Do not come to this place!!! I came in for a full set and a pedicure, at 2:30 PM sat down in a chair told him I wanted long white acrylic. She told me she could do it an hour and she only has three nails done. I told her it was taking a while and how much longer she said "it because it's to hard" I said well you could've to me that from beginning. Then she get upset and clips them off and say she's just going to do clear Powder. I'm becoming flustered by 5:13 she's finally don't with JUST the acrylic. (Didn't even get a pedicure) I wasn't happy OBVIOUSLY so I said no polish I have to go. She still charges me $75 for a crappy job no polish and 3 hours of my time. I told them that's not right the price should be lower and both ladies start yelling at me that it's my problem. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHITTY JOB Never going here ever again!!!
I came in here on a whim because I had time to kill. I should have checked Yelp first, because I was so disgusted by the lack of regard for cleanliness that I walked out. The man tried to use a dirty nail file on me that he picked up from a tray that had someone else's toenails on it. When I protested, he opened a new packet of sanitized tools and then dumped them onto the same dirty tray. There was a language barrier, but I tried to tell him that what he was doing was unsanitary. I got up and left!
They use MMA on nails, which is a dental acrylic. Not for nails. Look it up before it causes damages to your nails. I recently moved up here from downhill. So my nail girl that uses Valentino product was a drive from me. I decided to give this salon a try. One nail broke about 4 days later. I decided to finally find another nail tech up here. Time of removing or soaking off the acrylic. That showed they used MMA acrylic on me. It was the most disgusting disappointing moment. Never again. They charge expensive asf for some cheap shit! Ladies, MMA can really damage your finger! Beware of nail shops!
Love this place! I've bounced around the high desert looking for a go to nail salon and Helen Nails always delivers. My nails are always beautiful! They never have you waiting when you make an appointment and I really appreciate that too, because time is money.
In town for Christmas & needed a fill. I tried Helen's Nails & Spa & OMG Linda took care of me & did an Amazing job on my nails. I might have to make the drive from Las Vegas everyone to get my nails done.. Thank you Linda for taking care of me & my nails..
Had called another shop in the morning so that my daughter could get her nails painted for her birthday(she's 9). They said it was busy in the morning to come back in the afternoon. We showed up there at around 2:50pm and they told us they were super busy and to come back in 2hrs. We waited until about 4, but I decided to see if there was any other places open. I called Helen's and she said we could come in right then. I'm glad we did!!! They were nice and there was only one person in front of us. Phil did my daughters nails and they came out AMAZING even with her small little fingers!!! I recommend Helen's and definitely plan on coming back when I want to get anything done. Thank You Phil!
I walked in today 5/29/22 around 10 something & was greeted & told i would have to wait about 20 mins. So i wait & i am greeted again by a guy name sonny. which by the way is great! he's slow but he's great! that's my only compliant about this place is that they are on the slower end of doing things. Which is a catch 22 only because you don't want to be rushed & get a half ass job done but also you don't want to be sitting for forever. He did my gel mani & pedi i am very satisfied with his work. he is very particular which is refreshing because a lot of the people in the nail salons aren't. I would return for Sonny.
This is my second visit here. This time I did take the advice to get a new set, I am not dissatisfied at all. Leo, I believe his name is and Zoey, your work is exceptional. I have been to just about ever nail salon in the HD and most places do mediocre work. You've earned my business and I will be returning with my daughters, mom, and niece. Leo, the new set you put on for me is quite impressive. Most of the time when a new set is put on, the nails look awkward, this set looks like I've had them for a few months and they have that nice form. Zoey, I love artwork on my accent nail and the work you performed is beautiful and well worth the price you charge. It's nice to go to an establishment and get what you pay for. Also, I purchased my sister a gift card on my first visit and she redeemed it for a facial, which she explained to me was, fantastic. Helen, the owner did her facial. So far, so good. I think I better make a standing appointment because the word is getting out and I want to be able to get my nails done by Leo and Zoey every time. Thank you, Over the top happy cudt
You know today was a mess at this business. I came in for a full set gel fill and pedicure also gel. I asked for Ferrari red and the lady looked at me like I was ignorant and when I asked her she if she didn't know her colors she replied with there are too many. So I finally flip through all the nails and find 430 which is Ferrari red and I told her hey this is the number so next time you know and she says oh that ones out. So how do you know its out but you didn't know what it was two minutes ago when I asked you? So now I'm flipping through a book looking for a similar red because they can't figure it out and I finally find A different shade of red and this lady literally paints my toes orange I clearly did not ask for orange and she said that Sometimes the colors look different but I'm sorry cherry red and literally pumpkin orange are completely different. So she takes off my paint And goes and gets a darker orange at this point I'm ready to blow a gasket and just leave but I stayed and it didn't get better and let me tell you I would not recommend coming here. The lady doing my nails had to get up and get the actual red that her and I both agreed on and I had to tell the lady doing my toes this is what I was talking about and she kept arguing that it's just different shades! oh Lord!!! So anyway the lady takes off my nails and tells me while she's doing it it's five dollars extra and so I said well OK I need a newer set anyway and she takes them all off and puts a new set on and tells me that my coffin nails are extra because she has to shape them and because they're long and she made them shorter than I normally get them. (She did good nails but the toe lady's ignorance got me) She also said it would be another five dollars. That's red (in my pic) thanks for the stressful experience but still cute nails. Anna was very nice and professional tho 60 for NAILS and 45 for a gel pedi plus 2 dollars to run your card. Then, when I went to actually pay I had to pay $107 for a pedicure and nails with no design/crazy nail oh and they charge you if you want to pay with a debit card. I won't be back!
Horrible service! They do not greet anyone and after waiting they tell you, you need an appt mind you it says walk in welcome! I will never come back!
I spent $50 on this set (NO TIP - and I'm a GENEROUS tipper) The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my daughters got their nails done by Linda and she did a decent job. The guy who did my set completely destroyed my cuticles!!! I showed him an inspo pic and he nodded and said he could do it. He didn't ask me what shape I wanted, just assumed coffin. MY RING FINGERS!!! It's like he didn't even try to fit it right! He just applied the nail and applied SO much acrylic, but it just looks dumb! He asked me three times which color I wanted, I told him 522 he brought the wrong color, and when I brought it to his attention, he said they didn't have it, but thought he could get by with a sparkling red like I wasn't going to notice I picked another red and he sloppily applied it. He then tried to paint on the snow flakes, but all he did was paint sloppy lines and say it looks like the picture... Nope, had him take it off and use the stickers which took him several attempts to apply. After he finished, I sat with my daughter, he comes by and asks me to hold out my hand, at which point he squeezed a ridiculous amount of cuticle gel and told me to rub it in. My other daughter was still getting her nails done by Linda, so I asked her if she could help fix the ring fingers but there wasn't much she could do. My fingers have never been uglier!!! I'm waiting for my cuticles to heal up so I can soak these off

While they were very nice and customer service was very nice I'd probably just get a pedicure . I don't know what it is about the nail salons around here I got my nails done on Thursday and we on Saturday and the nail polish is already chipped . Get some fresher colors . This place is now called Excellence Nails. First with the positive. Customer service was incredible. The place was clean and they quickly helped me, even though I did not have an appointment. My pedicure looks great. However another person did my manicure. It looks like my daughter did it. They're supposed to be almond shape and each has a different shape. They're thick and bumpy. Every time I mentioned it she said they would file out. Not to mention that they look like there's a week growth and I just left the salon. Definitely do not recommend manicure here. read more

Walked in for a pedicure,guy said couple minutes. Then some lady walked in 5 min after me with no appointment niether and sat down. Some worker lady walked out and told her 5-10 min then tells me 30 min. We told her i was there first and she didnt care. I told her we both dont have appointments and she said sorrybut your a man. So what does that have to do with anything? Im a paying customer. I left and will never come back. read more

This is my second time getting Dip Powder & I absolutely love it! I heard that it usually looks thick & gum looking but no!! I got them done with Tina & she is the Queen of Dip powder! I love how thin they are! Thanks girl I love my nails read more

I'm 37weeks prego and wanted a relaxing pedicure before popping my kid out. Instead my toes sting and hurt because Van made them bleed several times. The nail drill was rough(I don't recommend using nail drills on toes to begin with so I was skeptical)Then after drilling he still proceeded to clip my cuticles with nippers which made them bleed a second round. Then after clipping he pushed back the cuticles, applied some chemical to stop the bleeding then cut them AGAIN! I'm a licensed nail tech myself so I know this guy didn't know what he was doing. My poor toes sting like paper cuts and it's been almost two hours since getting my pedicure done. I chose regular polish instead of gel polish and Van didn't paint the entire nail so there are polish gaps on my toes and uneven polish. I had painful ingrowns which is the main reason I wanted a pedicure done, and he didn't cut them out properly so they are more sore now than when I went in for service. I wish I had gone someplace else because my toes hurt more now than they did before, totally defeating the purpose of a relaxing pedicure before birth. The lotion massage was good(although it only lasted four minutes because I timed it) as well as the paraffin wax treatment which is why I gave two stars instead of one. My mom was with me and Philip did her pedicure. He seemed so gentle and relaxed. He appeared to know what he was doing and my mom was satisfied with her gel polish pedicure. He was also very pleasant and talkative towards both of us, making us feel more comfortable. Had I had known what I was in for I would have waited to have Philip do my pedicure as well. Sadly I would not return for Van's services. I still paid full price and left a tip both in cash, and as I was about to leave Van asked me to pay. I said I literally just handed you cash for my services, check your pocket. He laughed awkwardly and apologized and I left. read more

New Nail salon with all the bells and whistles. Clean. Professional atmosphere with creative artist doing your nails. I had a wonderful experience especially with nail tech Jade. Jade is so wonderful, professional, creative and a pleasant person to have working on you. I will definitely be back to try more services and to try the different designs offered. I went to get a full set of nails. Everyone was very kind and courteous. The salon was very clean and fresh looking. Honestly very upset. They of course couldn't find my color until after I had to change my mind. So many nail techs which was good but I felt like they rushed. Every nail has a spot uncovered with nail polish. LOL. & the guy kept saying, "next time" when I asked for something. No next time. read more

Went here today for my moms birthday I went a little before she did so I can get a full set. Let me just start off by saying that once I walked in everyone was so nice and welcoming. I got seated right away by Michael and he did my full set, which he did the most wonderful job on them. He did an ombré set and coffin shaped nails, he took his time and made sure they turned out beautiful. Plus I had one nail that is broken down so low due to a work accident, but Michael did his magic and made me feel like a lady again with my acrylic nails. Once my mom showed up she got her pedicure done by Jade and man she made my moms feet and calluses absolutely perfect, and my moms calluses were not pretty. Thank you again to everyone at Helen nails you guys are awesome my mom and I will DEFINITELY be back. read more
