The food looks so delicious!! How is it that this place only has one review from a year ago? Also, why aren't there any prices on the menu?

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.

Ive been waiting all month to come back here for my moms early birthday dinner and it was a magical experience! She took the best care for us! The atmosphere was identical to how I remember on my trip to Italy! So welcoming, warm, and true to the culture! We started with the apps: eggplant & tomato gratin.. the tomato was so fresh, sweet and the best eggplant ive ever had.. topped with a simple breadcrumbs The Piadinas were probably my FAVORITE that ive be so excited to try! Especially the Nud: prosciutto cotto fontina cheese and mushroom spread .. this was my favorite on the apps menu that id have for myself as a meal! After sharing the delicious apps my mom and I shared our favorite pasta. Strozzapreti Gratinati that Brittany hand rolls herself with sausage rags, arugala and light breadcrumbs topping! Ended the meal with dessert to celebrate my moms bday, the apricot crostata and pear desserts were our favorite! Sweet plum pear and fresh apricot tart! Thank you so much for making the celebration so special! We are extremely lucky we did not lose any loss of taste because we would be missing out big time of these outrageously delicious treats we enjoyed immensely tonight!! The orders tonight were the S'mores Lava Cookie, Midnight Cookie and Cream Milkshake and the Strawberry Cheesecake Cup. The milkshake was devoured by my daughters BF. He said it was a perfect consistency, the Cookie and Cream were tasted in every sip but he said there was just a little too much chocolate syrup! He will absolutely order it again but with a little less syrup next time! The cookie was ordered by my daughter but she said it was gooey and a little too rich for her taste but still enjoyed some with a big glass of mik! My 5 stars goes to the Cheesecake that I ordered! It was literally perfection in every bite! The cheesecake was so creamy, decadent and layered with deliciousness! There was enough fresh strawberries in that little cup that it was present throughout! The graham cracker crumbs made up the last layer that completed this cheesecake masterpiece! The serving is big enough for 2 people so lucky me I have dessert for tomorrow night too! I am thrilled I found you Dirty Cheesecake! Next time I visit you in person as there are so many different types of desserts and variations of each kind, I need to see everything vs reading them off of a menu! I just know I will most probably have the same reaction as when a child walks into a candy store....intense excitement, awe, sensory overload, jumping up and down, shouting wow or look at this but the adult version of it all!!

Nah - the boys just ate that. Chinese or Asian fusion? We just had that the other day. Diner? Nah. My daughter remembered Post Office Cafe and we went. It was very loud in the front and we almost walked out but figured we'd give it a try. They seated us way in the back (I had no idea this place was so huge!) where it was quieter. I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!

Something different than these pastry shop chana etc. First off Terry was unbelievable sweet & friendly. He went out of his way to be helpful & patient with me because I couldn't decide on Flavors or the amount. I guess I am old school or maybe just plain weird but I really like making the HUMAN connection when I am out & about.... I feel like people just aren't very socia anymore ....for a number of reasons . ANYWAY , if you have not been to AhugaPie Shop you ABSOLUTELY MUST GO. So I guess most people would equate a sugar pie to a Whoopie pie. These sugar pies are pretty big and a half of one is more than enough. Terry told me some people buy them and cut them in half and freeze them and take them out as they want them. Which I think is a great idea and is which what I did because I do not live nearby, but I would definitely drive to the end of the Earth for more. It's just one of those places. And I am not a big sweet person put the cake is just always soft and flavorful and delicious. And the filling is the right amount of the flavor and whipped cream and sugar. I think they have like 10 or so flavors available every day and they switch them around. I've probably tried five or six different flavors over the past two years and again all of them were very consistently delicious and amazing. I can't even explain it . It's just perfect. I've had them a few times before when a coworker brought them in. And I finally got a chance to go myself. I was so happy to share the experience with my family.. personally I love the chocolate cake with the peanut butter filling. So if your peanut butter lover, OMG go go go!!! . The product is very consistent. They do have a very specific hours. And as Terry recommended, it's always best to call ahead and either order , check the flavors of the day . & or the shop hours. It kind of blew my diet, but it was well worth it.. please go you will not be disappointed.. the only negative thing I can say about my experience is I wish I had bought a more of a variety of flavors. But that's on me l. Thank you Terry for your kindness - people like you restore my faith in mankind. and you make a dang good SHUGA PIE
