order is correct. I usually call ahead or order online. This time we came in for dinner. Wow; it was crowded as there aren't a ton of tables but after a short wait we were seated. The space was clean and service was great. The food took a little while but no complaints because it was very crowded. Our sushi was perfect! It was tasty, rolled properly and no mess/falling apart. Our meals were perfect. The only thing I found a bit weird is that the dinner doesn't come with rice, you have to order some. I'm not sure who just wants to eat a place of sesame chicken and nothing else but other than that no complaints. My drink was also good! We will definitely be back.

Amidst being fresh and brightly colored, the dish was quite bland overall. I begged for some elevated heat and flavor profiles-- it definitely fell short and was not spicy in the least. And I'm not a fan of a grease soaked platter... maybe it settled while I drove home but I definitely mopped up oil with a napkin/strained. No bueno. *Sidebar: They have a delicious green sauce that was really tasty and quite frankly saved the dish. I opted for this in place of a sweet Chili Glaze sauce that is provided because I hate sweet flavor profiles in all things dinner! Lol MVP: A wonderfully kind and efficient staff... the order was complete, error free, prepared timely and everyone was very friendly. The best item I purchased was the SANGRIA topped with fresh pineapple! Not the food-- it was all about their in-house beverages. Unfortunately, the set up is almost buffet like with add ons (I paid extra for Pico de Gallo... this also elevated the dish. With the sauce I selected and the pico, the dish literally would have been as bland as a cardboard sandwich). Perhaps it's me-- my palette is pretty elevated and I love heat. Peruvian dishes aren't exactly known for bombastic flavors, spice and heat... but the crowd and utter lack of parking got me excited. Will I return? Perhaps... definitely for a different item (perhaps the roasted chicken everyone was eagerly ordering) and it's a must on the sangria option! But $32.90 for a very basic fried rice mixed with lo mein moment + salad (I tipped $3 amidst to go).... Nah. I'd be lying if I said it was worth it. Lovely aesthetic and energy, however. Chef's energy on the food though was a miss.... Season! The! Food! Sir!

I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Everything else was a dream, can't wait to go back! Hopefully the bathrooms were just a fluke.

We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Their official website is one of the coolest I have seen since it includes audio and images, but I wish it had a description of what each item is, just like their in restaurant menu QR code.

Upon pulling up to the front of the building, you can drive slightly further down SE and park in the small lot with several spots. I actually don't remember anything about the interior to comment much. I was laser focused on getting food in my tummy. We ordered; Tan Tan Men ; a bowl of ramen with spicy pork miso broth. this absolutely hit the spot. it was deliciously salty and full of umami, and the toppings were just right, and I inhaled it in minutes Fried Calamari ; another excellent dish. the calamari was nice and crispy and the meat was tender. couldn't have been done any better. the mango chili puree sauce was also very good and something I haven't had before Tako Yaki ; I'm not sure if I need to say anything about this. it's about as yummy and expected of a properly-done tako yaki as you would expect Karaage ; this one was actually pretty upsetting with how bad it was. the chicken seemed like it was very overcooked - the skin was hard and crunchy instead of crispy, the meat was not juicy, and honestly the portions of these chicken bites were pitiful. I even sent a snap to a friend and she felt bad for me. the flavor was also immensely salty. it came with spicy mayo (which was actually spicy! that never happens!) and a tonkatsu sauce, but honestly I was desperately in need of something sweet like ketchup or honey. Wife and I ate a total of 3 pieces. Our waiter was very apologetic and asked multiple times if we wanted it re-done or if we wanted something else, but we were already pretty content by the time we could air our complaints. To my satisfaction, he removed the karaage from the bill. Despite the miss, the customer service and the quality of the other foods makes it easy for me to still give the place full stars.

One thing that was a bit of a problem was that it was kind of hard to eat, everything kept falling apart, but it was so good that it didn't really matter. We got a bunch of other things too, like General Tso's Chicken, coconut rice, crab rangoons, coconut shrimp, and a shrimp sushi roll. everything was really good and fresh. The coconut rice was a great side dish, and the crab rangoons were gone in no time. The drinks were also really good, One thing though, they didn't put a lot of liquor in them, but they were still fun to drink. Our server was really great, and did a fantastic job, especially since we had a big group of 12 people. We get that it can be tough to handle a table that size. The only problem we had was with the timing of the food. Some of us got our appetizers and main courses before the others had even gotten their appetizers. It wasn't a huge issue, but it's something the kitchen could work on to make sure big groups feel like they're eating together. It would be great if they could improve that, so everyone can enjoy their meal at the same time. I would definitely go back to TigerFish. We visited midweek, so it was fairly quiet. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry and offers plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Service was fast, friendly, and especially helpful when it came to identifying which menu items were vegan or could be modified, which we really appreciated. We ordered the B.Y.O. Tofu Spring Rolls and the Pork Potstickers. Both appetizers were generously sized. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, but having to assemble them myself at the table was a bit messy and took away from the enjoyment. I would have preferred them to come fully prepared. That said, they were still quite tasty. The pork potstickers, on the other hand, were a standout and an easy favorite of the meal. One downside was that the doors were open to enjoy the beautiful weather, but that also meant we were battling flies throughout our meal, which was a little distracting. Overall, Tigerfish was a great find with good food, knowledgeable service, and a convenient location. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return on a future trip to Block Island.
